  1. Like others here, I can highly recommend Felipe. Super nice guy who tries very hard to offer a professional wide-ranging guide service, tailored to gay visitors to Bogota. He also has reliable contacts in the other cities, Felipe's WhatsApp is 57 304 1352430
  2. Hello there. Is anyone going to spend the Hollidays in Bogotá? It is going to be my first time in the city and would love to hang out with the connoisseurs. I rented a very small, cozy and cheap 1BR in Chapinero Central.
  3. Took one for the team. Based on a single weekend day visit, really nothing to recommend it. However, if you have the time it’s perhaps worth it to see for yourself. There was one explicitly available massajista, a little older and I think danced at Gigolo Erotic House, but I did not pursue as had been getting some just fine at St Moritz. I did not confirm, but two young slim locals may have been providers. Bigger table in the one massage space, a space also substantial in size compared to St Moritz but no evidence of sheets or a more than the typical fragmentary terry cloth towel to lay down on the vinyl. It seemed quiet but there were two dozen + locks tallied in the locker room. Didn’t see any evidence of private rooms for client action. Then realized all attendees were crammed into either the small darkroom, the steam, or the sauna. It was chilly (I often had hotel heating cranked up) and perhaps the customers lack home heating and head there to warm up. Über 30 minutes and merely COP15,000 base each way. Seemed to be a love/sex motel street. Vibrant neighborhood Venecia. If one conceptualizes a distance triangle where Chapinero is the first point, then airport n/w and Venecia s/w are approximately equidistant remaining points.
  4. I share an interesting adventure from December 25th in Bogota. Everything was closed and streets empty, so I checked grindr around 10.30am. A hot muscle guy caught my attention, though I thought its an escort. Anyhow, I contacted, we chatted, he said its his birthday (27). Ithought it’s a way to get a “gift”. We had a whatsapp call and he seemed to be a nice guy and the flat was also nice. He lived quite far from Chapinero in Bogota North-East, about 45 min with uber. I took with me 100Kpeso, reduced the cc limit to 100 eur and took my secondary mobile phone with me (in case it gets ugly, losses are insignificant). I arrived at the place (I recognized the football stadium from the flat window I saw in whatsapp call), he was not at home, I ordered uber back to the hotel and then he arrived with mopo. He was hot and nice. We went to his flat, I met his neighbors and I thought it was not a very smart setup to rob me. In the flat there was another muscular guy and I was a bit concerned about my safety. It was his brother with whom he shares the flat. I was still a bit uneasy. The brother is also a muscle guy, and both are into older guys (let’s call my date Gabo). Gabo also has a nice face, the brother is a bit more raw (though if separately presented, I would take both). Anyhow, Gabo said we will go to café nearby. They had their breakfast, I had in the hotel and asked, what happens next. They said we would travel to the party. Uber was soon ordered, and we drove to Bogota-Suba. I thought it must be their favorite restaurant. We arrived at one park and they were looking for something. I asked where is the restaurant – reply, we go to the flat. It must be clarified, I speak experimental Spanish and use google translate. Well. I took a photo of the park and sent it to my primary mobile phone which was in the hotel (so that the investigative team would have some clues if I don’t come back). Soon 5 guys arrived, one had a daughter, and I decided it's not organized crime, most probably. We went to buy beer (my money was refused) and then to the flat, to the rooftop and indeed there were about 15 people, beer, music and aguardiente/schnaps. So from 1-4 pm we had a working class style rooftop party, which was very fun with dancing, chats, etc. I was the exotic gringo guest. I learned about the guys and their life. Around 4 pm soup was served. I thought, it's all a very exciting anthropological experience, but what about my hot date? Around 4-5pm, Gabo said we leave now and go back to the flat. Great news! But 5 people joined us. I learned one guy (who seemed to be informal leader), also a gay guy (there were 4 other gays guys age 25-30) wants to fight and we took him out from the party and walked around the area, which was full of people celebrating I guess Xmas. Grilling food on the street, drinking, dancing and even singing. I had a feeling that people were a bit surprised about my presence and some dangerous looking guys (my stereotypical thinking) offered me potato chips. The trouble maker was deemed to be calm and we took an uber to the flat (before we waited for a 20 min taxi, and then I offered my uber). I thought, maybe they just come with us for a short last drink... We arrived in the flat and flat decoration started. I asked if more people will arrive. Yes, about 10. True, more beer, pizza, cake, 10 people, all brothers (4 additional, straight), sister, mother, lesbian couple, etc. Party lasted until 11. I was thinking about my date… . Everybody was very nice, gifts, singing, Gabo in tears, Gabo again happy. More drinking (especially the sister and one young rather dumb brother). Around 11 pm, I was getting tired of constant blasting latin music, beer and thought, what to do. Around 23, Gabo, his sister and dumb brother, who made borderline homophobic jokes, were crying. Gabo’s muscle brother (who btw also fancied me!) said, don’t worry, it's normal, they always cry together because Gabo is gay and life is not easy. Well.. I asked Gabo when we have one-on-one time, he said tomorrow, but I can stay there. Well. Better with a hot guy, then alone. I went to sleep in his bedroom. Guests did not leave and soon came exhausted Gabo to sleep with me. Sex in such a small flat with some guests roaming nearby was unrealistic. I cuddled with him and managed to taste of his nice large dick, but then it was about 8am and guests started to wake up. I decided it’s better to go back to the hotel, since it's 24 hours since I left and no fun to be with the family, some with strong hangovers (sister). We agreed to meet later that day, but we were too exhausted. However, we agreed to meet the next day and indeed I landed my date for sex, nearly 36 hours after the first kiss, again at his flat. He has an incredible body and though I am a bottom guy, I could not get enough of his muscled thighs and stone hard glutes😊. I originally planned a nice dinner and visit to my hotel; but he was not so eager to come to Chapinero (I offered uber). After sex we went to his friend's place, who made chicken and rice. We chatted and gossiped, he went to the gym (with the trouble maker friend) and I ubered again to the hotel and the next day departed from Colombia. Unfortunately, the meeting took place on the last day.. . Learning: sometimes the risks are worthwhile, let things go as they go, don’t stress too much, think less. I thought, even if I would not have sex, the opportunity to peek into the life of young bogotanos was great. Gabo and his family left the day after to the Caribbean coast, where they originally come from and from the whatsapp pictures I could see, the holiday consisted of food, dancing, beer and beach. I plan to continue this friendsip when I am again in Bogota. PS maybe some forum members have also met this guy or his brother? The pic is from the streets of Suba.
  5. Today was full of unexpected activities and I usually don't do graphic descriptions, but... My mind is full of the last event. I want more. . MY morning wakeup fuck was disappointing (as described in https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/40422-colombian-men). But it was followed by another visit from Alejandro with similar stretching of my culo. The security guard who takes pictures of every visitors' id seems to be giving me the evil eye. "What?!" only 2 or three a day.... as the day progressed, I had a number of more leads to bottom as that was my mood when I suddenly decided to go to St Moritz Medellin. I had been to the Bogota store so why not.... well it was clean, dead, only 3 men there. .....................xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Censored. see member only area. He just grinned at me as we kissed and I gave him praise over his work and unexpected pleasure. I can't explain his actions as usually there is an added fee for sex (in Bogota and extra hundred for a condom fuck with no cum). (another example of white privilege? I’ll take it!) His name was Urial, a beauty and I hope to have a longer slower more loving fuck at my Airbnb.
  6. I think we may need to factor (besides luck) the time we stay in a place, increasing the risks to fall into statistic probability. Buenos Aires, Corrientes, NYC, DC, Paris, are all places where I stayed for a long time, and I was robbed in all of them. In Contrast, Bogotá, Medellín, Salvador, Mexico DF, Rio, where I have never suffered from any crime, have all been visits no longer than 2 weeks.
  7. Back from the trip... a few notes. Garage is no more. I looked for it when I first arrived in Bogota. Found out from a performer that I spotted on Grindr that it closed about 3 weeks ago. It's already been done over so I couldn't even precisely figure out where it even was. I found the selection of guys online in Bogota much better, but again found Medellin more to be the city I enjoy spending more time in. Going rate ranged between 150 and 250 (pesos). Punctuality is something you really can't expect. If you expect them to be on time, be really clear. Colombians are in their own time zone regardless of what your phone says the local time is. Bogota tip: bring your guy to Takuma Cocina Show. They will love it and so will you. Medellin tip: visit Brije and get the filet mignon in Poblado. Fantastic! Most of my encounters were from mileroticos but Grindr was a good backup. Start looking up profiles on both long before you land in Colombia. If you speak Spanish, great. If not, load WhatsApp on to your laptop and bookmark Google Translate. A fraction of the guys will attempt English but it'll be bad. The more communication you can do now on a computer the better vs when you get to Colombia and are on your phone. Copying and pasting endlessly on a phone is a p.i.t.a.
  8. Okay, I will recommend Leandro in Bogotá highly because he is a pro, knows how to use a dick that big, and is really good at reading the room and giving you what you want. He's a sweetheart from Cali and is versatile. Also has some banging options for threesome partners if you want to go wild. Choosing a scort is a very personal thing, so it really depends on preferences which you have not shared. Let me know if that is in the zone. I could probably just post the list of the "do not waste your time under any circumstances" scorts here Generally I have had very good luck in Colombia and many of my regulars I see outside of work now. Good luck!
  9. A fire broke out at Theatrón in Bogotá last night. Over 4000 patrons were evacuated but no injuries were noted. The fire was reported early at 9:30pm before the club gets crowded. Anyone traveling to Bogotá can expect the club to be closed for a week according to the management. Story in Spanish here: https://www.bluradio.com/blu360/bogota/video-por-alerta-de-incendio-evacuan-theatron-una-de-las-discotecas-mas-grandes-de-bogota-so35
  10. I can probably answer any questions you might have -- but unclear what information you are looking for? I try to keep my posts up to date as I travel regularly to Colombia and speak with Colombian friends daily. So if I don't have the answer, I can usually ask around. If you are just looking for prepagos, start with Mileroticos (as noted above) as those are the most professional of the scorts. They pay to post ads and they can include reviews -- albeit solely in Spanish. As a foreigner, I would strongly urge you to visit El Recreo de Adan in Zona T (Bogotá). It's a board game themed restaurant-bar where groups gather. You will be invited to join other groups playing game as the atmosphere is very social. It is also a favourite hunting spot for rolos interested in foreigners, so a win for everybody involved. Do know that there is increasing anger against foreigners in recent years as more tourist arrive to enjoy the country and more are choosing to stay. Particularly in Medellín where there is a growing housing crisis. So be aware of your surroundings, just as you would in any other foreign country.
  11. I'm in Bogota through the 22nd. Let me know if you wanna hang out and hit these spots
  12. Anybody in bogota nov 17-22? Message me
  13. I question the statistics in many countries. Even in USA, many serious crimes (like police homicides) do not get reported correctly. In Bogota, when I was mugged the police were unwilling to file a report and the website the country established to submit reports was a dead link.
  14. Hi there! I'm a new user here. I'm traveling to Bogota in a pair of weeks and I wanted to know if anybody has some useful information. Interested in gaylife, advise on GrindR, Escorts, Saunas, etc. Thank you!
  15. I also hired Phillipe as my guide when I was in Bogota. He was great. If you wish to great you at the airport on arrival and take you to the hotel, he can arrange that transfer as well. He was unable to do the tour with me on another day, and he recommended his colleague, was good too.
  16. There are many clinics that cater to LGBTQIA+ health in Bogotá. One of the best known (for gay men) is Clinica Salud Sexual Masculina in Usaquén Cl. 99 #49- 38 Oficina 609, Barrios Unidos, Bogotá, Cundinamarca. They also advertise in some of the local online sites and forums. There is another on Carrera 7 near the Four Seasons hotel that I know about that is a walk-in clinic, but a Google search turned up nothing.
  17. Oh putain le boulet. To be polite I'd say you are definitly not the sharpet knife of the drawer as you don't even understand the first post and the purpose of testing in general. Now I'm pretty sure you are a bigot : gives lesson in public and acts as a devil in private, but definitively not the "good" smoking hot devil obviously. You are totally irrespectful. Who do you think you are? Do you really think your 💩 doesn't stink? You're no better than the fundamentalists of any religion : stupidity, ignorance and obscurantism. The use of "3rd world" which is a term not to be used anymore (repeat after me : Least developed countries) is significant and perfectly demonstrates your narrow mind. Same for Google translate, Darling there are far much better tools thant GT nowadays, are you a caveman? I said I didn't understand your tone as a non english speaker. Now I know it was mean. For the record, in my previous trips to Bogota this year I noticed posters about HIV and maybe other STIs testing campaigns but I did not pay enough attention. So stop beeing condescending (assimilating Colombia with the 3rd world, WTF?) to other countries you don't know. You don't show your home base country on your profile but I have a little idea... You have info on Colombia STI prevention? Talk. You don't? Shut up. The all-knowing guy. Perfect illustation of you don't want my opinion, but I'll give it to you anyway.🤦‍♂️ If you're a nolife, there's nothing I can do about it, please stop polluting others topics and offer you a real life. Pity I can't blacklist you. You will keep on spreading your vomitous 🤮 morals and I will be force to read your pathetic logorrhea. Best thing to do : don't feed the trolls. I won't answer to you anymore.
  18. Boys, I'm talking about infections of STD in the throat. 😇 I always inspect cocks before sucking, unfortunately these infections aren't always visible, and boys may not even know they're ill. Except practicing oral sex with condom I don't know how to avoid when dating lots of boys, especially rent boys. I had no intention of taking antibiotics without getting sick. The original posting was about STD testing in Bogota in order to get a treatment and above all avoid contaminations of other guys.
  19. Im planning a trip to Columbia in a couple of months and trying to figure out which saunas have rentboys in Medellin and Bogota. I have visited Brazil several times and love the sauna set-up with rentboys. Im looking for something similar in Columbia. Any suggestions would be great.
  20. My next traveling windows are Thanksgiving week in Nov and the 2 weeks of Winter Break. I am tempted by Rio, but I think my decision is weighting in favor of continuing my Colombian exploration. So this is a question for the Colombian savvy friends. I am considering going back to Medellin for one week in November (my 2nd visit) and visiting for 2 weeks Bogotá in Christmas and NY (my 1st time the Capital). Do you think it is a wise decision?
  21. I'll be arriving in Bogota on August 12. It will be my first sexy time holiday in a while. As an aficionado of gay strip clubs in Montreal and Toronto, I am curious about what's happening at Gigolo's in Bogota. Is it back in full swing? Gracias.
  22. Fellow Travelers, Will anyone else be in the Cidade Maravilhosa this week (or Bogotá this weekend)? PM me.
  23. Hello Everyone, First time in Colombia. I have appreciated all the posts and have read through most of them regarding Colombia. The pandemic really put a damper on things but hopefully moving forward we can all get back to what we love I have been in the country a few days now and in Medellin currently. Literally just arrived a few hours ago at time of writing. I was in Bogota for 3 days and mostly just did normal touristy stuff. I do want a quality vacation that just isn't about boys, and I also like to slowly feel out the country first before going crazy. Didn't go to any of the gay establishments but may do it when I return to Bog. I did meet a guy off of Grindr. He had his own place which worked well for me as I was nervous bringing someone into my hotel. In the end it turned out well. He said he was 23 in his profile but I place him a few years older. It didn't really matter as he was smoking hot and hung. I had an hours time with him and in all honesty - either I lucked out or this is just the norm in Colombia but he was an A plus top.. Anyway just thought i'd share my experience and will also for Medellin. I'm definitely going to check out Ferchos and report back. By the way, as recommended by another member - I stayed at the Hotel Vilar America in Chapinero and I can confirm as long as you book a room for two, there are no issues bringing a guest over. They do want to do the I.D check thing and that is a good thing for security. I didn't bring anyone over, but the option was there if I wanted too. Good hotel for a reasonable price. ttfn
  24. I just returned from 10 days in Colombia and I thought I would share my experience. It was my 4th or 5th time to Colombia and as always had a great time. Bogota--Arrived late Friday in order to enjoy Teatron on a Saturday night. As many know Teatron is the large nightclub that is truly amazing. Many floors and rooms for dancing and music. The top floor is men only and has naked strippers. Others have suggested that they might be available but I am not so sure. Very little opportunity to talk with them as they are on and off the stage pretty quickly. My local friend says that they have more strippers on Tuesday night than on the weekend--but my favorite night to visit is Saturday when all of the club is open and there is plenty of eye candy in the crowd. As far as hookups--Grindr is the way to go in Bogota(and really all of Colombia). Lots of free offers-- and the working guys in Bogota seemed to be happy with 70-90,000 pesos. There is a Sauna called Saint Moritz that has massage available but every time we visited the massage guys had already left around 6-7pm. If that is what you were looking for then get there earlier like 4-5pm. That seems to be the peak time for Saunas in both Bogota and Medellin. Bogota has a lot to see and you should not miss the view from Monseratte--ride up on the tram or funicular. I stayed at the Novotel--no problem with guests and they take a copy of the ID at the front desk. A friend had multiple guests over the course of the trip and they did not charge him extra with a double room booked. Very nice hotel, great breakfast and good neighborhood. Medellin--Medellin is a beautiful City with a great climate. I stayed at an airbnb in a nice neighborhood called Laurelles--lots of trees and good places to eat. I have some warnings about Medellin that really apply to everywhere in Colombia--more on that later. Lot's to see in Medellin including the Botanic Garden in the city--and a large park outside the city called Park Arvi. Park Arvi is accessed but the Metrocable which is the tram that acts as mass transit around parts of the city. Getting there involves a few different changes between lines but is really easy if you google the instructions. There is a very fun, clean and beautiful sauna called Club 55. This is not a working boy sauna but they do have massage available that I'm told rapidly turns into something else. Again all of the massage guys were gone by 7. The very friendly, cute, and frisky locals tell me that peak time for the sauna is like 5-6pm. It has a bar, jacuzzi and is very clean and modern. You can definitely have fun for free here. Several hot working boys on Grindr in Medellin--they seem to want more than Bogota--like 150000pesos ($43). Medellin is where two people close to me had potentially serious problems within 24hours of each other. In the first situation a good friend from the US who lives there, fluent spanish speaker, and is very savvy about having guys over was drugged and robbed by someone he met online and invited to his apartment. He has lived there for over 10 years and this was the first time anything like this had ever happened. He spent the night in the hospital but is fine now. In the second incident I met a guy on grindr and we had a hot time. I'll admit I took a chance by having him back to my airbnb but I felt comfortable enough with the guy enough to refer him to another friend who was traveling with me. My friend wanted to meet up with the guy and they agreed on a price to meet up. This is where my friend made a big mistake. He agreed to go to they guy's nearby apartment(also in a nice neighborhood) and the guy who had just hours before been nice and friendly with me became very aggressive with my friend and took the money that they had agreed on up front and then demanded more before he would do anything. When my friend (a native spanish speaker) decided to just leave--this guy blocked his exit and started screaming and demanding more money even though they hadn't done anything. My friend gave him another wad of cash and beat a quick retreat. It easily could have escalated into something worse. In all cases this could have been avoided by following the usual safety measures talked about on this board. The reality though in Medellin is that many hotels do not allow guests and "love motels" are not that prevalent or are located in Centro far from the areas where most people stay. I'm not sure what the best solution is for Medellin in this regard. Barranquilla and Carnival--I have some younger friends that live in Barranquilla that I wanted to visit and this was an ideal weekend because it was Carnival there. I have been to Cartagena many times and enjoyed it but this was my first trip to Barranquilla. Carnival was in the air as I landed at the airport and the beer companies were passing out cans of beer to arriving travelers on the way to baggage claim. I have never been at an airport where I had drank two free beers before I had claimed my luggage! Barranquilla is a pleasant city and I stayed in a nice high rise air BNB with security at the front desk--but they let my friends pass by as long as they were with me. These are guys I have known since they were college students and are now in graduate school and working and I trust 100%. The carnival in Barranquilla is a big deal and last year there were over a million visitors. Prices for hotels and apartments go up just like Rio. The highlight of carnival is a big carnival parade on Saturday in centro. I relied on my local friends advice and we all got an early start on Saturday to go watch the parade. Unfortunately the area is for the most part blocked off with high barriers that block any view of the parade unless you buy a ticket to a private seating area. Those tickets were being sold by scalpers for upwards of $100usd per ticket. In the end we gave up on watching the parade due to the crowds and heat and the fact that we were unable to find any public viewing area that was accessible. My friends complain that each year the viewing area open to the public for free gets less and less and more of the parade is blocked from view by barriers. From what I did see though the parade in Barranquilla focusses more on colorful costumes and dancing than on the elaborate floats and displays at carnival in Rio. Like carnival in Rio there are street parties but these are more enclosed events where you pay admission as opposed to the free bloccos in Rio which are more open and free flowing. The biggest difference--and for me this is huge--is that in Barranquilla despite the heat at Carnival I did not see a single guy with their shirt off whereas in Rio the display of shirtless male bodies is a big plus! Culturally I think the Colombians are much more conservative about their dress and keeping themselves covered up in public. We had great fun at a big open air gay club called The Patio which was packed with cute guys dancing to latin music all night. I was the only gringo there. There is another club in Barranquilla that my friends told me about that plays electronic/pop music but I do not recall the name and I did not visit. I didn't hook up in Barranquilla as I with friends but plenty of cute guys in the club were eager to meet, practice their english, and make out for a while. I would mention that casual cocaine use is common amongst many Colombians of all classes and it is a bit shocking to see how openly used it is in the clubs--no attempt made to hide it from security. I do not do any drugs at all but my Columbian friends tell me that it's not a big deal there --kind of like having a joint or a cigarette.--still I would stay away from it if you are tempted. I love Colombia--great people, hot guys, beautiful scenery and many different regions to explore in a relatively small country. I still prefer Brazil for the open display of bodies everywhere in Rio and the safety of fun in the saunas there. For a true Carnival experience nothing beats Rio despite some of the hassles and security concerns. I will continue to visit both countries for all of their charms!
