Checked the rates for last week of november: Zing - 30 Venue - 40 Agate - 50 Poseidon - 80 East Suites - no availabilities! I've always stayed at agate, despite the brkfst. Any reason to change? Do others have any tempting features? Why is zing's rate so low, and poseidon's so high? Why is east so popular (or is it so small)?

After 8 years I returned to Pattaya for a two week visit. Thanks to this forum and its members I was aware of the few changes to Boytown, for example the termination of the BBB boy line up and parade just prior to the opening of the club; sweet memories. A very big change to BBB is that it appears the club now caters more to Chinese female customers than to gay guys. As I sat outside the bar watching the various activities, I noticed that the guys outside BBB were very aggressive in pursuing Chinese people walking through the area to go to the club, whereas they frequently ignored non-Asian guys walking through the area. My first Thailand visit is coming up. I'll be spending about a month in Bangkok in September. Curious which days of the week I should escape to Pattaya? I'd imagine weekends are the prime time for both. And if that's the case, I'd probably find more fun in Bangkok... but I'm thinking a midweek visit to Pattaya would be dull? So I'm stumped. Any thoughts on how I should break it down?

I'm visiting/staying in Jomtien towards the end of August, staying at The Venue in the Supertown Complex. It's my first time in Thailand. I assume it's ok to take boys/ladyboys to your room at the Venue ? Talking of ladyboys, are there many in the complex or is it mostly boys ?
