  1. I travel often and frequently to Brazil. I generally use wifi when it is available on a flight. It is a long flight between GIG or GRU and the U.S. (more than ten hours). During the long trip, I purchase wifi to help ease the hours on those long trips. I use the aircraft wifi for ordinary things including e-mail, whatsapp and so forth. On occasion, I look at that "other site" and have never had a problem accessing it. However, several years ago when I first tried to access this site from an aircraft, I got a message telling me that the site is blocked because of its content. I usually try at least a few times to access this site while on each subsequent …

From Khaosod English BANGKOK — A military unit overseeing motorcycle taxi services will encourage riders to register with private ride-hailing applications to ease conflict while new rules are being written. Responding to growing anger which led to a recent mass protest of win motosai at the headquarters of Grab, the largest such service, Maj. Gen. Piyapong Klinpan said the 11th Army Military Circle will meet Thursday with motorcycle taxi representatives, application service providers and other related officials to find a solution. “The problem is people are sick of motorcycle taxis and turn to the GrabBike application for an alternative,” he said. “Riders fro…

Most people believe Summa Cum Laude is an honor ... Publix grocery store believes it's obscene. Case in point ... this cake. A woman in South Carolina ordered the tasty treat online to celebrate her son graduating from his homeschool program with a 4.79 GPA ... earning Summa Cum Laude honors. But, when she sent a friend to pick up the cake, the word "Cum" was edited out -- an apparent violation of the grocery store's obscenity policy!!!! "My son was humiliated," the woman posted on her Facebook page ... "I seriously couldn't make this crap up!!!" "How utterly ridiculous and I will be speaking to a manager for a refund. Shame on you Publix for tur…

From BBC Skirting the edge of Bangkok’s restless Chinatown district, barely noticeable among the sagging electrical wires that drape over the city like bunting and the flurry of street hawkers offering colourful fabrics and sparkling baubles, the Nightingale Olympic department store has been both a retail and a psychological anchor of the neighbourhood for almost nine decades. All but forgotten, the multi-level cabinet of curiosities stands as a monument both to its own history and to that of the woman who has kept it alive. Now 96 years old, Aroon Niyomvanich started her career at Nightingale Olympic, the city’s first major department store, when she w…

NOTE -- Must have walked by this place under construction a hundred times on my last trip but little did I suspect what would emerge. The spot was once an Irish pub that did a respectable business, even though it was located at the corner of Silom and Thaniya, the soi where Japanese men go to shop for golf paraphernalia by day and nookie by night. But now it's ......how do I say this on a gay forum......it's--forgive me--a Hooters. With just about all of us lamenting the impending shutdown of Soi Twlight at the other end of Thaniya, now Bangkok's third branch of the bouncing boobs is open for business. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I don't feel threatened…

After Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, announced Monday he would not be attending the royal wedding of his daughter, Kensington Palace called for privacy for the soon-to-be newlyweds and for Markle himself. The announcement came just hours after Markle's other daughter, Samantha Grant, took the blame for setting up her father's paparazzi photos. Oh, dear! @Suckrates are you passport ready? Who will give Megan Markel away if not? I’ve never posted a link anywhere ever from brides.com until now! @AdamSmith could go, But I’m sure he’d dress like Barnaby Collins: so no. He’s Definitely not brides give-away material. What a k…

For anyone that watched Janet Jackson receive some Icon award at the Billboard Music Awards, her live performance was quite disappointing.... At 50 +, Janet sure looked gorgeous, but her performance (partially lip synched) lacked the usual power and energy you expect from a Janet performance. Kudos to the promoters who designed a production number designed to create enough chaos around her, with minions of dancers and crazy lighting to detract from her lethargy. AND she wore FLATS ! But gurl gets props for swinging that 3 ft ponytail !!!! While Janet may have the hops to still create great music, it looked like it was time for her to hang up up "live per…

And fuss over this NEW product from Heinz, Mayochup ? Anyone who has been woke for the last 100 years knows that this is the standard base for DIY Russian Dressing, and for those too cheap to buy ready mixed, have been mixing it up for decades. And is you were really smart and added pickle relish, you had Thousand Island Dressing. DUH ! And I thought Americans only showed their stupidity by electing TRUMP ?

From Bangkok Post Thailand could see 10% more rainfall than usual during this year's rainy season with Andaman coastal provinces and eastern areas being warned of particularly heavy downpours, says the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD). Thailand officially enters the rainy season this week due to the influence of southwesterly winds. The country will likely see above-average rainfall overall this year and he warned people across the country to expect torrential rain this month and in September and October. However, the rain will be lighter or it may even be relatively dry from June to August. https://www.bangkokpost.com/news/general/1464654/rainy-season-set…
