Good news: neither of us is a retard. I found the sign "Silom 64" hidden amongst the many other signs on that building. And I was aware of people handing out flyers, but didn't pay attention to what exactly they are handing out. With the shop hidden somewhere in the back, and the masseurs stretched out along the front, I didn't draw a conclusion that they work there. Yesterday, I noticed they wear T-shirts with "Relax Massage" and saw one who is cute, so I might give it a try some day.

I will go to Pattaya today and plan to go to the Dongtan gay beach on Monday (tomorrow, 17.02.2014) or Tuesday afternoon. If you are interested in meeting, let's exchange details (phone number?) in PM.

Trip Report - Pattaya - 09 Jan - 14 Jan 2014
ChristianPFC replied to bkkmfj2648's topic in Gay Thailand
Can you elaborate on this? For me, it's rather an abrupt change from standard massage to happy ending (bases on a few cases). But now that I found two boys in Silom area who are cute and up for more, I might be able to train them (maybe I should get it written down in Thai?). The massage would start with him dressed in boxers over underwear (both of a style I like, maybe I have to bring some for him to wear), and when I turn around take these off slowly. The last massage I had, the masseurs was massaging my back and kneeing over me on the table, but he was wearing long trousers so our skin didn't touch, the fabric was in between. Skin contact would have been nice. And he was pouring the oil on my body (I read in shamelessmack that a good masseur pours the oil on his hands, and then applies it to the client). -
By my standards, spending more than 1000 Baht on a hotel room per night anywhere in Thailand is luxury, and in the last three years I never spent more than 800 Baht per night on room. My current rent is 3000 Baht per MONTH, and apart from hot shower (I should have installed a water heater when I moved in!) I don't miss anything.

Ladprao/Chatuchak/Mor Chit has been clear for days and Victory Monument is clear as well (both where occupied when I left on Jan 31 and free when I was back on Feb 10).

I didn't look at the forums during my trip (31.01.-10.02.2014). I will post on my blog. I had the same (1 h oil 450 Baht in Playboy), but the boy pointed out (while I was looking at their menu) that hey have body-to-body massage. I was happy with massage and happy ending, so I tipped 1000 and am looking forward for a repeat. After the oil massage I asked, 1800 Baht is just for the shop, tip not included.

Thanks for your report. Regarding massage with happy ending (usually I want massage 1 hour oil with happy ending, but at about one massage per months this is not my area of expertise), just a handjob would not be enough, I want to watch and touch, and the masseur has to get fully naked for playing around. I had three experiences in Lomchoey Ngamduplee (details in my blog), no tip discussed in advance, gave 1000 and whenever I walk past they try to get me in (unfortunately, none of them really my type, despite good massage and very skilfull happy ending no repeats). In Silom (Thai Best and Playboy), I was asked during the massage if I want special massage and how much I would tip. I said 1000, which was immediately accepted. Both are my type, so I will be back. -
In Bangkok in Playboy Massage (Silom underneath BTS Saladaeng, about opposite Soi2). Went there yesterday for one hour oil massage, and now I am wondering what exactly is "erotic body-to-body massage" at this place (or elsewhere), and what justifies charging 1800 Baht for one hour in the VIP room, tip for masseur not included? Maybe someone else can enlighten me, so I can save the expense if I don't like what I hear. (Google turned up just this thread, so I post here, even it if is almost 7 years old.)

Not long ago (last week) I drove past "Fake" in a taxi at night and there was activity.
-
Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I can talk with people and invite them for eating without having to pay for their time. (Ok, if I were in a new place or didn't speak the local language it might not be he easy, but here in Thailand no problem.)
-
The vast majority of Taxi drivers I use in Bangkok know their way around town. When I ask Thai people for directions in Thai, I usually get a correct answer or "don't know". (Sometimes I ask cute boys for directions or bus line when I already know the answer, just to get into talk. It hasn't lead anywhere so far, but I keep doing it, one day I will hit the right boy.) Of course, asking a Thai person and showing them a map in English, or a map on the phone, is close to pointless (and for taxi drivers it's an invitation for overcharging). Are you fluent in Thai so you can understand and judge what they tell you?

I like guys up to mid twenties, many of them students, so many of them don't have enough money. The straight guys in the slum I am preying on are even poorer. But I met one boy in Pattaya three times already, not a hint of money. But the majority of my acquaintances asks for money sooner or later.
-
My comment regarding money was meant the following way: I pay for transportation, food, entry wherever we go together, and occasionally I am asked for 300 to 500 Baht for various reasons (they might be valid or not, I don't question) and freely give them these amounts. You will quickly learn who is in just for the money, and who likes you but is poor. It doesn't have to be money, I have a friend who really likes eating dried/fried Durian, but cannot afford them. So I make sure I have a bag whenever he comes to visit me. Pitfalls: read my blog www.christianpfc.blogspot.com where I have some conversations with Thai boys ("Dating Thai boys - it's not easy") that give you a hint what you might come across. It is mainly about traveling. In Bangkok, it can be 20 km to travel. In jest, I say it's easier to meet a new boy than arranging a meeting with a boy I know already. Only if both factors play together (the boys wants to have sex with me AND there is some other benefit for him - usually money), then it works well.

6 Days in Thailand and Low Budget: What to do and where to go?
ChristianPFC replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
I have collected ideas where to take friends (i.e. go with them) for a one week holiday in Thailand and a rough schedule is as follows: A few days in Bangkok, including one daytrip to Samut Sakhorn and Samut Songram for the railway market, a daytrip to Ayuttaya, one day along the eastern coast, stop in Erawan Museum and Ancient City, two days and one night in Ko Si Chang (maybe extend by one day and one night), one day along the eastern coast, the Chinese Temple in Ang Sila and the Buddhist hell garden in Bang Saen on our way to Pattaya, two days one night (maybe extend by one day one night) in Pattaya (Sanctuary of Truth, Million Years Stone Park, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden). This is biased by my own interests and places I have been to and liked. -
Money is bound to enter into the equation if you meet a guy a few times. I am speaking of experience. But as long as the amounts are reasonable (I pay for all expenses and give up to 500 Baht per meeting), I play along. I had a few non-money encounters in Pattaya, but I would say it's more realistic to expect them in Bangkok. DJ station would me my first place to go, however not on a weekend (Fri-Sat), as entry it is extremely crowded (i.e. you can't move freely to roam around). There might be twice as many guys as on a weekday (for twice the entry fee), but it's claustrophobic. Saunas (even those Thai for Thai, however speaking Thai would be advantageous) are a good bet. Have you been to Thailand before? There are plenty of pitfalls in dating Thai boys, I have trough all of them (not true, just when I think I have heard it all someone comes up with something new).

One place is missing: Lomchoey in Soi Ngamduplee. I went there three times last year (one hour oil massage 400 Baht, currently 20% discount from 500 Baht), had a different masseur every time, they all were trained in massage and were very skillful at happy ending as well. The place is very basic however (e.g. no warm water in the shower). (My experience with massage is limited, but I remember cases where the masseur neither had professional training nor any skill at happy ending.)

Weekend in Chachoengsao 31.08.-01.09.2013

Yes, posting on my blog instead of up to three forums saves me time as I have only one place to update. Anyway, if I posted all that on the forums, it would dominate them. -

6 Days in Thailand and Low Budget: What to do and where to go?
ChristianPFC replied to TotallyOz's topic in Gay Thailand
Holiday Inn Silom is not budged (but maybe someone else pays for it, if they go for a conference). It depends: are your friends interested in history, nature, culture or want to relax? One or two days in Pattaya is a must, my opinion. Ayuttaya would be on my list as well. -
I used to be a face person a few years ago, but now I changed to paying more attention to the body. I even used to say that if the face is cute, I don't matter about the body, now it is different. The body has much more surface to touch and to look at than the face.

It's on my list of places to go, have some patience.

I think I came across this website before. Without Thai script, it is completely useless, those who can read and write Thai will not use it and those who can't read and write Thai will not get the correct vowel lenght and tones (and therefore will not be understood, which is a good thing in this case). If you stay long enough on the message boards, you notice that some stuff gets asked/posted again and again (e.g. off fees, AEON ATM) and then you just have to copy past what you said earlier (if you can still find it, I need google to find my own posts!): This is what I said here: http://bangkokbois-gay-thailand-blog.com/2013/02/28/first-timers-guide-to-bangkok-gay-gogo-bars-part-x/

Visa run advice? Abstract: where in South-East Asia can I travel and stay cheaply, even during Chinese New Year, and get a triple entry tourist visa for Thailand? My work visa and work permit end on 31.01.2014. (1) I have to leave Thailand, but want to come back after a few days to spend some more months in Thailand. (2) It will be Chinese New Year, which will make travelling and finding accommodation difficult. In which countries in South-East Asia Chinese New Year is not celebrated to a large extent? I want to go for a visa in a country where I can enter preferably without needing a visa and without entrance fee of any kind (as a German). I would go to the Thai embassy of that country and apply for a triple entry tourist visa. (I plan to spend the entire April in Europe and want to come back after that.) In which countries/embassies is this process easy, where can I encounter problems? Last but not least, I like to travel and stay on a low budget. I want to do some sightseeing in that country (several days, up to a week). Any suggestions where to go or what else I can do? I wouldn’t mind some gay activities, but for some days or up to a week I can do without. Apart from Chinese New Year, the political situation in Thailand might change and make a visa run difficult or impossible. (1) Is it possible to get an extension for my work visa, after the work contract ends? (2) After these few more months, I want to stay in Thailand on a tourist or ED visa, find a new job in Thailand, or go back to Europe for work if I find a job. (update: I discussed this with a friend and he said that there are an additional 7 days time to leave the country after the work visa expires. But if this was true, it would be stamped in the passport? It would make sense, according to my work contract I would have to work until 5 pm on Jan 31st (3) and then leave the country on that very day because my visa expires at midnight.) (3) Jan 31st is a holiday, so I only have to work until Jan 30. But if it wasn’t a holiday, my last day of work would be the last day I am permitted to stay in Thailand.

Offing several boys from a bar, that will be expensive! I had those three motorcycle drivers from Hua Lampong for 1000 Baht (+ cost for room and beer total 2000 Baht), but it was not an orgy, everyone was wanking for himself to the porn on the TV, I can have that cheaper at home (I was expecting them to fall over each other, as if they always wanted to have sex with each other and never dared to say so). One orgy I missed was in a sauna. I chatted with three twink boys, then we were on the way to a room and I asked how old they are. One of them was 17. So I asked to see his ID, we went into the locker room, an indeed he was 17. So we couldn't go to the room, changed the subject and nothing else happened on that sauna visit. (That sauna has an 18+ policy, I won't name it, I don't know how the boy got in.) I recently had two boys from camfrog, one sucking my nipples and one my dick. Apart from these, everything else I do is quite mainstream and one on one.
