Popular Post aaroninatl Posted 12 hours ago Author Popular Post Posted 12 hours ago Monday night update... Progress. I didn't sleep through club time. But I'm home before midnight. Hit up several of the bars I hadn't ventured into yet. I'm going to grade on a scale tonight because listen it's Monday night. I don't expect anyplace to be poppin' on a Monday night. Nature Boy Started the night here because it's not even 2 blocks from my Airbnb. Was in and out in about 16.4 seconds. 2 guys I'd swipe left on were occupying what felt like a hallway to nothing. My expectations were low and they were met. Super A I don't remember reading anything about this place. Saw 2 cute guys at a 7 Eleven who looked like workers on a break so I followed behind about 40 feet (yep, I'm a creeper) and saw them go in this place. Didn't know if it was a bar, massage spot... but what the hell. Seemed to be a hybrid. One of those super awkward moments when you walk in and realize you're the only customer so they make all the guys line up and they all stare at you. I asked what I assume was the mamas to let them be "at ease." There were about 8 guys... many decent looking. One smokin' hot muscle boy that might get some business from me before the week is over. Realize when I say muscle... I'm not talking about a bodybuilder. I'm a twink guy. This was a twink with a gym membership. Just had my initial drink and made my way to the next block. Hotmale At long last, I finally made it in. Again I'm going to try to be kind given it was a Monday night, but the lineup was meh at best. One of the guys looked like Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite. Just awkward emotionless standing on stage. The show looked like it could have passed for The Gong Show. Unfortunately no gong in site. I liked the layout of the place. But yeah the energy wasn't there and the presentation did nothing to get my juices flowing enough to warrant an off. I did like the lack of drag. And nobody was smoking - don't know if it's prohibited or not. So my new rankings... 1. Dreamboy 2. Freshboy 3. Super A (don't know if this belongs on this list given you have your fun on site) 4. Goodboy 5. Hotmale 6. Natureboy Havne't popped into Jupiter yet. Briefly stuck my head in Banana but when all I saw was a drag queen on stage, I moved on. Once I had massage from a Laos guy who contacted me on Grndr. He came to my hotel room in afternoon. Average lean guy in 30s. I paid him for session and he told me that he works at Super A. Another was with a forum member (I cannot remember who). We went inside Super A and had a drink out of curiosity. Just a few guys (about 5 or 6) in bar. They removed their shirts and stood there for us to have a look. Average next door type of guys. We chatted with a guy who seemed to be the mamasan. No offs for us. We said goodbye politely after our drink. bkkmfj2648 1 Quote

I was surprised there were so many guys working last night in all the bars. I’m sure it’s not their choice. In the US strip club guys normally have to work mid week if they want to be used on the weekends. floridarob 1 Quote

She treats my guy well. I did the same with the main mamasan at Hotmale when Cam was working there. We became best buds and I was overly generous but with good reason (at least I think so). Once Cam and I became an item, he had a conversation with mamasan and said he would sit and drink with customers, and even go off with customers for drinking, but nothing else. I think this does happen from time to time and it depends on the club and mamasan just how agreeable they are to such a request. He has a friend from Cambodia who works in Banana Bar who has a similar arrangement with the owner there. Anyway, while the mamasan's can be somewhat aggressive or pushy in some of the clubs, in general I think they look out for the guys working there. Quote

Cam knows him since they worked together and the Cambodian guys from the different clubs tend to hang out together. I am partial to this club, but then again I have good reason to be...that is where I met Cam. I do like the layout. I also don't mind their show. It is more entertaining to me than either Freshboys or Dreamboy. I get bored quickly with the shows at these two clubs in particular. Also not a huge fan of Moonlight or Jupiter...but that is more about the annoying payment in advance feature. Hate it. To be honest, my favorite of all the shows is Banana Bar...even with the drag performances. I also like that Hotmale doesn't get too crowded..less competition for me with the guys. lol. Not so good for business, though. floridarob, vinapu, kram987 and 1 other 4 Quote

One thing I've been curious about and tested it last night is the ability to pop your head in and see if the roster is to your liking before ordering that first drink. I'd be far more willing to test every club every night. In the US, that's not kosher. If you want to see the merchandise, you've got to pay that cover charge first. Quote

aaroninatl Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Spent the day with my Grindr guy yesterday. It’s worked out quite well while I can spend the day with him and still have a little fun at night. 😉 we checked out this really cool little spot in a residential neighborhood called Hidden Bangkok Bistro. I saw it on YouTube. Awesome views as the boats go by with soft music, nibble on an appetizer. I had an orange smoothie that was fantastic. Unfortunately, it was drizzling for most of the time. But still definitely worth checking out. vinapu, ichigo and jimmie50 3 Quote

Even if you did not like a venue it could be simply bad timing or that one and only boy happened to have day off on the night you visited . Even the duds I've been to so far I'll probably check out again at least once or twice. Goodboys was probably the biggest dud of them all for me but I'll still drop in again. If I was only here for a few nights I'd have to narrow my playlist... but I booked this trip this way for a reason. I get 2 weeks here in the front and back end of the trip. My hope is by the time October rolls around and it's time to go home, I'll be sick of all these clubs. I doubt that'll happen though. haha Quote

a-447 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I've spent quite a bit of time in Super A over the years. There used to be an upstairs section where you could choose a guy to sit with you and spend the evening enjoying a mutual groping session. I stopped going there when a mamasan brought someone inappropriate into the bar. I was usually the only customer. Often the mamasan, who sat outside at the top of the soi sharing customers, would rush in and yell at the guys to get up on stage. But usually the farang would put their heads in the door, take a quick look and not bother. One evening there was a guy working there will was totally naked. I asked the mamasan what was going on, and she said he had forgotten to bring his work shorts so as punishment he had to remain naked all night. I didn't mind at all! I got him to sit with me. And he didn't mind, either, as he was obviously totally spaced out on drugs. The guys working in Super A, Golden Cock and Nature Boy knew each other and everyone's business, too. There were no secrets. So imagine my shock and horror when some of the guys told me that 2 guys at Super A had tested positive for HIV!!! The bar simply kept quiet about it and they continued to work there. I went to the bar once or twice after that. I knew the names of the guys so kept well away from them, but then decided that I could no longer support the bar because of their unconscionable behaviour. I last dropped by 2 years ago during Songkran, just for old time's sake. I had a quick drink but didn't see anyone who appealed to me and the ladyboy mamasan was a real pain in the arse, as usual. Having been brought up in Japan, where total unadulterated sleaze is the name of the game, that area of Silom was my favourite. A lot of guys there were a real handful! 🤣🤣🤣 floridarob 1 Quote

I’m also not into the high-society attitude at certain gogo bars. When I do visit one, I’m not the type who needs to do the rounds and hit multiple venues in a single night.....I can almost always find someone my type in any given place in Bangkok, Pattay is a different story... too many fem/twink bars, lol I'm glad you think highly of Super A. As I mentioned recently, I’ve had very good luck there over the years. You never know what to expect, and since you can walk in to see who's there without ordering a drink first, it's a zero-gamble spot. In my opinion, Bangkok always has something to offer every night during the high and shoulder seasons. Low season can be a bit slow sometimes, but all it takes is one good guy to make your night. 4 hours ago, jimmie50 said: Also not a huge fan of Moonlight or Jupiter...but that is more about the annoying payment in advance feature.
