  1. Agate : very nice and quiet room, I liked the breakfast. I'll book this hotel once again during my next trip.
  2. I’ve planned a short one week trip to Thailand to relax a bit after some months of hard work in Europe. First part is planned in Pattaya (Agate hotel) and the last days in Bangkok (Raya Surawong hotel). Part 1 : Pattaya I had a very comfortable 11 hour direct flight with Thai Airways. As I had the front row, I had extra leg space and that is nice to have. However, my left feet was itching all the time. Arrived around 6AM at the airport, immigration took only 15 minutes and my taxi to Pattaya was waiting for me. I prefer to stay in the Jomtien Complex, but not in the Zing as last time. Agate Hotel is indeed a lot better, but more expensive. The room is very nice. When undressing in my room, I notice the itching on my feet was caused by an infection. So first thing is to visit this website and search the keyword “hospital” to see a doctor. Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya has really good quality service. Very friendly staff guides you as soon as you arrive. Doctors and nurses are really caring about their patients. Doctor has a look, does some small surgery and suggests me to stay overnight, which I refuse, so I get some antibiotics and a new appointment the next day for checkup. The bandage on my foot makes walking difficult and the doctors message is “no water, no sand”. The rest of day 1, I spend near the hotel in the Jomtien Complex. As I’m not allowed to have water on my feet, this excludes showering before and after massage. Excellent dinner at Poseidon : a 3-way course with a drink for about 500 baht. I really love this chef! Afterwards a drink in one of the bars, where a boy named Soda recognises me from last time, so we have a drink together. Not into offing today, so back to the hotel to rest. Day 2 starts with hospital visit. Luckily no further complications, so daily wound care is all I need for the rest of my trip. In the early evening I invite Soda to my room. Nice time together and 1.000 bath well spent. Going to Boystown afterwards. Visited most of the bars, and stayed quite long in X-boys as I liked the show. Day 3 is for Sunee. Winner was a bit disappointing but as drink price is only 79 baht I don’t mind having a look, didn’t enter Eros as I didn’t find the boys attractive. Had fun in Nice Boys and the bar just besides. The boy I had invited to sit with me even suggested a 3-some with one of the other boys. But I wasn’t in the mood tonight, so I didn’t off anyone.
  3. Eros was open tonight, but I only took a short look to see that no boys were of interest to me. Winner had a lot of clients, so number of available boys was not that big.
  4. I'm in Agate now and I really like it. It's certainly not a gay only hotel, but gay friendly. Have been in Zing before, but Agate is better.
  5. For me it is : Pattaya : 21 - 23 January Bangkok : 24 - 26 January

  7. I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in LOS at the end of January!
  8. I'm thinking of visiting Helios on my next trip in January. Is there anything else to do in soi day/night? Never been there.
  9. In Jomtien Complex, there is a gym next to the Zing hotel.
  10. Eat Me Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in the Silom area. It has a great chef. International cuisine. Quite pricey compared to street food
  11. Pattaya is better for twinks. You should try the Jomtien complex.
  12. Yes, they perform well. But remember they are the ones who are willing to do the extras. So if it is the very very best massage you are looking for, they are a bit below that level. But I always have been very satiesfied about massages in Arena.

    Very sad news RIP Lurker
  14. What happens in Vegas, should stay in Vegas. What happens on another forum, should stay there. Don't open topics about it here.
  15. Go to Jomtien Complex in the late afternoon. Plenty of boys available to have a drink with you or to give you a massage.
  16. Anyone been to Bhutan recently? I'm considering it in my 2018/2019 travel plans.
  17. What happens in Vegas, should stay in Vegas. What happens on Sawatdee forum, should stay on Sawatdee forum.
  18. You will probably be shocked how many have never been to Vinapu (the "real" place on the other side of the planet, not the hotel room of our forum member). I've been there, and Vinapu too. But who else?
  19. I was in Siem Reap and really liked Angkor temples, which were the main reason for my visit. I visited also other things, such as a landmine museum. I had a massage in a shop just outside the city center of Siem Reap. OK, but limited choice. My advice would be: go to Cambodia for its history and sightseeing, but visit Pattaya for having sex with cute Cambodian boys.
  20. I hired a cute and gay guide from Siamroads in Siem Reap because I prefer a private guide over a group tour (where you loose a lot of time because of waiting for the last one to be back on the bus). I hired a cute and gay guide because I prefer company of a young man. So why hire an old fat ugly lady who charges you the same amount?
