bkkmfj2648 Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Now hiring!! Yesterday, while doing my almost daily health walk, I intentionally walked past Guido's new endeavor in Pattaya (Pratumnak neighborhood) and there was this new sign posted where Guido is looking to recruit new staff for his new restaurant. I checked out G's FB page at: G's Bangkok Facebook page and the same information was posted - but back on 19 June 2026. The sign on the physical Pratumanak property is new, as I pass by often to watch and note the progress being made. photo taken 28 June 2026 photo taken 28 June 2026 Shall we make a poll for when it will open? I am not a construction expert - but I would say that there could be a "soft opening" at the end of August and a full opening in September/October - just in time for the beginning of high season. zoomomancs, vinapu, jimmie50 and 1 other 4 Quote
10tazione Posted June 29 Posted June 29 I asked Guido a few weeks ago when it will open but I forgot the answer I think it was July twenty something, maybe 24th. Quote

I think that anticipated opening date is rather ambitious. Having said that, I truly wish a BIG success to Guido. For us who live here in the Pattaya area, we will soon have 2 choices for schnitzel and German sausages at the new Schatzi's in the Jomtien Complex and also in Guido's new Pratumnak branch. vinapu, 10tazione, jamiebee and 2 others 5 Quote

Popular Post BjornAgain Posted July 1 Popular Post Posted July 1 Prominent dieticians have spoken highly of the need for a light walk after dinner to aid digestion, blood sugar control to prevent insulin resistance or Type 2 diabetes, reduce hypertension and improve sleep quality. They suggest a non energetic 10 to 15 minute walk. Ironically, the walk from the new G's Pratumnak to your favorite condo, Grande Caribbean, is a mere 15 minutes. Means we'll have your dulcet tones and antipodean wit for many a year to come. vinapu, jamiebee, BL8gPt and 2 others 5 Quote

captainmick Posted Wednesday at 06:14 AM Posted Wednesday at 06:14 AM Does anyone know if Guido’s pussy is going to be relocated to Pattaya? Or perhaps he will acquire a new pussy for “G’s Bangkok” in Pattaya? Quote

After living here for 4 years what I have noticed is the large influx into Jomtien/Pattaya of Bangkokians whenever there is a long weekend. This phenomena is similar to when I lived in New York and when there was a long weekend the New-York- Citiers would inundate Long Island (mainly in the Hamptons). So, my feeling is that just like the New-York-Citiers viewed the Hamptons as their playground I would say that the same is true for Bangkokians. There is the attraction of fresh sea air (instead of hot smog) with the recent added attraction of tar-ball dumplings - which I don't think can be had in Bangkok. So, maybe Guido is targeting the frequent Bangkokian visitors - hence the name G's Bangkok? 🤔 khaolakguy, jamiebee and BjornAgain 3 Quote

For eg Lloyd's of London, Hermes Paris, Yardley of London (which my centenarian granny still uses), Mikimoto of Japan, OD Sydney (a discount brand). Such usage is less fashionable these days as brands would like to appear truly global/international especially when most of their products are made in China. 😏 jamiebee 1 Quote
