  1. Erawan waterfall is accessible by public transport, however there are only a few buses per day and when I went the bus was crowded (had to stand or sit on chairs most of the trip). The waterfall and national park is similar to others I've been to, just better advertised and on organized tours. Thai for "it hurts" is เจ็บ jèp [to be] hurt ; injured ; in pain http://www.thai2english.com/dictionary/1290129.html (although the pronunciation is too long, the e is much shorter; watch Thai porn where the bottom asks the top to go in slower because it hurts to get pronunciation right)
  2. Classic is ground floor, upstairs are Hotmale, Dream Boys, X-Size (forgot X-Size in my previous post, price displayed outside). I think it was Michal who reported the German manager of Dream Boys wouldn't reduce drink price even for him (generous tipper, multiple visits with company, order many drinks) because he has plenty of other customer who pay.
  3. Regarding jumping from "Asian" (in the op) to "Chinese", this is justified by statistics (number of Chinese visitors to Thailand). I have read that some bars in Soi Thaniya don't let Whites in, only Japanese. When walking through Thaniya, ladies don't even look at me. Ignoring white customers in Hero is news to me. However, every time I go to Super A (which is every other month), the boys shortly look up from their phones and then go back to playing with them. I have to wait for another customer to come in to see the boys standing on stage. (That is partially because I only have one drink, don't buy drinks for boys and rarely tip. A vicious circle: boys don't pay attention to me because I haven't offed a boy for a long time, I don't off a boy because they don't pay attention to me. But Super A remains best value for money in Bangkok, and one day I might take one off.) I have never to Prince but might go some day. A friend reported (Mar 2015) there is one boy who demands 2000 Baht minimum tip because he has big dick. Such attitude is a bad start in my eyes. I want the boy to thank me for choosing him.
  4. I'm not a beach person either (go to beach on 1 out of 20 days spent in Pattaya), but if I go, I want to sit in shade in a deck chair and maybe have some food (no, skip the food, eating in deck chair is uncomfortable, but it's good to know you can get food). There should be enough space to have deck chairs and umbrellas and free space (sand and sun) on a public beach. There is a beach in Bang Saen popular with locals where I estimate 20,000 (twenty thousand) deck chairs (sample count of rows, columns and concessions), wonder what is going on there. If it wasn't for drinking and washing, I wouldn't touch water at all!
  5. Price posted outside: X-Boys, Fresh Boys, Hotmale, Dream Boys, Tawan. Classic has price on right top corner of the board (?) that doorman shows you. Not sure for Screwboys, I think there is no price posted. Asking for menu is a good idea. Some places have hot tea, which is a nice change from orange juice or pineapple juice (which I usually order: I don't drink alcohol and can get water for free at home).
  6. Well written, entertaining and I even learned something new: Will see if I spot Vit at Scandic and if moment is suitable might go for him. (So far, the 1500 upfront has deterred me. In normal massage, I can decide in the course of the massage if I want more and adjust tip, but not here.)
  7. Can you and others share in which bar you negotiated drink to which price? Here my recent experience (October with German friend B and his Thai boyfriend N): Classic boys from 350 to 300 (in May ? we tried 250 but settled for 300). Screwboys wouldn't go down from 300 (similar report on Sawatdeenetwork), so we didn't go in. This is usually not my style; when a price is posted I either take it or leave it.* If the late previous owner of Sawatdeenetwork hadn't written that he negotiates prices, I would never have gotten the idea (that was around 2011/2012, when I first got a discount 250 instead of 300 at Hotmale). But at those outrageous prices, you have to let them know what you think, and if necessary walk away. *And when no price is posted, this is a pretty sure sign someone wants to overcharge you, especially if a pocket calculator is lying nearby. All markets where locals buy have prices posted, markets for tourists usually not.
  8. Are you looking for other sexual experiences or sightseeing/shopping/whatever to spend daytime?
  9. I treated the subject of Nazi chic comprehensively here: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/10/oh-my-god-24-nazi-chic-personal.html (total of 4 posts, check before and after the link as well)
  10. I have been to Thai Red Cross twice. Registration and processing is messy, from one counter to another, up and down (ground floor, basement, mezzanine). And finally there are two rooms number 9, and I waited in front of the wrong one. If someone has another suggestion where to get tested, consider it.
  11. Mooks is literally pearl, but nowadays they insert glass or plastic balls instead, maybe even metal? I can live with mooks. Silicone or oil is something different. Happened once to me in Eros. On the way from customer to toilet or changing room, the boy stopped at my seat and told me the customer does not intend to off him and will leave soon. Otherwise, you can ask staff if they know the customer and his habits. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread. Haven't been to Pattaya for 3 months, and now I'm excited! Will go next week.
  12. There are alternatives to Soi Twilight, you just have to go to Soi 6 and prices are way down (quality a bit, too). Or massage, or online, or Saranrom, or Pattaya. But this thread has brought up another point: people who go for the show and people who want to off. I have seen enough shows, I plan my visits before or after show, or better go to bars without shows. I am mainly interested in seeing boys in underwear on stage. I make maybe 30 bar visits per year to look at boys, and 2 to look at shows. But many bars offer only a mix: show and boys. Maybe these could be separated?
  13. As far as I know, the age limit to work in massage is 15. I guess all massage places around Silom and Surawong offer special service if you ask nicely.
  14. That's unusual. Email is not popular in Thailand. I made it a habit to call sauna landline number before going after I had a few cases that sauna was closed unexpectedly (loss of time and money for me to get there). I don't want to speak to a particular person, I want to see if reception is manned and ask if they are open.
  15. That was Halloween, they probably had higher price for Halloween (similar in Saunas for special events). I guess it will be back to 350 now. I made the mistake to go to meet a friend in Khao San. I don't like loud music and crowds, so it was just a passing "hello" and then leaving without even sitting down. The whole episode took me 25 min from one end of Khao San to the other.
  16. There is http://www.thaimassageboy.com but it covers only Bangkok and nearby plus one place in Hua Hin. You have to register to see the massage places and boys. Seems up-to-date. However as others have said, many places don't have a website at all or not up-to-date, and will charge high prices for outcall.
  17. From memory, quote from the movie Borat. Borat: Your lips are made to suck cock. Priest: My lips are made to praise the Lord. (or similar, but you get the idea)
  18. I am preying on the boys, and if I were religious I would be praying for success.
  19. Reports about my trip to Bali in August: http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/08/gay-activities-in-indonesia-aug-2015.html http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/08/gay-saunas-in-bali-august-2015.html http://christianpfc.blogspot.com/2015/08/indonesia-general-impressions-bali.html In short: saunas in Bali are fine, I used hornet successfully, didn't investigate gay massage, bars are horrible. Cute boys around and some moneyboys on hornet (two I remember, but I was not looking for money boys but these two offered their services, hence I know). Along Legian Street (where I stayed) in Kuta, traffic even worse than Pattaya. Rest of Bali similar poor traffic (slow due to mountains and one lane roads).
  20. Is this your first trip to Thailand? If you like particular Western food or wine, bring as much as you can if you can't live without it. Cheese, even butter is much more expensive here, and you might not get what exactly you are looking for. No personal experience about wine (I don't drink wine), but others are in unison about high price or poor quality, or both, of wine on sale here.
  21. I wouldn't consider myself fluent, but I did tell some of the boys I am preying on, it doesn't help.
  22. This cultural imperialism of the pornographic industry is a big road block in seducing straight boys. As soon as they know I am gay and like them, they think I want to fuck them (assumption from exposure to gay porn?), but I would be happy with a grope and a wank.
  23. I get most of my tourist visas in Germany (triple entry), and some in Vientiane or Penang. I get triple entry in Berlin, the need to provide proof of leaving Thailand for each entry is annoying. Different embassies handle tourist visas differently (number of entries issued, additional documents required), having a look at Thaivisa is a good idea.

Got to remove his chong kraben and soon he was over me,... Never heard of chong kraben before, here it is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chang_kben
  25. First paragraph: staying in Thailand on visa exemptions is now limited (recent crackdowns). You probably got additional 30 days from immigration (and not from consulate). Second paragraph: There seems to be no limit on time* you can stay in Thailand on tourist visas. So far, tourist visas work fine for me, with the occasional one week trip to neighboring countries and once or twice per year 2-4 weeks in Germany. *Maximum 90 days in a row, then you have to leave Thailand but can come back immediately**. This way, you can spend most of your time in Thailand. **Not recommended. Problems at some border crossings when you return the same day. Better spend some days in another country. Which visas are available for you depend on your nationality, age (maybe retirement visa - don't know the official name - is better for you than tourist visa) and you should consult Thai embassy's website or ask on thaivisa (and provide your nationality, age, and maybe even visa history).
