Correct.  When I first met Cam, I had several from the various massage shops I was juggling, including him.  As things progressed from there, though, the others were eventually dropped.  I still occasionally hear from several of them via Line or WhatsApp.  Usually it is just a quick hello, asking me when I plan to return to Bangkok, or simply 'how are you'.  That would be Chaicana, Green, and Paradise.  I don't ignore and politely respond, but don't engage in lengthy chats.  Simply say hello, doing fine, no plans for future trip.

Saturday night report... 3 go go boy clubs down. Let's rank them.

BEST: Dream Boy
It's not even close.  It's all about presentation. The quality of the guys, club, sound system, stage, everything from the venue I had been in the previous hour was VERY different.  (Skip to #3 if you wanna know.) The seats were more comfortable.  There wasn't too much drag show time (why is that a thing?) and effort was made on costumes and choreography but honestly, don't we just want to see hot guys?  As I walked in, most of the boys were on their phones in the lobby.  It's an odd business model to me but I'm sure there's logic behind it.  I liked that it was a no-smoking venue.  Smoking isn't a deal breaker for me, but clean air is much preferred.  There was quite a range of dancers. A few muscles, lots of Twinks and everything in between even an older guy for those I guess into that.  My favorite stage performance was when they just had six of the numbered guys dancing. I wish these bars did more of that. Let's skip the drag. Let's skip the not so aesthetically pleasing non- umber wearing guys doing routines.  After the lineup does their shuffle on stage send them in groups in six to dance.  Doesn't have to be choreographed.  There was one guy who I didn't really even notice during the group stage walk around.  When I saw him dancing in that group of six, he stood out and all of a sudden had my attention. His moves were sexy af. But yeah, dream boy makes these guys look like stars.  By far, it was the best experience so far in the go-go bars.

RUNNER UP: Fresh Boy
I already did my write up earlier in this thread, but I liked the energy of this place. It's not as big as dream boy but there was enough eye candy to keep me happy. 

WORST: Good Boy
Holy crap was this place terrible. From the moment I walked in it was disaster. There were only a couple clients and the desperation in the eyes of the boys on stage was so uncomfortable. The staring they did at seeing a new Customer walk-in was so eerie. The guy who I'm assuming was the Mamasan was instantly trying to get me to pick a guy. None of them really stood out to me as special.  All of them looked absolutely miserable to be there.  There were way too many drag performances.  The constant pressure to pick a guy or tip was just obnoxious.  I tipped one guy simply because he smiled while the others were so miserable.  None of the routines were in any way exciting sexually or just for entertainment value.  My favorite chuckle I got was between performance as they put an image on the screen behind, and they clearly stole an image from Google images because the photo had a watermark that said iStock on it. I'm not claustrophobic, but it just seems so cramped yet there was no one there.  I really felt bad for the dancers.

Since @aaroninatl is new to Thailand, I just want to make sure he doesn't hop in a taxi and wind up about 12 hours south of Bangkok, in Khao Lak.

Good number of twinks and twunks at Hotmale, but usually few customers. Less number of drag performances than Good Boy.

Hotmale usually has a fair number of Cambodians, whereas Fresh Boys tend to have more Burmese these days, but @jason1975 is the expert on FB.

I only know about the Viet guys in Freshboy. And only if my guy is working there. Now that he is back in Vietnam, I don't know what is going on in Freshboy.

Hahaha. Good Boy is an acquired taste. Once you get to know the guys on a personal basis, you will find them to be really wonderful and fun. I am friends with more guys at Good Boy than at Freshboy or Dreamboy. I frequently treat them to dinner and beer after their bar closes at 2am.

I love the gogo dancing at Dreamboy. In fact, I twice offed the dancers just to dance for me in sexy briefs for one hour in hotel room.

My sleep pattern is still wacky. LOL. I get about 4 hours after the bars. Then a 2 hour nap before them the next night.

Understandable. I’m not against the diamond in the rough places. I like variety. The biggest thing that crushed that place for me was the ravenous pressure to pick a guy in the first 10 minutes. They gotta chill. 😆

Yeah, I was trying to communicate that as much as I could.  The only one that was really high-pressure was the good boys guy. He was nice but clearly he speaks English better than comprehending it.  I totally get that. I’m that way with the languages I speak.  I can communicate most thoughts, but when someone speaks back, it’s very difficult to understand.  I was trying to give feedback, but I could tell he was not at all following what I was saying. By the way, another newbie rookie thing.  By the name mamasan, I just always assumed they were female before arriving. 😆

I also sleep around 4 hours while in Bangkok. Back from bars at 2am. Wake up at 6am for morning sex. Then breakfast and goodbye to guy.

As @Enchanted_Elixir said, it is a mix of twinks and twunks.  I actually enjoy the show at Hotmale.  Even though they may have some drag numbers, they only have one drag performer and some of the guys join her with dance routines.  In regards to Sunday and week nights...Hotmale doesn't seem to get many customers these days regardless of day of the week or even time of year.  That is where my bf worked and he is from Cambodia.  Not sure what their make up is at the moment...I know he has two 'friends' still working there who are from Cambodia.  I cannot say about the rest.  I say 'friends' because they are not best buds or anything like that.  More acquaintances I guess you might say as they are from the same place and work in the same place.  People Cam considers his friends are those people he grew up with back home and stays in touch with.
