I agree with J. Sunee Plaza extremely quiet. Last night I was in Jomtien Complex and surprised how quiet it. I had a good time in massage shop followed by drinks with two friendly lads at Cockatoo. Nai and Pong aka Boy a pleasure to know and have a drink with. A few night ago, I was surprised to see only 2 boys on stage at Toy Boys in Boyztown. Only difference from J. was in Dream Boys, where I counted 15 gogo boys on stage. Only 2 customers, my friend and me. I had a drink with Yut, delightful older gogo boy with fair command of English.

I heard tonight from a reliable lad who used to work at Eros, that Eros was closed until the end of July.

Dragon was open last night, albeit only two boys. The dim red light is annoying to me and very difficult to see in. I had heard earlier that the bar would reopen November for high season.

A beautiful renovation but scarcely any boys visible. First night or two, there were 5-6 boys outside but last few days none, with one or two inside. There are many Boy massage places nearby on Second Road and several on main Boyztown soi.

I’d said it’s already happened. Most boys can’t make money in Sunee Plaza anymore. Still, one can find slim twinks and feminine boys but they are scarce now as well. Diehards will persist and some foolish farang may yet throw out his money on a new bar for a Thai boyfriend. Dragon 789 closing yet another nail in the coffin. BUT it’s low low season. With the diehards mostly deep in their 70’s, it looks gloomy. Jomtien Complex vibrant and lively but far less boys and customers now in low season.

After 2 visits to Nice Boys in the last week, it’s been very quiet with few customers and not many boys. The bosses have spruced up the bar somewhat with animal prints covered the seating. With Sunee Plaza now in its death throes, Nice Boys had been a reason to go but not lately. I hope it can revive. Dragon 789 around the corner has closed and Winner Boys and Eros also very short of boys. It’s low season but I still wonder if Sunee Plaza will stay viable until high season. i see many boys I know from Sunee now in Jomtien Complex.

On the topic of short time rooms in Pattaya, not long ago I offed a lad from Dream Boys and needed a short time room. He took me to one just a minutes walk away. I wanted a/c and hot water in shower. The little hotel asked me for 500b., which seemed excessive. There was no a/c and no hot water. A week later, the same boy wanted to be offed again and told me the short time room was 300b. now. obviously, I was conned out of 200b. the first time.

Last night a couple of us did some bar hopping in Boyztown area. we went to the 10:20 pm Dream Boys show, which I always enjoy. We decided to try the 11:50 pm A-Bomb show. It started on time and featured about 15 lads. Fairly typical Sexy boy show, NO ladyboys, and a grand finale with all 15 boys naked and hard. It was a lot to take in with so many guys but no complaints. I can report that None of the A-Bomb show boys was in the Dream Boy show. The boys did not pour into the audience after the finale for tips. Earlier, four of them did come off the stage to try to bring a customer on the stage. They succeeded with one Asian man and were very playful and affectionate with him. Fortunately, he was not morbidly obese or decrepit as they partially stripped him. He was a good sport. Before and after the show, most of the many gogo boys were shirtless and playful. Some Asian women in audience.

Three of us went to A-Bomb Boys last night before heading over to Boyzboyzboyz for 10:30 show. There were seven gogo boys fully dressed in jeans and an A-Bomb tee shirt. Drinks were 280b. each. Ligthing, sound, a/c all okay. Sexy boy show nightly at 11:50 pm.

Way back, on my first trip to Thailand, I offed a boy from Tawan Boy Bar in Bangkok. We started with a back massage and the boy aggravated an old back problem causing me severe back pain for the rest of my trip. It was my first and last muscleboy off. I remember just wanting him to leave as he wouldn’t do anything other than the massage. Useless. i wouldn’t recommend the blind massage for back pain. Thai massage is painful and if you go, don’t agree to medium. I did feel better after the massage but wouldn’t recommend if one has back pain. Sort of like banging your head against a door and when you stop, it feels better.

Panorama Bar has closed after many many years. It will be renovated under new ownership. Now, like the old Oscars Bar nearby, it’s dark.

I stopped by again last night after seeing the show at Xboys on the next soi. I saw the old mamasan/manager and spoke to him. He said there would be a show around midnight tonight (Wednesday June 5th). I asked if sexy show, he said yes. It’s late but I’ll possibly check it out. Hopefully it’s the first of many, as I enjoy the shows at the boy bars nearby.

Bar is open, serving drinks. Gogo boys were scarce last night and it will be a few more days until they have a full staff of available boys.

We went in A-Bomb Boy Bar last night to check it out. The balloons were gone and no A-Bomb Boys sign yet. The stage was lowered, the drinks bar was moved near the entrance and the place looks great and new. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. They are staffing the bar currently and anticipate being fully staffed with boys within a week.

I’ve heard of this bar before. Tonight, I was inquiring about a hot lad I’d seen around Xboys and Dream Boys. I had a long chat with a farang who sometimes announces the boys at Xboys. He told me about a club in North Pattaya that has erotic shows. It’s a big place and can hold 200-300 customers. Almost all Asians in group tours. The boy I inquired about worked there. The show feature sexy ladies and sexy boys. Some of the show boys in Boyztown area bars work at 69 and do the boy bar shows afterwards. boyzboyzboyz used to have special ‘show boys’ that performed at this same club. BBB stopped these special shows a while back. anyone ever been to 69 or know more??

I find the thread title offensive. When I was younger, layaway referred to a method poor people used to buy things. It predated the common use of credit cards in the last 50 years or so. I find all references to the boys as merchandise, fresh meat and prostitutes as derogatory and demeaning. Sex workers is fine and descriptive as are words like host, companion, friends with benefits etc

I passed by A-Bomb Boy Bar last night and construction work was ongoing. It was after 11pm, so it looks like there’s a push to get ready to open. Looking like a June opening. i stopped in Toy Boys for a drink and a gander and spoke with Pat, Put, Puk. He was fine with all the variations of his nicknames. The Taiwan owner died a few years back and his much younger Taiwanese bf took over and shared a residence with Pat.

The boy might get part of the off fee, but it is paid to the bar, when you pay for your drinks. One should expect to pay a premium for one of the show boys. At least 500 b. more than an average gogo boy..

Last nights show was stunning. Eleven boys in the finale, parading on the stage at full mast. I generously tipped each one after a brief check of their goods. You can off them for 800b. or wait till after the shows for less. A couple of new boys blew my mind. Almost no farangs there for show.

It’s low season and there are relatively few gay farangs in the boy bars. Many older gay farangs now use the apps. Jomtien Complex still has many gay farangs and many bar host boys as well. The Boyztown boy bars have few older gay farangs but large numbers of Asian men and women customers. There’s no shortage of bar boys and many make little money and don’t seem to stay long. Sunee Plaza fairly desolate most nights with dark stretches of closed bars. The boys seem most desperate here but of course, boys have been asking for money for food for decades. My guess is most make very little money and are dependent on tips. They need ‘offs’ to pay the rent. Many bar boys are on the apps now..

In my bed, it would put me off as well. In a showbar however, no problem..
