  1. I have brought several American boys over to Thailand in the last year. All of them said before they came that they were not into Asian boys and would be looking for other farangs. However, within a day or two, all that changed. Most of them fell in love with the guys there and had a great time. They did not spend time looking for other farang guys as they learned more and were able to experience the culture more with the Thais. All are now back in the USA and all write to me every week wanting to come back to Thailand. Each had a great time and said that it was one of the most special places on earth. One guy did take a 6 week backpacking trip through Laso, Cambodia and Vietnam. He took a bus from Bangkok and during the trip met up with several other backpackers. He saw all the major sites of all 3 countries and for the entire 6 week journey spent only 300 US for All expenses. He was not looking for dates on the trip but he made great friends with many guys and girls from Australia and USA and France amoung other places. There are many other farangs out there. You will find them if you look in the right places. They are not in the gogo bars. Look in the hostels. Look in the dance clubs in Bangkok. But, most of all, just have a great time.
  2. Yes and no. They were much easier to deal with on an emotional level. They were much more needy on a time level. It is not easy to find good hotels that accept pets. Actually, it is a pain in ass. I am in Canada at the end of the month and have found that The W hotels have wonderful services for pets and even provide pet walking, pet sitting and treats for the animals. http://www.starwoodhotels.com/promotions/p...?category=WPETS I never thought a hotel would offer a dog bed in the room, but I guess the world has changed a lot over time.
  3. Thanks so much for the great posts. I really enjoyed reading your adventures. Thailand is magical and wonderful. I have enjoyed so many trips over there in the past few years. I just hope that others read your story and decide to take a chance on a trip. The place is magical and wonderful. Thank you for such great reads!
  4. I think I have read writing like this before. Were your ashes just shot out of a cannon? JK Thanks for the advice. Well worded and heeded. When I had a 5 year lover that I broke up with in NYC, I took a trip. I told my mother that I felt like I was running away from my problems. She said, "perhaps you are not running away as much as you are running toward something new." That stuck with me. That is what I did., OK. Plus, I love the Spanish guys and I love Barcelona in the summer and have spent a lot of time there and the trip was desired.
  5. Traveling with Pets is a ROYAL pain in the ass. I have 3 dogs that are puppies. They are adorable and the sweetest things on earth. I didn't realize how difficult they were going to be to travel with. First, there is an air cargo embargo July 1, through Sept 15 that prohibits all animals from being below in cargo on NWA/KLM flights. The only option is to have them in the cabin with you. As my dogs are small enough, they were able to ride with me. However, as I had 3 of them, you are only allowed to take 2 with you. There is usually a but. But, you can take 3 if you buy an extra seat for the other one. That is what I did. I arranged everything with NWA and had all my documents in hand. I arrived at the airport on time and was told that I did not have an export license. I needed one to take the dogs out of the county. As I was at the airport, I wanted to board and tried everything possible. I called the Platinum Elite Line who had a record of our conversation that I had all documents required. They were the ones that told me what to get from the Vet and I had overlying in a binder ready to board. The NWA agent at Bangkok could not let them through customs. Therefore, I was denied entry to the plane. I had to wait 2 days until the Animal Quarantine Station opened. It is at Customs Terminal 2 at Bangkok Airport, Floor 3, and room 308. You must take with you all information on the dogs including all vaccines and rabies shots. You must also have a letter from your doctor about the health of the animals. I had it all. Or, so I thought. The doctor in Pattaya had not put one date on the vaccine for one animal. All the dates were the same for all animals but that date was not there. Luckily, I had a driver from Phon and Gems Car Service that told me what was needed, called the Vet and faxed into the office. They received the fax and the vet visit began. Another guy came over and said the fax said my dog was a poodle and it was a Maltese. So, the driver had to call the Vet again and have them refax the document. If I had not had an English-speaking driver, I would have been dead in the water. The guy from Phons was a real Gem. He was wonderful and helpful and helped me make it through a 5 days day in Bangkok. The office hours say the animal control center is open from 10 till 4:30. That is correct. However, if you go between 12 and 1, it is closed for lunch. Every paper has to be there, ever t crossed and every i dotted. If you miss one thing, you won't get approved for export. A vet checks the animal and takes a picture of you with each animal. You fill out papers in triplicate. After all that is done, they do the paperwork and then you pay 50baht per animal and get the Export License. It is a long day. There were people in and out in 1 hour. Some were longer. Anyone that had anything missing from paperwork was sent away. We were allowed to board the next day. NWA/KLM were amazing with the dogs. They even upgraded me free to Business Class and let my dogs go too. I was so happy.
  6. When someone posts something personal, it is always open to the public's bitchy nature. In Thailand, I think there are more bitches that frequent the boards than in most places. I think this board is an exception. We have a good place where people can come and share information. I love the fast that I can get good information on Thailand, without the nasty queens coming out to moan and groan. If you take a look at the other board, they are already on the attack. Some people really do love to see others misery. I am not one of those people. I never want to see another farang or boy unhappy or in a hurtful situation. There are those that really love to see me in pain. Fuck em. I may not post the most personal details as I did in this post too often in the future as I have said I would not do this again. But, after I got an e-mail from LMTU, I knew the day after there were many talking and rumors floating about. I wanted to stop the gossip from those who did not know what was happening and tried to stop the fire instead of allowing it to burn. Otherwise, I would not have made this post at all. Perhaps a little restraint in my next big post will be observed. GayButton has always given me good advice and Hedda reminds me of my mother. She doesn't always say what you want to hear but is usually right. I think some of her past posts predicted this was about to come. As I said before, I had a great time. As I said on another board, I still care for these guys and hope to be friendly with them. Not a client again, but on friendly terms. I wish them best of luck. I have NOT given up on the Land of Smiles. I love it there. I tend to have a pattern with all boyfriends. When I break up, I leave the country for a few weeks or months. I do this not to get away from them but to allow them to move on with their life and get started into a new routine. I gave every boy that left a kiss and told them goodbye. I hope I left on good enough terms to be friendly with them in the future. I did not leave for good. I just left for a while. They needed a break from me and I needed a break from them. Since I have a few million frequent flyer miles, it is easy for me to fly away and take a vacation. That is what I did.
  7. I don't need to wait for that answer. Yes, the ride was worth the fall. I had an amazing time. Perhaps the best time of my life. Life is like a roller coaster. It has it ups and downs. I love the ups and the downs are always tolerable as I know there is another up coming up soon. I love the ride.
  8. I don't think it is fading. I do think that the more time one spends there, the more picky they become. I know this is my case. When I first visisted, I could find 20 boys in every bar I liked. Now, I am luckly if I find one. I don't think the boys have changed as much as I have. Also, the beach has been dead. I went many days and it totally sucked. I didn't find one guy I liked there. It seems they are all home and not in Pattaya.
  9. All good things must come to an end. Hedda asked in another post when my spending spree was going to stop. Well, it has stopped. I have finished. Elvis has left the building so to speak and as his ring said TCB. That is what I did. I took care of business. I had several boys living with me for a long time. My main rules are, no other farang, no lies and no yabba. If they follow those rules, other things are no problem. Living in the lap of a luxurious home, I had a great life. A swimming pool. Tons of boys. Many farang friends. It was a good life. A few nights ago, that life came to a halt. I found out that all but one of my boys had been doing Yabba. I was stunned. I was sad. Not only was this my major rule for anyone staying with me, it was also something that could have landed me in major trouble. I do not want to be anywhere near that stuff. Why did I let all this happen? Stupidity. Not anyone
  10. LOL Thank you! This made me laugh so much today. After spending 2 hours discussing a phone line with TTT for the 69th time, your post calmed me down. Thanks. They are worn out. They are falling apart. But, they are like old friends. No matter how uncomfortable things become, you still adore them.
  11. I have not been in the closet for years. I have not had my closets full for even more years. I hate shopping for myself in the fashion most shop. I don't have nice clothes and shoes. I wear the same sandals for the past 3 years. I have the same shirts for the same amount of time. So, I conserve when it comes to shopping for myself. I do enjoy shopping for my boyfriends but have learned it is better to give them the cash and let them go and buy themselves than for me to buy for them. My beds are now full but the closets still have space. hehe I think everyone chooses what to do with their money. I don't drink and spend money on booze. I don't eat at fancy restaurants. I don't travel as much as I like. I don't own my own place in Thailand. I choose to spend my money on a gaggle of laughter and fun. Not sure how long it will last. I get bored easy. But, the boredom in Pattaya is certainly not the same as the boredom in other places.

Please feel free to call me Queen, Fag, Asshole, Buttwipe or even pervert, sicko, lardass, redneck or yellow belly. But, please, save the true insults for when you know me. A Republican? I had just soon take it up the arse from a ladyboy as to be called a Republican! (Or something I haven
  13. Hedda, my dear, Garlic would just make the smell more Italian than Thai. I do love Italian myself but not sure how much garlic would help keep the unwanted away. We seem to be doing a pretty good job of not having the interest of those undesireables. Perhaps, they have another forum and that is all they need. I say,

Well, you said a mouthful there! Right you are. I once invited Mr. and Mrs. Wasp to Pattaya with me. They did scoff at the goings on. After Mrs. Wasp went to sleep, Mr. Wasp joined me at Lucky 7.

I have not had much experience with guys from this part of the world. I have met a few in Pattaya that I thought were sexy and even had a few encounters with them that were quite enjoyable. I had a bad experience with a group of them at Hollywood as the group kept invading my space and were acting like dogs in heat when it came to the ladyboys in our group. As one of them kept hitting on one of the ladyboys who had a boyfriend in the group, the night almost ended in a brawl. This is not what I wanted and was able to maintain the peace. I just wonder why there are so many from that part of the world in Pattaya. I have nothing against them being here but I was under the impression that many move here and stay here. The community seems active which is a good thing. There is one section of town that is filled with hotels and restaurants that cater to them. My question is this, how do so many of them afford to come here at such a young age? So many I have met are much younger than the average farang. I know in Europe that many get 2 months off a year as opposed to the USA vacation of 2 or 3 weeks a year. Does anyone know how long someone from that part of the world gets for vacation each year? If they practice their religion, I know that alcohol is forbidden. Is this similar to Christianity where one can pick which vices one wants? Is sex with women who are not of their religion forbidden? Is sex with other guys forbidden? I apologize if these comments are stupid. It is really my first encounter with a group of guys from this part of the world and I want to try to understand them a bit better.
  16. In recent weeks it has been almost impossible to get or make calls with my One Two call sim card. I have often been cut off or had Network Failed errors. I have been reading on the net the troubles that the company has with the network. It finally got enough for me as I was unable to call my family back in France. So, I went to TutCom and got a DTAC sim. Not only does it work perfectly, the reception is much better than I ever had with the other company. I am now once again connected to the outside world via telephone and I am thrilled with my new DTAC card!
  17. I have always enjoyed the bars in Boyxztown. They have a wide variety of guys to choose from. Last night I started off at Funnyboyx and had a nice time. I saw one very cute guy I liked but wanted to check the other bars to see what was happening. BoyzBoyzBoyx had a nice selection but I was looking for the guy I met there 2 weeks ago and he was not there. Throb/Splash has a nice selection as well but I enjoyed my talk with the sexy but larger than life drag queen there and didn't really meet anyone. Next was A-bomb. The boys here seem a bit beefier and larger than the other bars. They had a fair amount of customers as well. I met one guy from there that I really liked and offed him. Next was Sawatdee and Gentleman's Club. Both of which I enjoyed and had a nice drink and found some guys I enjoyed in each. The winner for the night for the Mr. Superstar (I didn't take him as I already had a date) was a sexy guy at Gentleman's Club. I have to go back and see him later in the week. He was very sexy and adorable. I met a nice lad in Sawatdee who said, "I want to work GayThailand." I wasn't sure what he meant but after a drink and a bit of conversation he said he saw the site and wanted a profile on the site. I told him I would help him set one up. All in all, Boyztown was great fun. My date for the night was excellent and I had a very nice time with him. I have to get back to Boyztown later in the week (after I recover for Hollywood and a night of Karoke last night) and see if this new Superstar lives up to my expectations.
  18. After a nice night in Boyztown hitting some bars, I wandered over to Sunee after picking up a boy from A-Bomb. We were at the Corner Bar when I heard that there was a commotion going on around the corner. Being curious, I wandered over to see what was happening. The police from Bangkok had rounded up all the boys in Diamond Pub and had them in a baht bus to take to jail. I am sure most were there because of either being underage to work or have no papers. I was also told that all would be tested for Yabba. I don
  19. For those of you who don't mind the night scene, I have always enjoyed a night at Excite and Hollywood. The shows in both places are very enjoyable and the crowd has a great time. The price is very reasonable for the mixers and the drinks. Last night, I had a birthday party for my boyfriend and he invited 16 friends out to Hollywood. We took 4 bottles of whiskey with us. Hollywood had 2 waiters that were basically dedicated to us all night. They refilled the glasses, got more soda and coke and kept me entertained. The entire cost for all the mixers for the night was 5,600 bath. That was a great deal I thought and every one of the boys had a great time. We started to go to Excite and one of the boys was turned away. He has an ID and although he is 20, they would not accept a copy of the ID. He had lost his ID and another one is one the way. But, they would not let him in so we went to Hollywood. One of the boys knew a bouncer and they let us in with the ID. Both places check IDs and the legal age to get into the places is 20. It is legal to work in a bar at 18 but you can only be a customer there at 20. I met one of the singers on stage as we tipped him throughout the night. He came over between breaks and drank with us. The entire night was a blast. My suggestion is not to go alone. Pick a boy you adore, tell him to invite 5 or so of his friends, but a few bottles of whiskey and have a good time. You won't regret it (until the next morning).
  20. I have not heard this about Throb/Splash. It is perhaps the only bar I would want to own in Pattaya. They really know how to do things right there and I always have a good time and enjoy the show. However, like all things in Pattaya, what isn't for sale for the right price?
  21. I have stayed at the Mosiak and it is very clean and in a great location. The owners are difficult to deal with as none of the staff truly understand english. The staff there is great and the rooms are cleaned weekly for free. http://mosaik-pattaya.com/
  22. >My favorite memory of the 60's was puberty. My favorite memory of the 60's was the terrible twos. I was only a young lad when Elvis died, but I remember everything about that day.
  23. >What is the name of the muscle bar in Bangkok and where is it >located? Tawan Bar is the best known one. It is a few Soi's down from all the other gay bars. If you walk out of Soi Twilight go to the right. Walk past the night market and there will be a Soi to the left, I think past Tartawan Hotel. Tawan is on the same soi as Solid and one of my favorite restaurants, Mango Tree. If you get to that area early, try the food at Mango Tree and also try Solid. Past Solid is several other small gogo bars. You have to read the names and look around as they are hidden to the unwatchful eye. I have heard from some Thai friends that Tawan was caught up in a tv show and it showed the sex show there live. It caused all the bars in Bangkok to stop the sex shows for a while and the whole area was "cleaned up." That lasted about a month or two. Now, it is back to normal. You will see several of the Tawan boys in Pattaya on Sunday at the beach. Many come here for relaxation or the beach.
  24. Thailand Update The Land of Smiles is full of smiles and hopes. There are so many guys here looking for a farang (customer) and so few farangs to assist. I have always found this time of year in Thailand to be fun and enjoyable. The “Rainy Season” or so it is called is unpredictable. One moment the sun is shinning and there are no clouds in the sky and the next minute it is like all hell is broken loose and there is a downpour like nothing you have ever seen. After an hour or so of this downpour, it stops and the sun pops back into view and within minutes, people go back to their work and like the rain had never happened. The bars are not busy and are very slow. There are plenty of guys in the bars looking for that special someone but not many customers in the seat. I get asked at least 40 times a day for food. It is hard to say no when someone you know asks for 50 cents to buy food. I have found that many of the men that live here are immune to the handing out of cash during low season. I always help when I can and when it is high season and there are tons of customers around the guys never forget one’s kindness or lack thereof. There are always special deals in Thailand for hotels. This time of year, you can have your pick. None of them are full. There is no wait for food at any restaurant or at the beach. It is easy to get around, as the traffic isn’t as bad as high season. I recommend to all Cabbages and Condoms in Pattaya. It is an amazing hotel and restaurant. It is located directly on the ocean and has one of the most beautiful gardens and views I have seen in Thailand. It was initially started as a restaurant in Bangkok which still exists off of Sumkumvit. If you are looking for a great place to stay, it is amazing. Another place in Pattaya is the Mosiak Apartments. They rent by the day and by the week. It gives you more privacy and the ability to bring guests back to your room without hassle. It is located in Day Night area and there are many great restaurants around the area. The website is: http://mosaik-pattaya.com/ It is best to call them as they suck at answering e-mails. I have been to the bars in Bangkok recently and had a great time. Many of the bars have over 140 guys there each night. If you cannot find someone you like, you are nuts! Before any trip to Thailand, you need to make sure what is happening before you arrive. Sometimes the bars are closed for elections or holidays. This week, they are all closed for 3-4 days. If you are only spending a week here, to go without them for half the trip would make many unhappy. Be sure to check out gaythailand.com for the latest information on the scene in each city before any trip. My favorite bar in Bangkok is Dream Boys. I like the mamasan there and she has never steered me wrong. I also really like Future Boys and Solid. In Pattaya, my favorite bar is Dynamite, a new bar in Boyztown. Again, the mamasan is great and is very knowledgeable of the guys. I also like BoyzBoyzBoyz and Lucky7. In Sunee Plaza, there is no place like Crazy Dragon. It is a gogo bar where the boys dance on mirrored table tops with loose fitting boxers for your viewing pleasure. The place is packed with boys and it is a lot of fun. The best beer bars in that area are Corner Bar owned by an American, Gary and Come In bar across the street. In Chiang Mai, if you want to stay at a great gay B & B, PJ’s Place is simply amazing. The owners are great and pull out all the stops to make sure you have a great stay with them. My favorite bar there is the New My Way bar. However, the malls are full of college guys and are a great deal of fun. There are also many mamasans that work the faranges with picture books. I had one come over to my place and had over 60 college boys photos and bios. I picked the one I wanted and he came that night. These guys were a bit more expensive but very fun. In Phuket, try to stay at the Baan Yan Dee hotel. It is gay owned and truly an amazing place. My Way bar is full of guys and while the scene in Phuket is not as busy as the other places, I always have a blast. Be sure to take a boat tour of the islands and snorkel while there. For a nice guide on places to stay and go, see www.gaythailand.com For the best place for cruising spots and free sex, see the forums on www.crusingforsex.com I hope this little update helps those interested in traveling to the land of smiles. If there are any questions, please let me know and I will try to assist.
