  1. I thought Ferchos closed down. I was there last year and it was closed. Did it move or.... ?
  2. morbo means kissing, touching, body contact, rubbing. It does not mean kinky or morbid.
  3. If you only have 11 days, I would stay a week in Medellin and 4 days in Bogota. I went this past spring for the first time and did not enjoy Bogota at all, but loved Medellin. Bogota was big, cold, and it was difficult to meet people. Theatron was fun, but it it a mix crowd and the music is terribly loud making it almost impossible to meet guys if you don't speak spanish. Most people there weren't looking to hook up with a foreigner either. they were busy having fun with friends. Gigilos, Riobard said, was also very loud. I had to shout the little spanish that I know in waiter's ear and couldn't hear is response ever. They also tried to take advantage of me many times by not bring the right change, charging me more than they should have and so on. I waited for 2.5 hours and still didn't see anyone naked. The two booths with a curtain are so dark I wouldn't enjoy taking someone in there. I was really disappointed. I didn't go to the baths. I stayed in Chapinero and while it was interesting, was kind of disappointed with it overall. The several gay bars that are by parque de los hippies are very small and were either empty or jam packed. I did meet up with a couple of guys there that I met online and one through Grindr. Medellin, on the other hand, was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. I wasn't impressed by the gay bars. they were also small, too loud, or jammed packed, but the weather, scenery, things to do, and guys I met were awesome. It takes a little work to meet guys, but you can easily through grindr or miloerotico. I stayed in 2 airbnbs. Both had security personnel at the apartment entrance but I had no problem bringing guys back. If you there's nothing in the airbnb listing about not being able to have visitors, they can't stop you. You rented the place. They can't make up stuff after the fact. There are a few listing in Medellin that say no say no prostitution in their listing, but I avoided those. There are plenty of others. Again, you'll enjoy Medellin much more than Bogota in my opinion. I'm Canadian as well Good luck
  4. Hey SnowBird: The guy in picture #4 is exactly my type. You wouldn't happen to still have his contact info would you? Also, do you have the names of some decent love motels for medellin? Thanks man. J
  5. Hi: Can anyone tell me if I should be worried about altitude sickness when going to Bogota for the first time? I understand that you can take Diamox (Acetazolamide) to help prevent it. Does anyone know if it is easily available in Colombian pharmacies? Finally, the el Dorado airport website says there is a pharmacy in arrivals. Would anyone know if you can buy it there? Thanks.
  6. Do the guys in Medellin usually want to use condoms for oral sex though? Do you have to negotiate ahead of time if you want a blow job without a condome? What is the standard? Thanks.
  7. Ya. I had chaturbate send me a warning after chatting with some Colombians through the platform. Someone must have reported me for asking about meeting with them in person. Plus, most of the hot guys are making a ton of money each day camming; quite a bit more than they could make escorting. Several told me this. Others, want hundreds or even thousand of tokens just for their Whats App to talk to them. All in all, I've spent a lot of time on Chaturbate looking for potential guys to meet up with, with not much success.
  8. I'm on the mailing list too. They now send a voice message every week to describe what's happening on Friday or Saturday. Yes. The guy seems lazy to respond in writing. The voice messages are in Spanish. I think they'd do better if they offered one in English as well. I wasn't too impressed with the guys in the catalogue. I asked him to expand his base. lol....
  9. Hey Guys. Is Uber fine to use in Bogota and Medellin as well? I don't have it now, but will get it if you all think it is better than taxi in these cities. Thanks in advance!
  10. Okay. I'm going to Medellin and don't really want to bring guys back to my airbnb. Where are the "sex hotels" that I've read about on the Colombia forums. I've heard enough about the area around calle 57, so don't want to go to any of the bars, baths, or sex hotels there. If anyone can give specific names of places or areas that safe, I'd appreciate it.
  11. I have been Cuba many times with the last time being January. I'm not going to go back. Things have gotten really bad. Most of the guys in the bim bom area, Toke Park, and Vegas are straight and often say they'll do things and end up not doing them. They come up with the wildest excuses. The deceit has gotten really bad. Sometimes they will demand more money than what was agreed upon. They'll come up with something like "well that was just for ....." Most guys will go throw your things if you let them. They ask for everything. I've had many items stolen too. It seems as all the guys talk and exchange 'ways of doing things" because their strategies to get more money, win sympathy, etc., are strikingly similar. Any sex that does happen and is enjoyed, is aggravated by what happens after. If you go to one of the other gay bars, Mixto, St John's on Monday, or Cafe Cantante on Saturday, you will inundated with guys being friendly to you only because they want free drinks. These places have more gay guys than pingueros, but the gay guys are bad and just taking advantage of you for drinks and end up walking away after they gotten what they could. This has happened to me many, many times over the years, but they are getting particularly aggressive at doing it now. Many gay guys won't even go to bim bom, the Toke park, or Vegas anymore. They don't want anyone who might see them thinking that there is a pinguero. There are a few who don't care, but a lot of gay guys won't go in this area anymore. As a result, it is now mostly straight guys looking to make money without having to really do anything. The police know this, and police presence has increased substantially in these areas. The cops often won't even let people sit on the steps at Infanta y calle 23. It has gotten really bad and I'm very disappointed about it. I have a list of guys that I can call when I go, but even the ones who were nice previously and constantly asking for things (in addition to the money you agree upon) and using new stories as a strategy of getting them. Also, no matter what you give them, they seem to always ask for more. Time for me to travel elsewhere.
  12. I'm Canadian, and from what I read on government websites there is no requirement for Canadians to get a yellow fever vaccination when travelling to and from Colombia. My questions to you guys are: Should I get one anyway? Will I be at risk in Bogota and Medellin? Is there any other vaccination or health consideration that I should be concerned about? Thanks.
  13. Make sure that Google Translate will work offline on your phone before you travel and need to rely on it. For some strange reason, it won't work offline on my good android phone, but work offline on my cheaper android phone. Just a heads up. If anybody knows why it might not work on my good phone, please let me know!
