Sauna Thermas Barcelona was Amazing tonight.

Cany10011 IME Barcelona and Madrid are the last holdouts of the saunas with rentboys scene in Europe. But both Berlin and Budapest have plenty of fellas on the regular sites- and on Grindr.

Hamburg has 3 hustler bars. As in Berlin it's mostly Romanians, though not as rough as the ones in Berlin. Berlin has 6 hustler bars within 2 blocks. 90% Romanian. 1% German at best.

The only thing in Budapest was the wonderful Action Bar but it's permanently closed. Nothing else even though Bel Ami has a studio there. Ditto Bratislava.

The private room(s) (#1?) are 10E per hour. The better guys insist you get it because it's so much nicer and more private. AC that works, double bed. 9x12 ft. The free cubicles can be like fucking in a Sears changing room. Guys are nicer to you in the nicer rooms.

We still have Sears around and I've had many 3 somes in the standard Thermas cubicles. But the AC often doesn't work in them and they're very dark. Standard gay bathhouse cubicles. #1 room is 9x12, has video, has fully functioning AC, a full size mattress on a platform. Shows the trick of the hour that you really value them and have high quality tastes. And in an hour you can easily get 2 seperate tricks at Thermas. It is a hassle going upstairs to get the #1 key and returning it.

Doubt it. On a typical weekday around 5 or 6 pm there are usually two dozen guys.

What about Athens? beautiful city, great food and an array of rent boys from Albania, Middle East and Athes itself. All hot and willing to negotiate prices.

I have been to Thermas many times but I have never been clear about the "private" rooms (likely because I don't speak Spanish fluently and haven't tried to ask). In Rio saunas, the gp typically goes and gets a key to a room once time together has been planned. At Thermas, we have typically just used any open room.  Would a visitor request a private room at check-in (in the way one does at a mom-remtboy sauna usually)? Are the private rooms on a lower floor?  Are there sheets that are changed like at many saunas (I know you just lie towels down in the cubicles). May be interested in renting a private room sometime although I never had an issue with the normal cubicles (never noticed a lack of AC).

I asked this in another thread and never received an answer. Sorry to sound like a broken record but does anyone have any updated info on Sauna Adan in Madrid.  Basically, is it still open? (No active website I can find) ANY other info would be greatly appreciated.

In reference to "Adan", Madrid: all the curring rumors about their "closing" during last years were false  - every time I went - until March 2017 - I found it the same as before: facilities  old, rundown, ugly and seedy , but the muscled boys sexy and mouthwatering hot; rate 50/40 €. In fact the place never had any website - no need. Local patrons know it since Francos days, and foreign punters find their way also...

There is another sauna with rentboys in Spain: "Termasauna Miguel" in Torremolinos; the place is renovated and clean, definetly ok, the working boys more average type, but happy to please and a lot cheaper than Bcn and Mad;  4 years ago my first guy over there, Gabriel from Brazil, a charming angel, did it for 20...

I go back every year since.

Yeah, you are so right ! But, of course, "Thermas", providing a service which is in high demand, doesnt see any need to open another place as near as Sitges. Their mouthwatering honeypot in Bcn attracts flies in abundance from all over the globe.

By the way: ever heard about "Paragonya" Sauna in Zurich? Terrific  place, quality boytoys - I have met some of them I knew already from "Adan" and "Thermas"... But - of course - be prepared to different rates - this is Switzerland...haha

American Boys is a pretty and traditional brothel with very young-looking (though legal) very slender androgynous types ... I went once and was a waste of time, given my tastes. I would not know whether to bang them or snap them over my knee as kindling. As well, you are escorted to a room and each one is brought in for perusal one at a time. I made it clear I was into more built guys but they nevertheless paraded the entire cadre through, carbon copies in terms of body type. Then I left thinking I essentially insulted the place because I was forced into a yes/no with each fellow rather than mingling and scanning. 

I think attractive bigger working men gravitate to Thermas where they can be on display very differently among the entire clientele and turn over tricks more rapidly.

Thanks for the Adan confirmation. I had seen a review in July but we can now dismiss rumors about its demise. I needed a reason to be sure to visit Madrid.

Thanks bobbalino for the useful info! I went into the lobby of the apartment building and was too chicken to take it up to the 3rd floor. I'm glad I took my chances with the boys at Thermas instead... much cheaper than the 100 euros the American Boys was requesting.  I thought this time, since a few buddies are coming to Barcelona for a getaway, a few of us could try the brothel together. Just to see what it is all about. As for Thermas, i plan on spending a lot of free time there

I was at Thermas in September ,actually on the day of the Catalan independence referendum. It was a bit quieter, late afternoon but  enough cute guys. The average price was about 50euros.

Thanks  for posting on other rent boy saunas i.e American Boys in Barcelona and Adnan in Madrid,also Miguel in Torremolinos.

I hope to visit on future trips....

Someone should make a list of all the saunas with  rent boys in Europe. I feel more comfortable meeting escorts in the safe setting of saunas . I had a few offers on Grinder when in Barcelona ,but possibly because of my limited Spanish I did not feel comfortable in meeting them in my hotel or their homes.

Yes, I agree 100 %. "Thermas" is the place in Bcn for more than one reason. Clean, safe, good environment - and the "menu" we are craving for is mouthwatering ever since... Not to forget the spotless rate - you can get your fun there with some studs, who are used to take the double and triple rate at their home or your hotelroom. At the sauna you check in, anticipate the sensationes to come, pick (carefully) your boytoy and - get your goal! I love the place, the longer the more.

I had my first experience there last night, it's funny because I recognised some of the guys just from the descriptions from this website. I had a nice time with a very handsome Romanian in the end, he did give me probably the worst massage of my life, almost comedic, but totally forgivable as he was so handsome. And would definelty go back, there were 1 or 2 guys who didn't really take no for an answer but I suppose that's to be expected. Heading to Madrid now so hopefully I will have time to explore.
