  1. Thay may be on something. In my city is considered common wisdom that influx of foreigners buying investment properties contributed big time to spike in real estate prices in recent years. As result city introduced steep vacant property tax
  2. probably you are much better than me handing all those " how are you ? I miss you soo much " messages
  3. and approachable, smiling at us and trying to establish an eye contact. That sharp contrast to guys from another bar well known for handsome guys.
  4. turn off the lights in the room before you start rolling in the bed with boy and you will not see any of those. I don't think tattoos are such tragedy , if it was buys wouldn't beautify themselves with ones fearing loss of business. To a degree I agree with you though, when seeing two handsome guys on the stage, one tattooed and another one not I always go with one who smiles at me broader.
  5. For me there's plenty of attractive guys in Moonlight without even waiting for models to appear. My favorite model would be Nut, there were days I was enamored with Nicky but those are gone.
  6. very fact that bar reopened means they are on upswing, no?
  7. +1, word for word, exactly my experience there. Way it worked than , main shop was on main soi (Wat Hua Lampong ) and when you mentioned you want massage by man somebody lead you to the same place shown above.
  8. First - actually no. I have Line of boys who initiated that contact. Contrary to what we may think and regretfully in few cases, not everybody offered or asked about Line. Second - it's not how I operate. I prefer to show unannounced for two reasons: vanity because I like to see their reaction and practicality, since I don't want to be tied with messages from minute I leave train at Phaya Thai. I have few guys who never stop sending me messages of " when can I see you ?" type if they know I'm there. I find this kind of attention overwhelming. Actually out f 7 boys I feel like missing on my first three days I did have contact of only one.
  9. No doubt result of invasion of Ukraine by Moldova
  10. Differences in visa regimes you describe have simple source, chances are that few Thai visitors to Russia would be opting to extend their stay there past visa while Western countries may be much more attractive and tempting to overstay. generally speaking there two kinds of visa policies in the wide world. Reciprocity - this is what Russia along with many countries is practising and it means that each country grants the same privileges , often also the same level of visa pricing to citizens of other coutries. Practicality - if country is interested in tourist dollar , sometimes also in showing good will toward other party more than grandstanding it's releasing visa regime from their side without expecting the same treatment other way- Thailand is good example.
  11. I'd like to hear about that lack of racism from Tajik or Kyrgyz workers there. About snobbery - just glance at stores lining Moscow's main avenues.
  12. I know quite a few so-called Vietnamese boat people who would be greatly offended that their suffering was summarized that way
  13. too bad Russian oligarchs and top level politicians don't know it and are still sending their families to EU countries plus UK and USA and buying real estate there right , left and center.
  14. I did to, one of most pleasurable moments on vacations there are those morning updates " how did your guy turned out?". Hope now you have good grasp of how Silom works , obviously you do if you managed to beat me to that gorgeous Khim, lol
  15. good idea as ice just dilutes gin's potency. Ask them if they serve gin and tonic vinapu way - 60 % of gin and 40% of gin
  16. highly unlikely as for all I know our readers are neither show performers nor bar boys. Thank you for putting list together.
  17. I hope weather will co-operate
  18. Day 9, last one. All good things come to an end. After O left I tidied myself , packed whatever meager possession I had with me plus soap and coffee I always take home from Thailand. At 8 we had last breakfast with bkkmfj who decided to stay few more days in Bangkok. It seems he did not waste that time and got acquainted with certain Cambodian. My flight was at 12.30 and there are a lot of good things I can say about daytime flights , no matter how long. In airport it was breeze again, in 20 minutes I was already past of all procedures ready to board. 12 hours and 2 books later I was back in Amsterdam and at midnight I landed at my destination. It was only 8 days in Thailand but thinking back - it was one hell of time and certainly seemed much longer. On the day of departure , events from Pattaya , just week before seemed like very distant memory. That is advantage of being busy on vacations. When bkkmfj expressed an idea of going with me to Bangkok I was happy wsith idea but since we never spent more than few hours over drinks and bar hopping together, I had one hope – he will not turn out to be one of those people we all met on our travels - one of type which when asked ‘ so what do you want to do after lunch ?’ answer ‘ doesn’t matter” and when you say “ ok , then lets go to Golden Mount “ they immediately counter “ why not to Grand Palace?” By grace of God , we did not have any such exchanges. In fact he adhered very well to mantra I always use when travel with company – ‘ we travel together but everybody is on his own vacation” so if we need to split for hour , half or even whole day there’s no drama. Things worked very well, thank you bkkmfj. Sorry for all that hotel hoping but I’m gladly adding both Heaven’s Boutique and De Arni to my roster of places to be considered. I knew this before but this trip enforced old wisdom that it’s better not to built a trip around boys we expect or hope to see, 4 guys in Pattaya gone for good or temporarily. Two at Jupiter- the same, on eat Banana- added to the list od MIAs. And that is only first's 3 day harvest. Lesson learned and in future it will be whoever life will push my way. Dreams are good but reality even better I’m glad Senso returned back to my schedule and both guys from there compensated for those few which were missing somewhere else. There may be those who area longing to days of old when bars were full, boys dancing almost naked and drinks half price but I’m happy to report that Thailand continues to be mine of fun and digging it it’s very east and still affordable. All we need is money , nothing new here an desire to look for fun, that proverbial half full part of glass.
  19. I did not get an impression you are that shy, he, he.
  20. don't worry about anything and just go. Forget statistics about the island, after all so many people in Pattaya jumped from balconies and somehow you are not one of them.
  21. when one is thinking about moving permanently to another country and considers tax issues as one of primary importance, my first advice would be to re-examine his priorities. Taxation should be not primary , not even secondary consideration, tertiary at the best if not even further down. My comment is not directed at anybody but comes from well rehearsed personal experience in both areas as those who know me can attest.
  22. you beat me to him, that's sure thing. When comes to an access to boys , no doubt you as local are in much better, enviable position
  23. robbing bank seems to be easier, after all that is where money is
  24. I meant incentive to Keithambrose. Certainly I'm not in position to spent serious money on accommodation in Dusit Thani or any other 5 stars
