  1. If anyone is looking at the state of US politics thinking the economy is the biggest factor in 2024 rather than the attack on democracy being perpetrated by the GOP and Trump then they deserve everything that would happen if Trump, or the GOP in any way, got in.
  2. If by messaging you mean obvious lies and by better you mean an audience too stupid to understand they are being lied to.
  3. Not sure how relevant that is to the situation now. Trump has a far higher number of core voters who would vote for him even if he raped and murdered a 9 year old on 5th Avenue in broad daylight. Biden is a bad candidate and any centre democrat is going to garner more votes from the centre left and right than Biden is which is the area Biden needs to pick up votes or lose.
  4. More a 3rd party candidate who would hand 2024 election to Trump. Manchin would take far more votes from Dems and Independents than from the Trump core.
  5. To you everyone must seem radical left.
  6. Under all jurisdictions I suspect you'd need a lot more evidence than are contained in the articles I've read here. Out of interest, i've just checked the exclusions for my last holiday. The main ones I would see catching people out are excessive alcohol consumption and not wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle which is another big cause of insurance not paying out. Again though, the articles are very carefully written and avoid allocating blame for what happened.
  7. Even if UK courts could get jurisdiction, good luck getting it through the legal system in any timely manner to help in this circumstance.
  8. Proving your point? The image was more on point and accurate than the complete bollocks you've been posting since the thread started.
  9. Is there a different article to that linked? The one linked is very careful in its language and doesn't call it an accident saying it remains unclear what happened and who was with him.
  10. If the US does go into a slight recession given the state of the world economies and the efforts to bring down inflation, only someone with the IQ of a potato could think that is somehow worse than the onslaught on human rights, the attempted coup, the refusal to accept an obvious defeat, the attempts to steal an election (including both Georgia and Arizona), the theft of TS documents and showing to people with no clearance, the sexual assaults and the constant lies.
  11. Not newspapers but articles from the BBC on Taiwan's pride festival this year and in previous years: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-41788869 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-37811442 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-50193936 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-53212693 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-50193431
  12. What I said: What you claimed I said: It's not a quote when you take the answer to one question and put it to a completely different question to make it seem I said something other than I did. In future, paste accurate quotes and not your fabrications. It's quite obvious from my previous posts, fake quotes from you aside, that I don't believe either are newsworthy in the others domain.
  13. You could literally write that every year until it happens.
  14. I never would ask that, I wouldn't expect it to be & wouldn't find it noteworthy if it wasn't.
  15. Please save us from the full list of places you won't go to.
  16. Why would Taipei's pride festival get mentioned in UK newspapers?
  17. At this point it's apparent that many of Trump's crimes are so egregious that he must be punished to the fullest extent of the law. He had the option of taking a deal on many of them but is convinced he is above the law. Time for it to be proved that no one is above the law.
  18. I'm sure they'll miss you.
  19. It isn't possible with the electoral system in place and the rank stupidity of the majority of voters. It's time for the democrats to throw away the rulebook and take on the GOP at their own game.
  20. The direction of SCOTUS has now been set for a generation or more. These actions are thin thin edge of a very big wedge. Anyone thinking it's gays that have "gone too far" are the same idiots that got the US into this mess. Things are going to get a whole lot worse. There's no point fighting it through a highly biased court, direct action on businesses who discriminate is the way to go.
