In the beginning word of warning as tittle of the thread is a little misleading. I went to Cambodia without any intention to chase men, rather I wanted to visit some places which at time of my previous visit back in 2001 were inaccessible due to mines, impassable roads and lack of any infrastructure. Old habits are dying slowly so when opportunity appeared so did men in my environment, hence tittle. This time an inspiration for a trip came directly from e-mail in a form of fare offer which seemed to good to be true but turned out accurate. Only requirement was to make decision fast as it was expiring in a day or two so I did and as result flew through half of the world for less than 600 $ round trip. Thus day 1 of my trip started early in the morning with 1.30 a.m. landing at Swampy. Immigration was a breeze this time and exchange rates in the airport looked decent so I made smart decision to exchange 100 USD just in case since I had only 500 baht on me from the last trip , enough for taxi but not much more. Air temperature was nice surprise as well , arrival in BKK is usually marked by wall of hot air but definitely not this time. 425 baht including tolls , airport surcharge and driver’s tip and I parked myself in Nantra Silom. Decent , modern and clean room for less than 1000 baht always good deal. Did not go to bed though, instead went to Patpong to see half naked workers finishing packing up night market stalls and goodies. Always pretty sight. From there through darkened soi Twilight where I noticed still some patrons drinking at blackened Hot Male beer bar at 2.30, to BBB Inn to see if my favorite masseur Tao is still working there. Yes and no as I was told he just left yesterday for 2 weeks vacation and will be back only just before my departure. At computer in the lobby was sitting another boy and receptionist read me very well suggesting him as a substitute for late night massage. Sure. My 100 $ exchange at the airport came handy as price of massage was pretty steep at 1700 boy tip included. Recently visited Siem Reap and while massages and man chasing was not on my agenda at all life run its course leading me to visit 4 massage places and here are my impressions: BLUE HATHA / I learned hatha means hand in Khmer/. Centrally located, two blocks from Pub Street. 6-7 boys on duty, similar format to HERO , boys behind the glass and you pick up whomever you like the most. Took my usual 1.5 hr. session with boy with broadest smile at me. 1 hr.- 15 USD , 1.5 hr. 20 USD. Only cold shower, shower alone .Mattress on elevated pedestal. Massage good, boy in underwear, removed at bit later. Pretty soon talk turned to boyfriends , marriage proposals etc. Shortly speaking , hint was given that more than massage is available and will be provided on request. After massage shower together , boy mentioned he doesn’t like cold shower but soldiered on. Tipped 40 and left smiling , planning to return as quite a few boys took my fancy but life run it’s course. LINGA BAR AND SPA In a small alley parallel to Pub Street. 3 massage rooms upstairs from the bar, well appointed, marbles , hot water , mattress on elevated pedestal. Boy was assigned to me from rotation which I did not mind as he was looking good to those tired eyes. 1hr 19 $, 1.5 – 26$, took that session as always. BARCODE At river end of Party Alley , extension of Pub Street, opposite to a wat . There’s bar on a first floor and few well appointed massage rooms upstairs. It looks that they also have a rotation system but boy who was supposed to be first in line was missing , guy on duty tried to find him for a moment but said if you like me , you can take me. I did as he was tall and fairly well built so why not ?. Price structure the same like Blue Hatha. Massage on a table, again 1.5 hr. course taken, showered alone which seems to be Siem Reap standard. Massage boy in briefs but after a while he made sure he was not far from my wandering hands. Noticing my interest asked ‘ you like my cock? You can have it whole night tonight if you like’. Certainly proposal worth careful consideration and after whole 5 seconds of deliberations my answer was ‘sure’. No need to say massage session at this moment was terminated and since narrow massage bed was not conductive to getting to know each other better we decided to continue in my room. Off fee was 5 $ only , I guess so cheap because I already paid for massage and I gave him his massage tip as well. Off we went picking up some street food on our way to a hotel where we were greeted by knowing smiles of owner and few tourists congregated in the lobby but days where I would be embarrassed by such attention are mercifully long gone. We both did very well by that arrangement, not only spending three nights together but also upon learning that in the morning I’m taking trip to very remote Prasat Bakan he asked if I think he can go with me to which I agreed happily. MAN This is man only resort hidden in small alley close to Wat Polanka, kind of hard to find but if one follows maps from their website is not really that difficult to get there. From main street National Highway 6 there small alley with sign “Man” and it’s really short walk from there. Tuk-tuk drivers apparently all know the place and it may be the truth because first one I hailed close to my hotel knew it. I went there with very high expectations as very name ‘Men’ says it all. Very classy place with prices to match, price structure the same like in LINGA 20/26 for 1/1.5 hr session. I was assigned boy, very , very good looking , not tall but God-like muscular so I was hoping for plenty. On the way to a massage room glimpsed amenities, pool, gym , few patrons, one with boy beside. Showered alone , massage on the table with well, boy in singlet and briefs and he stay that way for the whole 1.5 hr. course. Not even once hint was given that fun other that just a massage may be available so I had just that- very good professional massage by extreme eye candy but that’s it. Left 30 $ tip which considering circumstances was probably too generous but truth is I liked massage. So in comparison with Bangkok or Pattaya massages in Siem Reap are not as adventurous but fun can be had as my Barcode adventure testifies. Certainly there room for further exploration and I liked all 4 places even if experience was not exactly Senso, Arena or Hero like. But after all it’s different country , different culture so subject of man to man massage may be approached differently as well.

In similar emergency twice I used Thai Smile right on Silom between Patpong and soi 6, perfect job , fast and not expensive/ less than 1500 /. As a bonus one of dentists there is real hunk of Tawan / Jupiter quality

I think and deeply believe that all this breakfast discussion is misplaced. Most of us including 86 kilo of myself of course can use much, much reduced breakfast servings than those offered at Raya, not to mention Meridien ones. Do you guys really travel that far to have nice and sumptuous breakfast ? I'm always amazed how much place food discussion and information takes in a guidebooks and how much time travelers spent discussing food and restaurants. I just returned from Cambodia and positively more people asked me how did I like food and what did I ate than what I did actually see there.

It looks that I had bad luck at Nice boys on the night of my visit. One more point to check bars frequently because situation changes it looks Two boys at Eros were not muscular but at least had some muscle definition , nice in comparison to other boys in the bar. it think he meant in general. With only three go-gos left in Sunee survey of realm doesn't take that long and doesn't cost that much with cost of drinks in 120-160 area.

Forgot to mention but it's indicated above, now it's called 84 Hotel. Clean , yes although room was cleaned every second day, good enough for me. First night I spent in regular room , there was working safe. Then upgraded to a penthouse apartment and there was no safe in the room but i guess they could transfer from another room on request. I was staying there for a week in beginning of month. Not fancy but adequate and friendly. Air conditioner problems was fixed by calling repair crew right away despite day being Sunday, I was impressed. Penthouse suite on the top floor is a gem , for 24 $ one has not a room but whole apartment complete with microwave in something which can be called kitchen annex. Quiet location but very close to a market and Pub Street, like 5 minutes walk at most. No problem with visitors other then some discreet knowing smiles, LOL But not a gay hotel anymore , definitely gay friendly though. Great and handsome tuk-tuk driver Sophea is affiliated with hotel, has also friend with car for longer or more comfortable trips if desired. Right beside is local restaurant with all dishes costing 2 $, looked great , plenty of other food options nearby. Two jacuzzi on the rooftop terrace. Breakfast can be purchased for 3$, handy but not overwhelming option I recommend the place to everybody although Four Seasons it is not but prices are more user friendly.

That's shame, even Nantra Silom with rooms for 30$ /night has free internet everywhere including guest rooms

I'm just fresh from Cambodia and here is short note of praise for Sareth in Siem Reap. When initially contacted response was almost immediate. I had few specific and non-standard trip requests to places out and far from regular tour circuit and he put it together for me to full satisfaction as originally specified. Due to conflicting schedules he was able to accompany me for only one tour which I enjoyed immensely. Full recommendation from me for Sareth

between 5.30 and 9 a.m. Foodland charges 62 baht only. As for Raya I'm surprised soem note that breakfast selection is poor, how much really one need to devour for breakfast? They usually have selection of 6-8 warm dishes plus regular breakfast stuff and I find it ample and varied enough. All accolades about the rooms are well deserved, new , clean, quiet and spacious. As for guest no problem whatsoever , if fact only if you are on floor 5 where reception is they see your guests at all. For all other floors you simply go there directly by the elevator using your access card. They did not blink an eye when I was bringing two boys together nor when one was leaving and I was greeting immediately one waiting in the lobby already. Sometimes they wanted to check ID , sometimes not. Only thing is as Raya gains popularity good deals seem to be scarcer and scarcer. Other possible inconvenience is as mentioned above that they don't allow for early checking i.e. before 2 p.m. although they made one exception for me , I guess my room was empty from previous day. If one really need to get room earlier because feels sleepy short time room in nearby BBB Inn or Suriwongse Hotels can be hired for a short nap up to three hours. Better still have a massage at BBB Inn with boys available 7/24

I just returned from Bangkok and bars are alive and well. Tawan emptying after show with lots of boys available left till close at 1. Jupiter packed for the show ,but at midnight bar is empty of both clients and boys with 4-5 left on the stage. XBoys and Fresh Boys not packed but still several clients and lots of boys to choose from. as answered by spoon already . no A/C for 5 baht . some trains have A/C carriages but price will be much higher . There are multliple trains during the day but there are gaps in service so trains are not suitable for all flights. I had very good luck with few minutes waiting but had I miss that train next one was in about 90 minutes. There are also vans every 30 minutes from DMK to MOR Chit bus station and Victory Monument / separate line / , cost is either 100 or 130 , don't remember exactly

No problem with immigration lines at DMK last Sunday when I returned from Cambodia, luggage arrived almost at the same time when I approached carousel so no problems whatsoever as far as I can see. As a bonus , I went to the railway station across and in 7 minutes train from Surin was on the platform taking me to Halampomg in 50 minutes for a whole 5 baht.

Since on the subject I agreed with Firecat for years I did nor even try to off anybody from there but after receiving few encouraging signals from trusted sources I decided to give them a try again , visited bar as much as 4 times on my trip which just finished because I like their show and looks if assembled staff and yes offed boy from there and no one less then before mentioned Mekhin. Experience while not spectacular at least was positive enough so in future certainly I will be trying again, both him and few others who made some impression on me . I liked look of #42 , 47 mentioned by xiluzer looks semi-godly indeed and made good impression on me because after talking to xiluzer he was polite enough to sat thank you and shake my hand just only I was sitting right beside. So it looks there may be some improvement As for Mekhin definitely he did not show any attitude and up close did not even make an impression that he is so massive as he looks from the stage. Asked where he learned English he said " at Tawan, Tawan university " laughing. Was not very active, I guess he is used to get hired for just a body worship but it suited me quite well so my personal experiments with both offing him and returning to offing from Jupiter was successful enough and encouraging to try that again.

Having your hand luggage thoroughly inspected my happen on every border and if you want really see unsmiling border staff try either USA or Russia and you will be rewarded.
