I needed to go into the city to do some business so I thought I would stop in on Monday at Meio Mundo. As I walked through the entry, the scent of old, musty locker room invaded my nostrils. Not in a nice way. At 5PM, there were lots and lots of cute guys. Well attended. Went to my locker and of course, smell was even worse. I can remember back to when the addition was new and the vinyl sofas in the lounge were unmmarker and a comfort to relax on. Now, missing legs and each with cracks and large sections of old foam visible. I do not want to even imagine what bacteria fester within. The last two times I have been there, the steam sauna was only luke warm. This time a bit better but certainly not scalding. And now for the past three visits the dry sauna has basically been the temperature of Farme on a summer day. Not to even mention all of the broken and stained wood. Missing wood protection around the heater. Of course, no hot water in the shower. Not absolutely cold like the other two, but what Brasilians call "agua morna" , we Americans would call cool or chilly. And once more, no soap in the dispensers. And of course, no bars of soap like the non-rent saunas provide.
In the past, I have mentioned problems to Acyr. I've given up on this. Since Vinicius is no longer the manager, things have seemed to gotten worse. Although Monday's are well-atteneded, I think no more for me. Really easy to get to Praca XV there and back but I'd rather spend the extra Reais and be in a nicer atmosphere at 117. Last night I had a very nice programa and paid extra for one of the rooms. Still had one of the sheets that wouldn't cover the crappy mattress and a door that would not lock.
About three months ago, maybe longer(?)right before Vini left, I remember that he had problems getting guys to even dance. He threw a sunga at one garoto to put on and the garoto threw it back at him. I suppose that the free entry in exchange for dancing wasn't worth it. Most have been a portent of things to come.
Of well, I guess I'll have to try Pointe more often. And Tuesday's at Clube117. Last night's guy and Gabriel from the week before both work out of that sauna and were only at Meio Mundo for the Monday action. Besides Saunas Catete and RioG for non-rent.

I found this to be a total "snoozer". Didn't hold my attention at all. And, Sir Paul was absolutely horrible with his performance.
Saw pictures of the Queen when Great Britian was marching in. She was picking her nails. So, I can only assume she was less than impressed with it.
But, on a positive note, the video of her with 007 and the "skydive" into the stadium was GREAT.

Good riddens! They pissed me off with that final Season 1 episode. I felt really fucked over and I wouldn't watch Season 2. Too bad, it started out to be an interesting show for the most part.

Of course people can change their mind over time. Thank goodness for that! Otherwise, I never would have had sex with men. Luckily, I saw the light over time but I was a late bloomer!
I never dig my heels in. Well, almost never!

OneFinger, one thing I have learned over the years is that anytime a change in a site happens, you loose some of the members. People are fascinating and seem to want things to stay the same but improve at the same time.
It is often a very impossible task. You can't please everyone all the time. You can always try to make your members know now valuable they are and how much you appreciate them. And, we do! But, sometimes in order for something better to come, you have to make changes that will make some unhappy. As always (and you should know this from member a member here) we always listen and we are always open to discuss things.
So, did you have a name in mind with instant recogination that I can afford?

I am here because I met a man many years ago that introduced me to male escort reviews. His name was Hooboy. We became great friends. When I met him I really didn't know much of the community that he had created and he asked me to join and participate and I did. From that site, I met many great guys in person that have become dear friends. I travel with some. I meet up with some around the world and I still engage with many of them. When Hooboy's site closed, we started this one and moved the conversations here.
I participate here because I truly value the men on this forum and I respect their opinions. I love learning new things about the escort world and I have to say I have learned more from this site than any other. Everything from tips on Brazil to where to go in Thailand to what clubs are the best in NYC, LA and Montreal.
I am not the frequent traveler I once was and I tend to keep going back to the same places. But, I do so with a greater knowledge thanks to the participants of this site.
I also love to hear other people's views on politics and current events. Some posters have really opened my eyes when they make a comment in the Political forum that I had not thought of. There are also many of the current news and entertainment topics that are discussed here that I would have missed by hitting the front page of the New York Times each day.
All in all, I have to say that the friendships I have developed on this site will be ones that I hope to be involved with when I get to my "Golden Girls" years. Between that and the knowledge I gain everyday from the intelligent and funny men that post here, my life is better for visiting here each day!

I have no problem with people coming here to talk about the situation over there. They get closed down without warning and the site is locked down completely. Some are curious why, others are upset -- so let them talk it out amongst themselves as long as their are no knife fights.
I have said all I have to say about daddy's close-down and have no personal interest. Not sure why nonparticipants of that site would care either. I do see why participants over there would care. I don't intend to shut them out of an opportunity here to express their understanding or frustrations, whichever applies. Maybe they will find other topics here that interest them or start some.

I had a nice room with full breakfast for less than 125 a night at the Marriott. Yes, I know expensive for Thailand but I love the hotel.
Lookin, you can get rooms in the gay area for around 50 USD a night. see:
    http://www.ambiancehotel.com/

    http://www.copapattaya.com/
If you wish your own apartment, firecat stays at condos for around 50 USD a night I think. He loves it as total privacy and your own room near the big mall. He uses a service to book. Let me know if interested and I'll get info.
Also, there are tons of cheap hotels for 25 USD a night. But, the ones listed above I know and would have no problem staying in any of them.

Axiom, could you, or others, give some more detail on specifically what you didn't like about such a place. I have a pretty high tolerance for imperfection, so maybe it would work for me. I also have a pretty high tolerance for saving money. This place looks like it goes for about twenty bucks a night, leaving a bit more left in the entertainment budget.
    Thanks.

I must agree with your comments on the Pattaya Marriott. I am a Lifetime Marriott Platinum Elite and stayed at this hotel for every trip I made to Pattaya. This hotel always treated me like a king. I went into their membership lounge each morning for a light breakfast while reading an English paper and watching CNN headlines. Was always greeted by name as I passed the reception desk and in the lounge. One trip I was there on my birthday. While eating breakfast the manager and several hotel staff slipped up behind me with a birthday cake with candles and my name on it. The staff then sang Happy Birthday to me. One of the biggest surprises of my life. I think my smile was almost as big as my Thai friends that morning.

I have stayed at this hotel well over 200 nights over the past 10 years and I never hesitate to stay there when I am in Thailand.
The staff is simply incredible. From the time you walk onto their property you are treated like you are respected and appreciated. The staff goes out of its way to make customers welcome and to make sure they have a fabulous experience. I am a Platinum member with Marriott and the VIP staff always welcomes me and takes great care to be sure I have a good room and everything I need to have a successful stay.
The swimming pool is the best that Pattaya has to offer and would give most hotels in Asia a run for their money. The pool bar has happy hour every day at 4PM and it is always fun to hear the drums and the gongs to let everyone know it is happy hour and 1/2 price drinks.
    The gardens are a delight.
The rooms are nothing special but they are very well maintained and always cleaned to perfection. The Internet is high speed and when there is a problem with anything, they do whatever they can to make it right fast.
My stay on this trip was for 2 1/2 weeks. Every day I stayed there, I was treated like an A-list celebrity and I knew I would wake up the next day to another wonderful day. Breakfast every morning is amazing and they have a large variety of offerings.
The GM walks the hotel constantly to make sure everything is going great with all guests. Most who see this man do not know he is the Manager but as I have been staying at this hotel for over 10 years, I have met him and always enjoy talking to him. But, more importantly, a day does not go by that I don't see him walking and inspecting the hotel at least 3-4 times. That is not something I ever seen anyone do at other hotels and it is in my opinion why this hotel keeps in the terrific shape it is in.
I know many are interested in whether or not you can bring guests into the hotel and I have never had a problem with this. It is not going to be an issue for them as long as your guest is over 18 and has an ID card. They leave that with security when they get to the hotel and they pick it up on exit. I have no problem with doing this. However, my long term boys stayed with me the entire trip and I just checked them into my room so they had a hotel key and could come and go as they wanted. This also means they could charge anything they want to the bill. As we all had happy hour every day at the hotel pool bar, I was not surprised to see my bill on exit was 50 percent food and beverage as the boys would have friends over for swimming and even with discounts, it adds up quick!
I had food poisoning before I got to the hotel and was a bit under the weather for the entire trip and ended up only going out of the hotel 2-3 times over the entire trip. So, I spent the vast majority of the trip inside the hotel grounds and I could not have asked for a nicer experience.
If you are going to be in Thailand and want a fabulous place to stay, you can't go wrong with this hotel. They will treat you well and you will understand what makes Thailand so amazing!

Awfully sorry if my fun causes you any distress. I'll be checking each post from now on for inadvertent doggerel or anything that jingles.
You did remind me, however, of a favorite piece of graffiti, floating above a urinal in the Tenderloin some twenty years ago:
I'm not going to do it, that's all there is to it.
    Oops! I've done it again.

    Martha Stewart Likes Big Wieners

The always primp and proper Martha Stewart dedicated an entire episode of her daytime show this week to everything Hot Dog related.
The Martha Stewart Show featured all kinds of hot dogs and toppings.
They even had a special 15-foot hot dog created by Empire National in Brooklyn that was hand delivered to Martha's studio.
And showing you can never be too proper, Ms. Stewart added, "For those of you who don't think length matters, I disagree – especially when it comes to wieners."
    How saucy, Martha!
"There's just never enough bites in a hot dog," she added.

I am in Prague from today evening until May 29 and then Friday June 1st. I think Milo Peters is no longer escorting. He is not answering phone messages. Or maybe he is not in Prague at the moment. The last pictures I saw of him and of his brother were in Johnnys in Fort Lauderdale where they performed together recently

And with the owner of Johnnys

A lapdance with the Peters twins is certainly more fun than a lapdance with the current cuban twins in Boardwalk !
