  1. Conditioned perhaps by the situation in Toronto and Montreal gay bars where the dancers are for hire that when in Rio or Sampa, I find the go-go dancers more appealing than the easily available mingling trade. So I ask and I have never been refused. They usually quote the current going rate.

  2. I'm not sure what response you expect. Most guys would say "it depends on the individual". I imagine it works the same way as in the US or anywhere else for that matter. 17 years ago, I once took home a hotgogo boy who was dancing on a New York bar. I smiled at him, was very polite, and admired his physique. When he crouched down to speak to me, I stroked/felt his body as I put 2x $20 bills in his socks and I asked if he would have a discreet date later at my hotel. He smiled and said Yes but he couldn't leave for an hour. I waited for him and we took a taxi back together. So my view is that it depends on you showing some interest in the young man, being charming and nice, and being very polite. It can only help you in the negotiation if you say you're happy to be discreet, tip well in the club and are generous in what you offer the gogo boy.

  3. @boiworship : Yes, 500 pesos seems to be the going rate that I get charged and you can usually bargain that into an all night stay if you hold out. Of course there are guys who will ask for more or offer less time but most will be happy with 500 MXN and a good evening. However, some will hold firm and it is up to you to decide if it's worth the extra pesos. Still, remember that this is Mexico not Colombia or Brazil. The hot guys exist, you usually have to put a bit more work into finding them; unless you're tomcal and they just show up at your door begging for papi This works out well for me as Mexico is closer and I am fairly proficient with the apps. I should have tried the Renacer Day Spa just so that I could give a report here about the quality of guys, prices and procedures. Hopefully, someone can rectify my mistake. Another place that kept on being mentioned as a spot where locals go to pick up street meat and "anything else you could want" was Parque Morelos. Unfortunately, the action there takes place at night and, as is usually the case with this kind of activity, is considered seedy and dangerous. Luckily, I don't have vices for the explicit "rough trade", the middle class irregulars from the apps usually work out just fine for me. P.S. In my first post I saw the kid on the bike while traveling to a tour group by Uber. We definitely eyed each other up at that traffic light and he even opened his legs to give me a better view of the merchandise that was on hand. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the connection
