  1. >If you are the "real" Lucky we sure can use someone >with your knowledge, sincerity and respectability to add value >to this forum. > >-FourAces Let me join with FourAces in saying welcome. Any forum not only needs people with diverse opinions but also only succeeds when it has them. Not everyone will agree with what I say or do and not everyone will agree with TY or Barry. If they did, it would be a very boring world. There is a great new Showtime series called Weeds. I love the song in the beginning as it talks about the houses in the burbs all made of ticky tack and all looking the same. How horrible. I love diversity and those with different opinions.
  2. >Surely one of the best hotels in the world is the Suriwong >Hotel in Bangkok. It's there when you really need it. One thing about good hotels Lucky is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. I don't think many have a better location for me than the Suriwong.
  3. A new version of the site would most likely carry all the reviews that Daddy worked on for the past year and 4 months. He did the work for them and that is partially his work product. That information did flow through the domain and the property of the estate but they reaped the rewards of Daddy's work for 16 months. I am not sure what arrangements were made between the two parties, as I was not privy to any of it. I have to assume that the estate ceded the reviews to Daddy effective when he started posting his copyright on them after taking over site operations. I know that Daddy will open up a site and has the database of escorts and reviewers. That will help him to start the site on the right foot. I would also think he has a legitimate claim to the reviews he posted over the last year. Both of the above is possibly litigable unless there were any written agreements. As far as the ISP, the servers were hosted with Daddy and if you look at the whois records, you will see they are still on the same DNS server. I would assume that Daddy was talking about bandwidth. If so, I am not sure what contracts needed to be signed. It would depend on the company he was using for his bandwidth. Bandwidth is not free and must be paid for. I wish Daddy the best of luck with a new site and his new adventure. When you do something new, it is often very stressful and a hell of a lot of work. Good luck to him and Deej in making the site a success. Oz

That seems to be a generolus challenge for a worthy cause. Looks like Hedda is willing to put his money where his posting are. Any takers?
  5. On the other forum, I have read with interest about the opening of Topman Bar. My how I wish I was there to see it in person. What I find most amazing is that LMTU posts a very long post that is not harsh or mean in his mind. He often tries to tutor people in the way he thinks things should be run. The more that is made out of the posts and the more he relishes in it. He doesn
  6. I called the magazine and asked them the same question. I wanted to why the Duville was not on the list. I have used that great establishment in the past and always marveled that the city of NY did not put in on one list or another.
  7. Finally, Lance admits it. Way to go! http://et.tv.yahoo.com/newslink/15297/
  8. In Montreal as we speak. It is Out games and Gay Pride and the boy candy on the streets is amazing. I had a great time last night at Taboo, the gogo bar and also checked out Adonis. The first boy I had a private dance with last night was from Laso. Amazing that one flys half way around the world and ends up with someone very similar to what they left isn't it? I had a great nightcap with a sexy boy who I have been seeing for over 4 years. He is now at least 25, looks like a Bel Ami model and I fall in love with his eyes when I gaze at them. He is sweet, sexy and adorable. I had great fun with him. As for my Puppy dog, I have adopted 3 or them that I flew out of Thailand. They are a true pain in the ass at times but I left them with family while I am in Montreal for 2 weeks. I am not so sure the puppy in Thailand is pining for me so much as the ATM card he had for over one year. hehe. But, he is the one that NEVER went over on it and never asked for anything special. He is an amazing guy with a great mind and a sweet heart. I am sure he will find a new Farang that is more to what he is looking for. Puppy dog eyes seem to attract the most attention.
  9. I don't know about his financial status but, I do know he is being paid to write. I once offered him 5k baht to put my cell phone number in a variety of Karoke places (I go to bed early and can't stay up when those places are open). The next week I had over 200 calls asking if I was the person who was offering a good time (most said it was scribbled on the bathroom wall). As over 198 of them were Farangs, I said no. Next time I'll tell him to write the message in Thai.
  10. Hello Pattaya. Hello Cat. Hello boys. Hello all. I am perfectly fine and dandy and having a much needed rest. I was in Spain for a couple of weeks in one of my favorite cities. I was in Amsterdam for one night and now back in the USA. I am only here for a day or two and then I go to Canada for Gay Pride and the Out Games. I am not really sure where I'll end up after that. My mind tells me to go to Paris where it is constantly stimulated. My heart tells me to go back to Thailand where it is on a constant roller coaster ride. My dick tells me to go to Brazil where it feels right at home. My fingers tell me to go to Spain where I get the least amount of work done and don't spend as much time on the computer. My inner voice tells me that Mexico is calling my name. Fearful to listen to her when it comes to Mexico I may just compromise and go to Las Vegas. It is the desert you know? Same Same? The most likely scenario is that I'll be carried off by a swarm of angry butterflys. Or, I'll just flip a coin.
  11. It should not be possible for any moderator to edit postings. However, I have put this question to the programming team and will find out for you. I have never edited a post on here. I have deleted a few.
  12. I have only made it to 5 on the list. I visited many of the websites for the hotels on the list. They look great. I always prefer the big city hotels to the resorts and many of these are spa type places and all inclusive retreats. Although most of my favorite hotels did not make it on that list and will never be there, I like the intimacy of a smaller type of hotel. In Phuket, I like the Baan Yan Dee. In Bangkok, I like the Four Seasons and the Intercontinental. In Paris, I like the Intercontinental. In Kalua Lampur, I like the Ritz Carlton. In Rio, I like the Copa Palace. And in Sao Paulo I like the La Goa. Oops. Sorry, see how easily I get sidetracked.

  14. I resent (or resemble) that remark. I have done this too in the past. It always works well for me. I had one boy take more than his share but last year I had one boy that was in charge of the ATM card and never once took anything more than he was supposed to. I also guess I learned a lesson from the first guy. I find this method of leaving money for "boy special" the best. But, it is to each his own.
  15. Trojans? What about those Magnums? jk I do find it very sad that one man and his wife have given more to research for this that most countries. Being in a foreign land this week, I had a yearing for American TV. I downloaded Murder One from Itunes.com. I loved the show. It was made in the mid 1990's. There was a guy that was infected with HIV as a lead character. Just watching him and remembering the reactions that many had to this show and others, I found it sad that we have not come a long way from there in finding a cure.

  17. Thanks guys! We appreciate it very much. How are things at PJ's Place? Keep up the great work and we hope to see you this fall.
  18. On the same topic, there is a great article in the New York Times today about the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/20/science/...=rssnyt&emc=rss The new round of grants are 250 million dollars. With their previous donations that makes the foundations grants over 500 million dollars. Considering the US government put up only 6 times this number, it isn't strange to me that no vaccine has been found.
  19. Hello all. Stef worked very hard to get the ban lifted inside Thailand. We are not going to let all his hard work go to waste. We will be more careful in what photos are posted on the site and delete any questionable images. One of the first posts today was a post which contained a link to a porn site. This is not the type of site material we want. We have said all along that we want the site to be an informational guide. Inappropriate posts will be deleted and the poster will be banned. Sorry guys, but that is the way it will be. Bitch, moan, and complain all you want. We will not let a few guys who have an agenda to cause problems for the rest. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. The GayThailand.com Team
  20. As of today, the site now has 800 escort profiles and over 4600 members. Thanks to all who are working to make the site a success from the message board posters, to the reviewers to the escorts who found the site to TY who keeps things running smoothly. I think a great future is in store for the site.
  21. I had the pleasure of seeing this movie today. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first heard about it but I had wanted to see it. I was very impressed with the way it was made and the great job the directors put things together. If you have not heard of the movie, it is Al Gore's easy to explain Global Warming movie. I was taken into the story from the firstt momen and it kept my attention to the end. I was suprised as I saw the movie with a lot of people who do not speak English as their first language and they were all captivated by it as well. If you get a chance, see this one!
  22. I am planning a trip to Mexico. This will be my first trip there in many years. I plan on spending about 4 weeks. What are the cities you recommend? Any nice gay areas? Any places I should avoid? Thanks. Oz
  23. I think it most depends on the kind of event that you are talking about. What is the event for? Are there others there with you? I have never met him or the guys with Cobra. I know his DVD's sold like hotcakes and once the issues occurred all porn guys immediately took them from the shelves and it was a major hassle for all concerned. I don't think people hate him anymore than the guys at Cobra.
  24. Sure. The best is www.ounique.com They provide the legal documentation you need with the sets. The new ones are around 40 each. Some other places are: http://www.adultlegal.com http://www.nevest.net http://www.gayanimecontent.com http://www.exclusivecontent.com/ http://ounique.com/ Also look at the webmasters area on www.menonthenet.com Good luck! Oz
  25. HaHa That about sums up my view as well. Growing up in the Bible belt, I was more than a bit religious when I was younger. What I have seen is that the Thai's I have met are often more spiritual than religious. The difference between kindness and love and gentleness are abundant in most Thai's I know. I have a great admiration for their religion. However, when I get on an airplane, I still say a short prayer from my childhood.
