  1. This is him. He comes on GR quite frequently and has posted a phone number. Looks perhaps underage with the tooth braces but claims to be 18.
  2. I believe the Malaysia Hotel has a notice to this effect. How many hotels enforce this rule ?. Since many rent boys are 18 or 19, this could be a problem having offed one or contacted on GR.
  3. The Bell Travel bus is now very popular. If you just turn up at their desk you could have a long wait for a seat. Better to book online. The bus service mentioned by travelerjim stops at three places (South Pattaya Road for Boystown) on Sukumvit Road pattaya. From there you need to make your own way to your accomodation, which could be difficult if you have luggage. Also if your are not Familiar with Pattaya its difficult to know where to get off. The Bell Travel Option is the best bus option. If you are looking to economise sharing a taxi is possible. I have succesfully approached other passengers at the luggage carousel with that suggestion. Single men are likely to be heading to Pattaya.
  4. The most luxurious gay hotel in Pattaya is the Baan Souy Resort. You can check it on their website and Tripadviser.
  5. Ok Im back to the jock
  6. Ive changed mine - or perhaps I should stick with the previous avatur ?. I love tight buttocks
  7. Z909 yours is rather nice !. I know it was taken from your own picture of a boy on Dongtan Beach which I think should score extra points.
  8. I would have to be really skint to have a wank in Pats, when other attractive options are available. I.e. Boys boys boys.
  9. I have a fetish about thongs and the way they display buttocks. I my opinion far more sexy than loose split side shorts commonly worn by gogo boys. Years ago before I discovered Thailand I used to holiday on Gran Canaria at Playa del Ingles where there is a famous gay beach. The guys were generally nude but I often wore thongs and my favorite was a black leather number. I dont have the body for it now and anyway the dress code at Dongtan would not allow.
  10. Yes jet lag seems to affect me most on my return home. For weeks I wake up at 3 am and am very sleepy in the early evening.
  11. Yes you are right. There are notices forbidding paid sex but it goes on at a low key, with younger boys whispering "500" occasionally. Some go looking for a boyfriend hooking up by the pool.
  12. Whilst I could afford the extra for business or premium economy classes I cannot justify the substantial extra cost. I can handle 13 hours of mild discomfort (UK - Thailand). I always select a centre aisle seat where the chance of a vacant adjoining seat is greater. Mind you I always give an ironic sigh when at the conclusion of the flight I hear the announcement "We hope you have enjoyed the flight and hope to see you again". Enjoy 12 hours in economy ? You cannot be serious !. To enjoy pleasure you must experience pain it is often said. Well it certainly is pleasurable arriving at my hotel, having a shower, pouring a drink and stretching out in a large comfortable bed.
  13. I will be visiting in Sptember. Offed a couple of times in March. Any boys dancing in thongs ?. I like that.
  14. Very mixed reviews on Tripadviser for Welcome Plaza, although its location is ideal. For a few years I have only stayed at predominately gay hotels in Pattaya and I think this one is not in that category. Recently I stayed at the Sansuck Guesthouse which is 100% gay.
  15. Thanks Guys Yes it wasn't a dedicated Karaoke Bar rather a bar which seems to encourage late night singing. I still remember a rendition at 1000 decibels of My Way at about 3.30 am last time I was at the Ambience. Don't get me wrong I liked the place and I didn't see any females, although it is a bit of a maze upstairs!. Don't know where I read about it going hetro - not Tripadvisor. I will no doubt stay in BT - it is after all the prime gay atea.
  16. Im in Pats for several weeks in September and am thinking where to stay. Up to 2013 I stayed a few times at the Ambience. The rooms were fine and of course the situation in BoysTown was ideal. However the last couple of times it proved to be very noisy after 1 am bar closure time and I started staying elsewhere. I know that rooms can vary depending on their position so I am wondering about giving it another try probably by emailing asking if they can offer me one of their quieter rooms. Then there is the possibility of the Copa, which might be quieter as it is away from that Karaoke bar at the exit from BT which is responsible for a lot of the post 1 am noise. Any recent experience of these two hotels ?. I need good wifi. I read somewhere that the Ambiance is not predominately gay which for me is not a recommendation.
  17. Good that Birth Dates are shown Western as well. I could never remember the Buddhist year number when checking the boy's card and was always worried that the hotel reception had checked the boy's age.
  18. Moses Ive walked Sansuk to BT and Jomtien from there quite often when Ive not got a scooter or just wanted to. Maybe 15 mins. Sorry about the spelling - not my strong point
  19. Regarding the merits of Sunee/Boystown and Jomtien a lot of the discussion has centered around the difficulties of moving between them on baht busses and the time taken due to the severe traffic congestion applying in Central Pattaya. I have always largely overcome this by renting a motor scooter, which are available for a very low price - usually 1000 baht per week An example of my daily movements using a scooter:- Staying at the Samsuck Guesthouse I said goodbye to my off at about 10 am and rode to the Tony Gym on Third Road for my daily excercise of a gym work out and swim I then rode to Jomtien and had lunch and relaxed on Dongtan Beach from about 3 pm to 5.30. I then returned back to the Samsuck where I had a nap in my room till about 7 when I had a look at the sauna activity and chatted to an acquaintance till 9 when I showered and changed and rode to Sunee where I ended up in Sunny Boys where I offed a boy at about 11. To early to return to base I took him to Jontien Complex and took in a couple of bars with him in tow. Riding back to Samsuck before 1.00 I would add that I drank hardly any alkohol the whole time. Tempting fate I state that in about 25 trips to Pattaya I have yet to have a significant accident. Renting the scooters has added a lot to my enjoyment.
  20. I am surprised that 4 members of this forum voted girl. I voted for the effeminate boy. My second choice would be man or femboy ( the one shown has no breasts) . The first three I could not contemplate. I am aware that some previously str guys have their first gay sex experiences with ladyboys which they enjoy and then try a rent boy and realise they are bisexual. There has been an explosion of ladyboy numbers in Pattaya in recent years. There are probably gay members of pattaya addicts who are there for information about hotels etc. I think I joined a couple of years ago but only logged on a couple of times. A very interesting thread !,
  21. Im right with you Biguyby as regards Songkran. I experienced it during my second trip to Pattaya I think in 2004. I had no idea what I was letting myself in for when I arranged my travel dates. Being soaking wet all day long is not my idea of fun neither is crazy drunken behaviour. I retreated to Dongtan Beach during daylight hours to be consoled by good looking boys who were there in profusion in those days.
  22. I very much agree with you Vinapu - some rooms and hotels are better than others as regards noise. I recall staying at LeCafe Royal about 5 years ago and I cant remember being troubled. Also late night noise does not effect so much, night owls who do not return to their rooms till almost dawn. I tend to go out fairly early maybe 9 ish and return to my room maybe 12 ish especially if I have an off with me. I find it hard to enjoy my bed companion if Im listening to a rendition of "I did it my way" from some drunken farang in a nearby bar. Also Im a light sleeper - I live in a very quiet location at home. Thais only know one setting for the volume knob - maximum.
  23. I often stay at the Samsuck Guesthouse, which is half way from Boystown and Jomtien. Its not too far to walk back from either - perhaps 20 minutes. Alternatively you can stop a baht bus or take a motor bike taxi. For me staying in BT or Sunee, the downside is the noise from the bars which lasts long after the official closing time. No good if you are a light sleeper.
  24. Ive bought Dvd,s on Dontang Beach. Sometimes there are many sellers but sometimes they are absent - I suppose it depends on the activities of the police. For me its often a case of thumbing through their pile if Im bored with no boys in sight. Its a bit hit and miss as the quality is variable. I usually buy one or two to play in my room in bed with my "boyfriend du jour". In March I was offered pen drives on which I was told there were many movies, but without the facility to play them in my hotel I didnt buy.
  25. Yes I could have expressed myself clearer. Im in my mid sixties NOT my boyfriends du jour.
