reader Posted March 16 Share Posted March 16 The recommended dimensions for a balcony from the International Building Code (IBC)Â If you look at the photo of hunk above, the height of the railing appears to fall well short of the 42 inch height in the code. The model's center of gravity is above the railing, creating an inherently unsafe condition. The article claims he was on a balcony that had no railing so I'm not sure why it included a photo of him standing on a small balcony that does. If it’s the polished balcony in the photo there’s a car flying close to it. Georgian residing in Greece, I believe. Reckless. Sad. The riverbed is dry outside of rainy season.
