I don't know whether your batshit craziness sees that as a personal threat or what, but no, your kindred spirit knows the neighborhood I live in and my street and once saw some of my friends on a street in my general neighborhood and maybe assumes I was with them but they have plenty of friends. And this weird cottage industry here and the other site of tracking commenters down and trying to use information to report them to police as using escorts or as escorts, or using information to blackmail them is one of the weirder things I've ever seen on the internet and I thought I'd seen it all. The only people here I have ever met personally are in Zurich and Prague. Do something better with your time than trying to track and compile commenters' personal information down for whatever crazy or criminal reason.

I was trying to be entertaining, but do not misunderstand me. I do not know how this is going to go in November. I think it is the upmost importance to denounce Trump and the idiots who may get him reelected. Four more years of Trump could take us to an actual proto fascist regime.

Yep, Trump is a 100% imbecile and an awful person and he's incompetent. I can't stand him. I share absolutely zero with anything he says. (I also find I share little with people I agree with what they say after they get elected).  But on one bright side he's so incompetent the US war/genocide machine has almost ground to a halt the last 3 years. And all the Neo Cons who miss that regular taste of blood are flocking to join their Neo Lib brethren in the Democratic party they now control 100%. The taste for blood with the Neo Libs and the Neo Cons is a strong drug that causes them to do stupid things politically and that's why they're taking over the Democratic party is going to be awful for the Democratic party. Telling the Bernie voters to go away, the Latinx voters, the independents and the young has had a devastating effect on the party the past few days. All the young bloggers I follow are collectly going "yuck" at this convention's turn.The Hill has stories today that the 12% lead for Biden has fallen to within the margin of error in his vital "home" state of Pennsylvania and in 2016 Democratic Minnesota in polls yesterday. Normally a convention brings at least a 5% bump and we'll know this weekend if that happens. 

15% unemployment and a mishandled pandemic by a personally obnoxious president should be a blow-away election. How can this even be close? How can the Democrats be so much more obnoxious than that? They found a way in 2016 and it looks like they're doubling down on that same tactic in 2020 hoping they can imitate the 2018 strategy. I've been a Democrat all my life and worked only for Democrats. But this is the old Republican party. And all the worst people are flocking to it while the good people quietly leave as requested to form a new People's Party probably. These DLC Neo Libs are awful strategists this year just like 2016 and more than a few people are wondering if they're not intentionally throwing this election to Trump since he was one of them. When presented with two evils my advice is usually to try the evil you haven't tried before in a good old American pragmatic way. But this  Neo-Lib crowd........ugh.

The last day of the Dems convention is running late.

 

The high point sofar is a Zoom discussion with all the Democratic presidential 2020 candidate. An amazing group. Funny, informative and charming. .Senator Sanders stood out, of  course. So did Pete.

The convention and party that could have been....a small taste in the short segment Andy Yang got finally (42% of his supporters say they will not vote for Biden now).  Julian Castro, Tulsi Gabbard and other young leaders of their generation were told they weren't welcome in the party and AOC was treated miserably. So glad to see the 13 year old boy who stutters last night at the Demoratic National Convention.  He had trouble with several words in front of the television audience, but kept trying.

 

Joe Biden also stutters and bonded with him, although not in the television segment. I guess a way to show Biden's empathy. If so, it actually worked because of the 13 year old.

Biden surprised me. The last times I had seen him he looked and sounded decrepit. Not last night, though. I wonder what enhancer he was high on.  

Anyway, it was the speech you can expect from a Center Right candidate. Now let's hope the tensions inside the anti Trump coalition and the idiots playing around them do not ruin everything. We have work to do.
