February 22, 20251 yr Popular Post I arrived yesterday in to a cold and chilly Barcelona for the weekend. Staying at Hotel Occidental Barcelona 1929 a three star hotel at Place de Espanya. Left for Sauna Thermas which is within walking distance so as to arrive before 16:00. I arrived at the same time as three other customers and with a few boys already present. I got changed and headed to the bar. It was a little quiet but was not long before more customers and boys arrived. I enjoyed a beer while surveying the guys. At its peak guess there were about twenty guys looking for work and about the same number of customers. Not the busiest I have seen the sauna but respectable and a great choice of boys. As expected the guys arriving earlier are more eager for your business but all were friendly. I went for a walk to see who else was around, a great mix of African, Latin and Eastern European guys. I am sure most would have been able to find someone to their liking. I had time with a young guy from Ghana who delivered a friendly sexy service with a tight toned body. Then later had time with a Brazilian twink and a Colombian tonned muscular boy who gave a great massage. All were about 25. After a fun time I headed off to my favourite Japanese restaurant near by before heading back to my hotel. Glad to see the sauna still going strong with a clean and safe environment.

February 23, 20251 yr Author Saturday was spent tracking down a cafe recommendation in the gothic quarter which was great. After which headed for Sant Antoni market and district to explore. Late afternoon headed to Thermas for 16:00. Felt over the evening it was just a little busier than Friday, especially a few more customers. Lots of great boys to choose from just not so many my type. Took time in the bar area to survey the scene. Today I went for a 30 year old Colombian guy, muscular and well hung. Said he only spoke Spanish but we managed to communicate and his little English improved as we spent time together. A straight guy with an incredible body, hard muscular arms and great kisser. What is not to like. Second guy I had seen the previous night but not had time together, a Brazilian twink aged 25. He was fun, enthusiastic and another great kisser. All guys I have met have been EUR 50 for thirty minutes. I have been sure to check each time, but never an issue. Equally have discussed what I want with no misunderstanding. Just an easy transaction for both parties which just allows for more relaxed fun for me. Recommend making the most of the 16:00 to 19:00 time slot as guys start to disappear about this time, especially the hot ones who have secured a couple of sessions. Again finished the evening at my local favourite Japanese restaurant before heading back to my hotel.

March 4, 20251 yr Popular Post I went on a small sauna binge in mid January to mid Feb. I'm turning 66 this summer and not sure how long my health and available cash will last so decided to go for the sort of splurge I've always wanted to do at Thermas and Aquarius in Istanbul. Lots of hot men at Thermas, but somewhat unfortunately very few customers so I had to do a lot of fending guys off. But the solution was just to spend a lot of time in the massage rooms with different guys., They were all great, with not surprisingly one of the Venezuelan guys being my best time. I like guys that have, or can put on, a rough edge. I think it purely natural with him. Honourable mention to a gentle looking hot Colombian who turned into a beast when asked. One thing about Barcelona was the hotel rooms seemed very expensive and in the end I just got a room and a bathroom in an apartment a few blocks from Thermas. On the flight out of town, the woman sitting next to me said there was a really big tech convention in Barcelona that week. I was in Istanbul at the beginning and the end of my trip. Despite the shortcomings of the sauna, I love the Kurdish men there and they've become much more physically engaged in the activities I like. There's a guy I first met there about 10 years ago. At that time he was in the front lobby area in street clothes when I walked in and it was like love at first site. I wasn't sure if he was a masseur, but I stared at him and he nodded back. And he's been there every time since. I still get that rush the first time I see him. The icing on the cake was Marrakesh where an escort on Hunqz with his own apartment set me up with himself and two other guys. All sub Saharan (Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Senegal) and all so hot. That's been a fantasy for a long time and I was so happy that it came true. Of course the whole trip cost a lot of money, but the money in itself wasn't an issue and I did some of the things I've always wanted to do.

October 8, 2025Oct 8 I was at Thermas last week, it was the "client day" on Weds which was usually a busier one in the past. Not sure if that was just a bad unlucky day, but I had a feeling that the quality of the guys has deteriorated even further, compared to my previous visits (last one was in winter). The guys I saw were not on any A-list or even B-list, it was some list down the alphabet - many many older, many out of shape (or going out of shape), obviously drugs are everywhere but that was the case before. I didn't hire anyone as it's been slim pickings despite maybe a usual number of guys. One Asian guy claiming to be from HK (I have lots of doubts about that) asked for 200 euro, then for 100, then was running after me all the time trying to negotiate for 80. I said no. I'd be curious if hireable guys have mostly moved online - something we talked for years about being bound to happen.
