Bangkok Gay Dance Clubs

Hi guys

I'm in Bangkok regularly. But I've never been to a gay dance club, like DJ Station, although I'd really like to. I'm 57 now. Would I still fit in at that age? Or would I be looked at like an alien?

Don't go too early, wait for the younger guys to get tipsy... they really can't hold their alcohol and they lose their inhibitions.

You won't be the youngest one there but won't be the oldest by far.

If you're looking for hookups, like all gay bars, you're more desirable if you are a top..... or have wealth, which is also relative ☺️

Don't worry. I am 45 and I would not think about going to a club in Europe anymore. But in Bangkok I still feel in place and welcome when doing to gay club.

It depends on which personality we are talking about.

I have seen plenty of older gents in GOD too having a great time. The only thing is you may get approached by money boys instead of regular guys hooking up with each other. But why not, many of them are cute and willing, and more likely to be a university student turning tricks than a go go boy.

Either way, it’s smart to stay on your guard and not get too drunk. Easier said than done in there, especially when the alcohol is questionable at best. I’m not talking about beer.

With go-go guys, I’ve honestly never had an issue. Same with app hookups, surprisingly 🤷‍♂️

The only times I’ve had small stuff go missing were with random freelancers from DJ. Not all of them, but a few over the years. A cheap cell phone, sunglasses, cologne, fingernail clippers one time. Nothing catastrophic, just annoying, btw this is when I used to stay at apt's vs hotel..... the hotel getting the ID is more valuable in thee instances because the guy knows their ID is registered 🥺

I never leave cash out and always use the safe, so that was never an option for them. They know we’re tourists and the odds of running into us again are basically zero. And if you’re tipsy, the odds of you clearly remembering who it was drop even more.
