sure bet. I was  thinking about next trip while in the taxi to the airport as I felt my vacation time this trip was bit of underutilized and that is reason  for my reservation about this one.

Day 3

 Breakfast at Zing is in my opinion very good value at 189 baht for quite extensive selection. At the moment they have even promotion, if you buy 3 times , 4^th is free. Track is kept on card they gave me when I bought 1^st one.

One of massage guys from Jomtien Complex I engaged few times in the past probably spied me on Grindr or passing by with my friend through the Complex yesterday because out of blue he sent me a message this morning so I invited him for 1 pm to come and check how he likes my room. We did not bother with massage and it was kind of kissy-huggy reunion.

 For dinner I decided to try recommended by few Sophia’s Kitchen  opposite Dick’s in the Complex and indeed their chicken with cashews is one of best I had ever. Complex is busy preparing for Pride Night tonight with 2 stages set up so my hope is that famous Max will grace that night with his presence at The Best Bar.

  Early  evening as  arranged yesterday my guy from Dreamboys showed up and today’s session was even better and hotter than last night to a degree that I forced additional 1000 baht on him upon learning that tomorrow he is going home for a few days. Hope to see him again whenever I will be in Pattaya. I need to find a way of hosting him overnight, good sign was that today he did not say no when I revealed my plans about future. I liked he did not promise anything but said he feel more comfortable with me now and will think about that. Okey, okey

 Well after dark I went  to Supertown filled with expectation that my Maxhunt will materialize. Lots of people everywhere and truly festive atmosphere. I parked myself at The Beast Bar but  no, there was no Max in sight. I was watching shows produced by every bat on the stage in front of The Venue but Max was missing when his bar was presenting their part. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow, also day when he normally performs there. My beer was brought to my table by very manly faced Lao twink so after few sips I offered him a drink. By time  I decided to call night off I consumed two and he 4 bottles of Chang.

 Not sure who first suggested we  go home together but certainly we had the same in mind so of we went. While I was disappointed with Max absence , at least I satiated another curiosity. In @Home bar I noticed muscular guy I stalk on Grindr who advertises he likes kissing. Had I noticed him earlier I’d try to engage hi but now it was too late and may be it was good after all.

 While passing by I gave him red note to signal my interest and reaction was somewhat strange, instead of expected smile, wai and thank you I got kind of grimace one sees when somebody almost steps on dead rat or dog’s poo on the pavement. But no, he did not give me note back so not being  sure what I’m supposed to think   I just kept walking with my guy in tow. On our way we met aussie_ from forum celebrating night with his friends.

 To hotel we went in style – both of us on the same motorsai, clearly twinks have advantages of not taking so much space.

 By his own admission he started his work in the bar only few weeks before so lack of experience was visible but was offset by clear willingness to do the best o earn his tip. Me and twink and happy with him ! End must be near.

It was already dawning when he asked for permission to go home  which was granted . after he left I slept quite well till quarter to 11 am. I barely made to the breakfast but I did it !!

Day 4

 Starting day at 11 am  seemed bit weird to me  but what the heck, I’m on vacation anyways. Today forced expulsion from hotel. We were informed 2 days ago that it will not be electricity in hotel today between 3 and 6 pm. So I decided to spend afternoon in Pattaya – Night Market, foot massage and pedicure, just to kill time,

Then to Jomtien bus station to buy ticket to Bangkok for to tomorrow and from there to Complex for dinner of chicken with cashew nuts at Sophia’s . There were 4 dinners at the time there and three of us had the same dish , including myself. It was almost 7 when I arrived to hotel, power was back !

 After few hours of rest and sprucing up I returned to Jomtien Complex hoping that Max hunt will materialize tonight. I parked myself over Chang at the Best Bar , noticed preparation to show outside but no sight of Max tonight either, Yesterday’s guy joined me for a beer and then another  round. We watched show together but discouraged by failure of my hunting mission I decided not to off anybody tonight.

 Show was entirely lip syncing by various ladyboys, not really my thing but still quite enjoyable because of selection of their hits  about half of them I know lyrics off and signed along , impressing my guy quite a lot! Of course tipped him for his time and past midnight actually walked  to hotel. After sitting whole evening I felt like I could use some exercise.

 So Maxhunt was failure but thanks to Dreamboy guy from first 2 days  I think I liked Pattaya part of trip better than Bangkok one .

Day 5

 It didn’t start well. It was dawning when I woke up and noticed swollen lip- allergy , which is tormenting me this trip and also at home after return. Good thing I had a pill and took it, returned to bed but sensibly set alarm for 10 am.  Zyrtec works as sleeping pill as well and I dd not want to miss breakfast , not to mention bus.

 Message on Line from CB, he already arrived in Bangkok this morning so I instructed him to wait fort me at 3 pm in the lobby of new Nishitetsu hotel by soi 4 as I decided to check it for one night.  Indeed everything worked, 12 noon bus arrived at Swampy at 1.30and it was exactly 2.55 pm when I entered lobby. No CB in sight but I checked in, left them his name and asked them to hive him his own card and went up to the room.

 

All fine, room new and shiny . I already posted some pictures of it in Hotels thread.

 Particularly impressive was safe fitting one of desk drawers. There’s no window in the room  but there’ one in bathroom so there is way of seeing day from night. All in , I liked it and stay there two times- first and last. Reason is economical – for half price I have twice as big room in Raya with the same conveniences.

 But if you like new and shiny places – go for it by every mean.

 When in shower I heard  door opening – CB arrived and promptly joined me in the shower. Some reunion gymnastics and we went to Foodland to eat something. While strolling around we met one of Moonlight boys and masseur from one of soi 6 shops who also works as go-go at Good Boys after hours. He was surprised to  see me and promptly complained I did not tell him I’m coming. I told him  “ I like that surprise smile on your face “ which is actually true..

 We returned to hotel with me hoping for another round of reunion gymnastics but it seemed CB had other ideas like glue himself to his phone.  We met many times and even travelled  together but that was side of him I did not know. I guess whole 7 day only visa situation and resulting loss of earnings is stressing him immensely but while I understand it, not necessarily I must to like it. I told him frankly that if he wants to utilize fact that he has free accommodation with me this week he can go to work in bar to get some cash – it’s  why, among other things I asked for his own kye card to the room so he can come and go freely.  

 Some how he did not like that idea, asked instead if I will be hitting bars tonight and expressed desire to accompany me  there, wherever I will be going.

Today’s goal was clear – grand opening of Than Tawan in former The One and earlier Tawan location.  

Those are my impressions from Grand Opening I posted on the forum already in Patpong thread :

After show, at 11 pm. Or so we went to Jupiter. And those are my impressions already posted :

Noting new there either but  show, was well attended and, what I hate there, most of prime seats were reserved for better customers which I understand  but still hate. Noting new includes fortunately fact that all guys were very good looking and they managed to add quite a few new bodies I did not see before. 

Common wisdom in bars is that if guy doesn't wear the number, he is already booked or not available for an off. We'll  it is not necessary correct as after show it was, at least for me,  quite clear that some non numbered guys are  still looking expectantly at customers of both genders. No idea how it works but my advice will be if  one has hots for them boy it's better not to trust bar liturgy but get that "no" or  even better "yes" from either mamasan or as I would prefer, from boy himself. “

After those bar forays we went to Patpong night market fort banana pancakes and then final to the room for steamy gymnastics. It looks that at night CB has less desire to clutch his phone and can’t say a bad word about his performance but it clearly looks I will need to entertain him in day time and it’s not exactly what I was hoping for . But since I invited him I need to carry on hoping for the best.

Usually i would advise to have an escape route in case of things like this. Another option is to voice your dislike about him fixating on the phone. But that wont solve the part where he is sticking with you all the day time too hehe.

it was no a tease, I was trying to stick to chronology. If I disclaimed in beginning of report that planned Maxhunt proven failure that would spoil reading experience and some would skip it probably entirely. 

Its the same if one wrote in beginning of trip report " it was fantastic trip , specially after I met that Bank from Three Cocks bar on day 8" . I guarantee you most readers will be waiting  for that day 8 report skipping the rest.

and so would I but for me it was bit unusual situation for three reasons

1/ I know guy very well and had only good experiences with him in the past

2/ I feel sorry for him for situation he found himself in for political reasons - day 6 will be even more brutal, with border closures and visa cut off to 7 days 

3/ since I invited him and agreed to provide him with shelter for that week as he asked , being from old school I  decided to carry on , warts and all

not to mention that bed part was all good with one exception but it was kind of funny so I just shrugged it off, I will report it soon.

Last few days I'm kind of busy with other stuff plus heat here is at Bangkok levels and is sapping all my energy with no boy at the side to energize me

This measure definitely made it not worth the hassle to cross border and pay the transfer fee plus the bib fee, having only 7 days (5 days if discounting travel day) even for the famous ones especially on low season period. 

I feel that we forum members should visit phnom penh and siem reap and help the guys there hehe. Seems like some of them did move to work there. How i wish someone in the know would grab these handsome cambodian guys to work in malaysia hehe.

that the measure for boys to be taken and decide it's viability. All boils down to possible earnings. What I can say with surety that I know boy who left for Phnom Penh the same day my CB left for Cambodia and  yesterday he Lined me that he is on his way back to Bangkok and will wait for me there ! Included even pics of him on the bus to show he means it , lol

Day 6

After breakfast at Foodland we had mixture of steam and boredom in the room as CB clearly was hooked to his phone and seemed to constantly check something there so whenever I tried to be more personal so to speak , after while it was clear his mind is somewhere else.

 Good thing I, liking him , endured quietly  until he finally  spilled the beans . Cambodian Prome Miniter closed all land crossings with Thailand and asked Cambodians in Thailand to return home. That was reason he seemed so uneasy.

At noon we left our room in Nishitetsu and  walked to Raya, hoping room will be available as they are known for not allowing check in before 3. Not this time, room was ready so we settled in  and parted ways . I went to Sizzler at it’s new location in Park Silom for buffet salad  lunch with Christian PFC and CB went to meet somebody who would transfer him trough the border in few days when his 7 day stay expires instead of leaving immediately as asked by his Prime Minister.

Real mess politics created for those guys I must admit.

Salad bar at Sizzler is not just greenery , for 199 ( Christian even managed to get some coupon for 40 baht off) is not only vast selection of veggies but also pasta and soups, in short one can have real meal for relative peanuts. We had good time eating and chatting as always.

When I returned to the room CB was still absent but he has own card so we agreed we are free to come and go as we need.

I decided to wait for him doing some house keeping in meantime and did my daily money count – amazingly this is my day 6 and all I can’t account for is 28 baht.

He showed up clearly  hungry –  ‘eating ‘was his first word upon entry . He seemed to be in good mood but instead on cashing in on it off to Foodland we went for    a meal, I just had my chicken rice soup for 62 baht which is my meal of choice when I’m not that hungry but accompany  somebody who is.

Back in the room  he told me somebody will help him through the border  on his last day for 2500 so no need for him to leave immediately. So we celebrated good news where anybody reading it expects – in the shower and in the bed ( and then in the shower again ). Goes without saying I secured his good performance by offering to fork out that 2500 for that ’ helper ‘.

Evening saw us at G’s and then we crossed the soi to visit Banana Club where CB was recognized by some staff  and boys and shamelessly I must say , so did I .  As usual at Banana boys have little time to present themselves , but at one point they did, most next door types. Thay may lack muscles but big cock show revealed  few impressive specimens  including 2  transplants, one from Freshboys, another one from Hot Male. Bar was about half full between 9.30 and 11.

Next station was  Freshboys between 11 and midnight with the same level of attendance – about half full.  Quite a few cocks on  display , I liked the show even if guys there are not exactly my types  . Toward midnight quite a few guys sitting with customers or already offed so even in low season bar seems to be doing quite well .
