Do you prefer hotel small shampoo bottles and soaps, or dispensers?

I prefer the smaller bottles -- but only if they're sealed.

I often suspected that housekeepers would simply refill half-used bottles from previous guests. Gross!

Well, what do you think they do with the big bottles? They have to be refilled often as well. I don't see this as distasteful in any way.

It were a good idea to bring me own.

Can you tell I’m binge-watching All Creatures Great & Small (not Conditioners)?

It's much more difficult for guests to contaminate the contents of the big bottles, isn't it?

With the small ones, It's possible to put some in your hand and then put it back into the bottle.

Am I being too OCD about this? 😁

Dispensers are my choice (for shower gels / soaps) but I do supply my own shampoo and conditioner.

I don't like those small bottles  simply because they are wasteful. If hotel provides them and I did not use whole content I take them to my next hotel.

I don't mind dispensers but I don't like liquid soap and always carry regular bar of soap with me or buy it locally right after arrival so dispensers  for me are for shampoo only

Having just stayed in a hotel with wonderful Verbena toiletries in small bottles, I do much prefer them over dispensers. But if it was just the usual little bottles with what i'd call ordinary shampoo etc., I'd certainly prefer the dispensers. On the other hand, I fully accept the smaller neck of small bottles can can make it difficult to get the damn stuff out - and it can certainly be wasteful as I can never actually empty them!
