The Beer Bar

Towelroad and The Huffington Post are reporting that actor Matt Bomer acknowledged his sexual orientation in public for the first Saturday during the Steve Chase Humanitatian Awards in Palm Springs. The White Collar star thanked his partner, publicist Simon Halls, and their three children after receiving the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his work in the fight against HIV/AIDS. "I'd really especially like to thank my beautiful family: Simon, Kit, Walker, Henry," Bomer told the crowd. "Thank you for teaching me what unconditional love is. You will always be my proudest accomplishment." http://www.gay.net/celebrities/2012/02/13/matt-bomer-comes-out

Who didn't know this was coming? IMHO, any gay man who thinks praying to take away their gay should be sent to a gay sauna for one week with hot guys. If they can resist the temptation for that week, they are cured (for that week). If not, they are gay. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2013/02/06/ex-gay-crusader-who-publicly-bragged-about-being-cured-caught-trolling-for-men/

How This Sonogram Changed their Life.

I hope he is doing well...

Leonardo DiCaprio is shilling for Jim Beam during his break from making movies. Hey, a guy's got to earn a paycheck to keep partying at the beach! This will not air in the US though.

Money Money Money. . .

Gallup is out with new poll results today based on responses to the question, "Do you, personally, identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender?" The question was asked in tracking interviews during the second half of 2012 and is the largest single study of the LGBT population distribution on record.

A fascinating reminder just how huge the so-called dark continent really is:

Jim Parsons who plays Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" has to be the greatest comedic actor in a generation. There isn't an episode where he doesn't make me laugh out loud.

What To Do If Your Boy Toy Wants A Ring At Boy Toy, we are excited that so many states in America are joining the 21st century by legalizing gay marriage. Of course, we believe that people have the right to love anyone they want and should be able to take advantage of the same legal advantages as straight people. But, we also know that with the normalization of gay marriage there can be problems for some of us in the gay community. After all, marriage isn't for everyone. As one of my friends said to me the other day, Shit, my boy toy wants a ring. I just want to have fun. What the fuck am I supposed to do to avoid this and not hurt him? It's a good question particu…

The NY Times reports that the skeleton found last fall near the buried ruins of the Greyfriars Priory in Leicester to be none other that of King Richard III. However, DNA evidence cannot explain the strange shrouded shadow that lay in the dirt beneath the bones. Further tests cannot conclusively prove it, but the lineage may be linked to one unique individual currently among us, a direct descendent of Richard III. The shadow may be of a royal crest, some obscure nobility living among us today. The search is underway to find him. Clues, anyone? http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/05/world/europe/richard-the-third-bones.html?_r=0

Some of the findings from three internet surveys conducted amongst MSM are reported in a long article on the fridae.com website. And they make the usual disturbing reading.
