It has been the most fascinating political horse race I have ever followed. With very little sleep, I consider myself lucky I have any fingernails left.
I prepared myself for Democrat failure. It's a wacky world, so poles and predictions be damned. Plus, it's Georgia. I never have any faith in the south, especially with voter response to Black politicians.
This past year of politics has been the most depressing. And now we have the sedition caucus. DISGUSTING! Strip them naked. Tar and feather them all. A black stain forever on American democracy.
I know far too many people who are seriously suffering. Most friends in my circle are self-employed. Almost everyone lost their job overnight, thanks to Trump's mishandling of Covid. Every single person I know with a career on Broadway has been out of work for months.
Today there is light. There is hope.
A big FUCK YOU to Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. Stacey Abrams deserves some serious love from the Biden administration. I'm praying Sally Yates becomes Attorney General.

Holy Shit. The Lincoln Project just released a new slap-in-your-face, kick-in-the-gut ad, called Cancer. Superbly powerful.
The ad is a bit late in the game. I hope it doesn't go to waste. Every Trump cult member should see it, although many profess that they would die for Trump. There's no hope for them.

Honestly, when I heard the news, the first thing that came to mind knowing what a liar and Fraud this President is was that this whole things was a scam cooked up by the White House to gain Sympathy for the President, since his popularity since the debate has plumetted with a majority of Americans for his outrageous behavior and embracing of the Proud Boys...
It was/is obvious Trump is oozing DESPERATION, and NEEDS to win re-election to avoid prosecution and possibly jail for his mis-deeds, so I wouldnt put it past him and his team to "cook up" this shady, nefarious scheme to win him public sympathy and support.....  OR at the very least PIVOT attention away from the Debate and his words and performance.  It also could give him a reason to request to postpone the election (which he originally wanted to do anyway).....   I just DONT TRUST this mutherfucker.....  He's a scheming slimeball
And IF he really does has Covid.... GREAT !, it couldnt happen to a more despicable and Deserving person....  Poor Melania...SHE deserves better though.
I guess the Covid HOAX is on Trump !!!!!!!    (maybe?)

Surviving is not the major concern, at least for me. It looks like about 40% of infected, even when having very mild symptoms, develops heart pathologies, some of them life threatening even for the younger.

Feelings are nice to have, but facts are more important in epidemiology. COVID cases and deaths are, in all likelihood, underreported.
The conspiracy theory that you refer to (pushed by right wing media) has been debunked by nonpartisan fact check organizations.

LOL! I see your point. The photo of Hitler could be Photoshopped. I have not researched its authenticity. If the photo is Photoshopped, it's fake news I can tolerate. The juxtaposition is far more precious than Trump's birther campaign of Obama.
Apparently, conservative news reports of Trump's army gassing peaceful protesters so that he could accomplish this disgusting photo-op are blowing up in his face. Trump is the biggest asshole, whiny little Bitch, and the incompetent jerks around him are no better. Conservatives know that Trump has ZERO relationship with the Bible, and conservative preachers are looking at his act as sacrilegious, as they should.
This is a must-read from George Will in today's Washington Post:
Trump must be removed. So must his congressional enablers.

You won't get beach or sun in Bogota. Always cloudy and cool. Medellin is more a tourist mecca with constant sun, warmth and hotel pools. The Caribbean coast is very sunny and beach but less gay life. Bogota is easiest for hook ups, Medellin has better looking guys and is so-so for hookups.

I did not see the price list. And I am referring to its usage in Colombia and my experience talking to guys in Bogota and in Medellin, or I would not have weighed in. In all cases, morbo was used to mean kinky, such as watersports. It would be strange indeed if it was commonly used both ways, but I guess not impossible. Thanks for providing a reference to evidence, as I agree with your interpretation of the price list--kink would indeed be expected to command a higher price.
Using Scruff to search locally in Bogota, I do find many guys who include morbo as a clear indicator of kink, including references to: bondage, watersports, domination and humiliation, blow-and-go, and even k9, complete with doggy emojis. But I also do find some that seem to be using it to mean affectionate. Confusing, and maybe can be chalked up to a high percentage of tourists/immigrants there, although one of the kinkiest guys identifies himself as native Bogotano. Maybe it's one of those things where you just have to pay attention to the context.

If you are 60 or older, and meet Mecico's financial requirements for monthly income and savings you can skip the 4 year TEMPORARY VISA And go right to permanent status. As a side benefit my Brazilian boyfriend is joining me there!

"What the hell is it with people who think they can judge another's whole life based on a few words on an anonymous message board?"
    You missed the facts.
In the case of this individual asking about a DNR, he is at a high age.  He lives in a nursing home and is chronically ill.  He admitted in a prior post that he recently sat for days in his own feces because he could not help himself or get help.  Do you really think that he has joy living as he described himself in his prior posts?
If he were to die naturally, as nature intends for us all, his miserable existence would be finished.
On the other hand, if he insists on heroic measures to keep him alive with machines and feeding tubes and machines and/or other means, what purpose is served?
What quality of life will he have living artificially?
You wrote,  "This is what you get. If you want to cut yours short, by all means, be my guest."  Having a DNR order is not cutting life short.  Refusing a DNR lets nature do its intended purpose.
As I said earlier, nature is wonderful.  It takes its course and usually works quite well.

Those who read this forum regularly know that I have a 2nd home in Merida Yucatan, Mexico.  I have been asked many times  why Merida? what's the gay life like there? Costs to live there? etc?   I, like many people had never heard of Merida(it is 90 miles west of Cancun).  Florida Rob on this site is a good friend of mine for close to 15 years and he had moved there and opened a restaurant and told me I should visit him.  His stories about how all the guys in Merida "are gay or if they aren't they want to be" lol, sounded so over the top that I wanted to go and find out.
Merida is the capital of the state of Yucatan and has a population of over !,000,000  It is considered the safest city in Mexico as it is not a route for drugs to the U.S. Unlike Cancun, there has been no killings, robberies assaults of Americans/Canadians.   The city has a expat community of  approximately 5,000+ Americans and even greater number of Canadians!  Canadians seem to have discovered Merida years ago as a 6 month winter get away that was very inexpensive.  It is also the number one city for Medical tourism in Mexico.
Merida has a International airport(MID) and has direct service from Houston on United,  Miami on American and Atlanta on Delta. It is about a 1-1/2 hr flight from either Houston or Miami.  Airfare from SoCal to Merida is usually just under $400.r/t
The Centro part of Merida has the Historic Homes that are over 100 years to 200 years old.  This is the area where most of the foreigners have bought homes as the younger Mexicans would rather move to the new suburbs rather then in the town center where their grandparents lived.  Merida is about 20 miles from the beach area which really doesn't have any major hotels...Yet.  but a 4 mile long pier was built to accommodate cruise ships.  you can still buy individual private homes on the beach for $300,000.
The city is dominated by one of the oldest churches in the Americas, built in the 1500's   the park in front of the Cathedral is where all the activities take place every night in Merida, with music, dances, food fairs, and a number of hustlers always there.
the photo of the guy is one of the strippers at one of the four gay bars, who often swings by in the late afternoon on his way to work to ask if I want to do anything. if I say no not today he goes "ok will check with you tomorrow".  He is tall compared to most as he is 6'1", he is from a village about a 100 miles away.

I just got back from a couple of weeks in Medellin and I can't say enough about the quality of boys there. I didn't feel the need to visit any saunas or pay for escorts as Grindr kept me busy for most of my stay. I found lots of young men appreciate the experience of older men and would make the first move to set up a date. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer them.

I am currently in Medellin for the 5th time. I agree that the best place to meet guys is on manhunt or Grindr. I have a basic knowledge of Spanish which helps for meeting people as about 90% do not speak English. I am due to return next week and will give a report then. if anyone has questions I will try to answer them while here.
