  3. good point as I always wondered which is which until we met in Le Meridien and now I know better
  4. There were such rumors in the past so finally in Januray I decided to check how it really is and I did not have any problems with neither bringing my guest at middle of the night nor having him accompany me for breakfast there. So as far as I'm concerned it's included on 'ready for use ' list . Entry to elevators is by card and is bypassing reception for added level of discretion.
  5. I never stay at Bandara suites , friend who stay there recently liked it but was complaining about being noisy due to a lot of families with children staying there. I stay in Bally Suites, it was not that noisy but their windowless rooms felt bit claustrophobic. Still good value for money and location very handy for us sinners.

  10. I stay in Venue on few occasions. I liked rooms but those facing complex can be noisy indeed. Once it was so noisy that I got upset and went down to bar to have a drink. Waiter who brought it asked concerned ' are you sleeping alone tonight? " to which I answered ' no, with you ", soon we were back in the room and somehow noise did not bother me that much anymore

  13. +1 indeed one may even get " a look" if it's not bringing any guests and they may think he is spy or something For those really concerned about discretion Raya is unbeatable. Reception is on 5th floor an if your room is on other floor nobody ever will see you nor your guest. Even if it's on 5th floor you can always go with your gust to floor 4 and then climb the stairs in the back 1 floor up. This is what I did on my recent trip I just returned from
  14. looks far on map but in reality if you use BTS you can be at Saphan Kwai station in 20-25 mins from SalaDaeng which is less than walk to Prince
  15. looks that era of trouble free travel on short notice we enjoyed in last 30-40 years is coming to an end. Yes , it may be factor in selecting destinations. I personally know people who would not travel to any country requiring visa just as matter of principle.
