Because of personal reasons and not having had plans to return to Thailand again, I was absent on this forum for some time. I come back, and this is one of the most active / recent threads... 😥

Please let's not make this forum a place to fight out personal arguments or disagreements. When posting something, ask yourself the question is this something others like to know or read about... And with this thread it feels like the only reason for it is so @PeterRS can ventilate and get rid of a lot of angryness. Can't imagine forum members are interested in this. 

If there's something going on between you and another forum member, keep it between the two of you. I really don't see why you would write about it here. Even IF everything is true and you're completely right, even in that case I would say keep it private. Not a subject forum members are interested in. We want to ready about boys, bars and other adventures abroad.

I really hope @bkkmfj2648 will return to this forum and keep us informed about his life and adventures. Now in Vietnam in soon again in Thailand. I must say I have had so much more fun reading his posts than @PeterRS recent contributions to this forum in this thread. @PeterRS proved he can contribute also in a very positive way to this forum with the many posts he had done. Hopefully he will return to posting interesting stuff and get out the negative vibe of this thread.

Thank you for your post and I do take your points. BUT - and it's a big but - how can you hope to understand the reason for it UNLESS you go back to the very reason for its existence! You say you are not interested in details. This is ALL about details! Why did you not read the earlier posts which I had summarised? Unless you read the three specific posts on the Colombia thread and the unprovoked attack on me made there, you cannot understand the reason for this thread. I have had PMs from posters who did take the trouble to read all the relevant threads and agree with me!

I agree. Which is precisely why I have asked for what reason the original attack in the Colombia post was made. I have received no response. A brief one might have sufficed and not only kept the discussion to that particular thread but actually ended it there and then.

Again I totally agree with you, Which is why on May 28 I sent @bkkmfj2648 a long PM outlining my feelings about the attack he made and stressing this should not be discussed on the main Board. Two weeks have passed and I have had no PM response. How can one keep an issue between two members if one member does not even respond? Please answer me that.

I had to learn that for UK O level exam. I had not studied Latin at school, and when I passed the Oxford University entrance exams,  I was told that I  had also to pass O level Latin. I had left school by then. Ceasar's Gallic wars was the set text! Happy days!
