If you mean dick for D, you have to ask each boy. This is where the mamasan is useful as language is a problem.

It was just something that stuck in my mind, as you went up the stairs, to the rather unmemorable bedrooms.  As you turned the corner of the stairs, the hand rail was not fixed to the wall. I just used to look out for it! Sort of familiarity!

Thanks @Vesseyfor the price information, i followed it to a tee. Except i did order them drinks while they were sitted with me. Tonight will try the bin thing. Price is really different from bangkok. Bring cleaning wipes if you prefer to be handson. They dont seem to have running water. But i came from a 3rd world country so I can manage.

It was still 'work in (slow) progress' in April and everything was still open normally in the old bar - and thank goodness IMHO! 

I am always nervous when there are plans to 'improve' something that I already love and cherish 😆 

That said a good deep clean and disinfect of the toilets and the area behind the bar wouldn't come amiss 🤣

The old Nice Boys offers something unique & posts here make it clear that some board members like that, although not all.   They can also sustain 200 baht drink prices and attract a few customers.

The downstairs offer at the Forest House premises doesn't appear to offer anything unique, unless of course you like playing pool.   So I would think they need to drop drink prices to match other Sunee bars, which are pulling in very few customers.  

According to the original explanation, they were also going to open an upstairs bar in the old Tom Yum premises.    The construction got as far as knocking through to the stairs and bricking up the external entrance.    Then it seemed to stall.   Has there been any further progress with that ?

 

 

 

I arrived at Nice Boys last night at 9.30pm. There was four guys on stage, only one who would interest me for a closer look. The Mamasan said the other boys had gone to a party. They need more guys on stage to entice me to pay 200 baht for a drink.

I know one popular boy who was a regular at Nice Boys but does not bother to go to work because there are not enough customers. Hopefully more tourists and visitors from Bangkok on a non election weekends will improve the situation for the bar boys and the customers looking for some hands on entertainment.

I later tried Dream Boys and X Boys bars where there were ten handsome shirtless guys wearing jeans at each bar. My Leo beer was 150 baht at each bar.
