And responding to anyone's post requires a degree of comprehension of what was actually posted and about whom!

This will come back to haunt you.... also this " But checking before posting takes seconds!"

sometimes I feel like it's a "who's on first" skit, when the joke goes over your head or you miss the humor or sarcasm.... I'm not the detective/researcher like you or I can't mention his name, because then he suddenly appears.... but You've misquoted or mis-posted before

You're familiar with the people that live in glass house saying.... this is a yes or no question, no need for the Long 🍆 one 😄

I'm perfectly happy for it to come back and "haunt" me because I check my posts before posting. Since you suggest I have not, examples please! If you find any apart from the occasional spelling mistake which is also common in other posters, then as you are talking about glass houses perhaps you can then check your own and post a comparison! And recall this discussion is about posting comments from posters which are in fact posts from different posters and therefore downright wrong!

And please don't come back with the trite comment that you do not have time! You make the assertion.

I just used a fast track service last week as I had been seeing reports of 1 hour + waiting times

I think Hank you might be pulling our 🦵 old son , telling a few porkies ...🐷🫳

I just received an email from BKK Fast Track just now that there is currently NO  Fast track as before , you have been a very very naughty boy Hank telling fibs 😉

I know HANK you wouldn't tell a few fibs to OldDaddy 😉would you , Daddy will always catch you out Son🧐

Unfortunately, we need to inform you that, for the time being, we are unable to offer passage through the premium Fast Track area. This is due to ongoing renovations, as well as temporary adjustments to airport rules and regulations.

As an alternative, we can still offer a meet-and-greet service at the gate. One of our hosts or hostesses will meet the passenger at the gate upon arrival and escort them to the Priority Lanes in the regular immigration hall. Please note that these lanes may be busier than the regular Fast Track area, although queues are normally still significantly shorter than at the standard immigration counters. Current estimated waiting times are approximately 15–30 minutes.

if you would like to use this alternative service upon arrival, If you would like to book only VIP fast track service, please do so via the form on https://www.limousine.in.th/fasttrack.php so both you and we will have all the required information in the right place.

With warm regards,

Of all the things I can think of to fib to you about, this would not be one of them 🤨

Your provider (who is not AOT but a third party) is being somewhat pedantic. “Fast track services” are alive and well, as evinced by the screengrab from the AOT app today, and also the service I booked via my hotel last week. There was a specific gate that was literally called “Fast Track” which is closed, but you can still be met by a “butler” brought to a special express lane which could be (as in my case last week) a separate set of lanes that are usually for diplomatic use and also made available for fast track passengers, or perhaps the regular priority lanes that you wouldn’t otherwise get access to unless you are senior, disabled, with babes in arms, or a monk. I suspect that third party service providers may get access to better express lanes the more they pay at the airport.

Your provider (who is not AOT but a third party)

Once again, @Olddaddy is posting incorrect information.  @hank75 is correct.

As I previously posted, AOT manages Suvarnabhumi Airport.  AOT is the only official provider of purchased Fast Track services.  All other Fast Track providers are third party sellers, Limousine.th, Klook, Tripadvisor, Viator, Booking, Getyourguide, etc, there are many.

I'll explain it for you, @Olddaddy , it's like buying an airline ticket from the airline, or buying it from Cheaptickets or Expedia.  You did not receive an email from Fast Track.  You received an email from Limousine.in.th about the fast track service they are offering.

If you purchase Fast Track from any agency other than the official AOT service, you are buying from a third party.  Authorities have recently cracked down on third party Fast Track resellers.  This is the real reason Limousine.in.th can't offer the service any longer, as @Olddaddy posted above.

I just asked Google AI if the purchased AOT Fast Track service is still allowed and operational.

The following answer is from Google:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

AI Overview

Yes, the official AOT Fast Track service is still completely allowed and operational for arriving passengers at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

However, because airport authorities have cracked down heavily on unauthorized, third-party "VIP visa agents" selling access under the table, you must use the official, authorized channels.

How to Access the Arrival Fast Track Official Channels

* SAWASDEE Pass:  This is the official product run by Airports of Thailand (AOT). You can purchase it directly via the official [SAWASDEE Pass Website](https://www.sawasdeepass.com/) or by downloading the Sawasdee by AOT mobile app.

* Authorized Third-Party Platforms:  If booking via travel platforms like Klook, Tripadvisor, or [GetYourGuide], ensure the package explicitly states it is the Sawasdee Pass or an officially bundled AOT premium service.

As I think has already been mentioned in this forum, the Fast Track is still operational for those on a departing international flight. There are Fast Track counters at each end of the Departures area and these are still for business/first passengers, over 70s and those who used to be served in the Fast Track Arrivals area. Franky, having been through these several times, I will always elect to go to the East area by the TG check in desks, even if it means a longish walk. It is often virtually empty whereas I have been stuck in longish queues the West area.

But for travellers who want to use Fast Track on entry the rules have changed and the numbers who can use the Lane have been reduced. It is no longer acceptable for business/first class tickets or over 70s unless you have the special Fast Track Privilege. Instead, I have been told there are newish Priority Lanes you can use in the east and west arrivals halls.

Alternatively it seems BKK is trying to persuade those seeking Fast Track Services to pay for them. This can include being met at the airbridge, a buggy to take you to Fast Track, quick Immigration and  the services of a porter at the carousel. I have seen this quoted from Bt. 1,000 for very basic service to Bt. 3,800, the latter including the buggy.

I hope this follows the basis of @daydreamer and @hank75's posts.

Since I have travelled a lot, I thank my lucky stars that I purchased the 5-year Elite Visa when it still permitted a 15-years extension for the same price. Now renamed the Privilege Visa, it helps me get business class counters when on economy tickets, free access to one of the three Miracle Lounges in the departures area which have a reasonably good selection of food and drinks (although less good than most business class lounges), and all the help including a buggy when I arrive back even in economy class. Bt. 1 million for 20 years is a lot and unfortunately no longer possible since Elite became Privilege two years ago.

The recent five-year Bronze membership @ Bt. 650,000 closes at the end of September. Thereafter, the five-year rises to Bt. 900,000. Neither permits the opportunity to extend. A 15-year Diamond membership will set you back Bt. 2,500,000. 20-year Privilege Visas are now by invitation only at a whopping Bt. 5 million.

These visas are clearly not for tourists unless thay happen to be rich, or only really useful if you are living in Thailand with lots of travel or visiting Thailand very regularly. I could have opted for the Bt. 800,000 retirement route, but I just do not trust the Thai Immigration authorities. With the country now desperate to find new ways of raising cash due to the very rapidly delining birth rate, I have no faith that the Bt. 65,000 and Bt. 800,000 limits will stay.

Why does he quote on his bio that his birthdate is 07/18/1970? That would make him 56 years and 11 days.
Somewhere he is telling porkies.

Someone once called me an "old cunt".

My response was: "How dare you call me old!"
