Afghanistan - Yet Another US Mistake Is Now Happening!
vinapu replied to PeterRS's topic in The Beer Bar
I wonder what's the covid situation in Afghanistan, from the sound of it all it's problem everywhere worldwide but none there ? True, not may foreign arrivals but one of hotspots, Iran is just next door ? -
if only thing required will be proof of vaccination and perhaps pre-departure test, I'll go. Any certificates of entry , quarantines and other bureaucratic nonsenses, sorry , no
-
what about all those temples, palaces and blue waters of Chao Praya river not to mention ruins of soi Twilight ?

I found binge watching more enjoyable, not necessarily in one go but without being distracted by other series in meantime, in fact out of my six best liked Thai BL I was watching only '1000 stars" I watched as it was released episode by episode
-
I wonder what you say about 'I promised you the moon" as I did not watch it yet. Somehow I'm in tiny minority because I did not like "I told sunset about you" as much as ALL others . I agree about Mean good job as director. I was not fan of Mean /Tin couple either Waiting impatiently for "Bad Buddy" ( o my Ohm ! ) and "Baker Boys"

sad but perhaps inevitable considering how slow trains were moving on the last leg toward Hualampong. At least good that they are not planning to demolish station . In my opinion , considering existing infrastructure , MRT connection and central location they still should use it for one-line shuttle service to / from new Bang Sue station.

Police raid Samut Prakan field hospital after reports of group sex

I think separation is common everywhere but covid emergency hospitals are set in large hangars so separation may not be that easy, advantage taken by many sex-hungry opportunists and who can blame them considering how boring stay in hospital is if one is not really THAT suffering -

and , considering we are talking about world's oldest profession, it's not a surprise -
yes , MBK, my bad, retail therapy is not my strong trait

I don't know why but somehow I share your optimism. I canceled my Oct ticket and some hotel reservations I made but still have a feeling sanity with dose of greed will prevail and next bookings will be those finally utilized.

I like what ChristianPFC wrote somewhere recently 'no covid is a problem but various government's reaction to it" . Thailand is not only country paranoid about foreigners, but that's no consolation. Australia apparently is not even letting in it's own people stuck abroad

and some people sat sex in in long time decline in Thailand.... -
it's only 16 months away

I'm watching Yearbook the series, another one with setting in provincial Thailand. First two episodes so so but then third one comes with a BANG and unusual at that so all of the sudden my curiosity as of what's next ? skyrocketed

no doubt lots of cute guys take part as last picture attests !

don't worry , you did right thing. It's time for us to start reclaiming our lives and letting people to make their own living

all depends of what ' near future means", for me it's no more than next 2 months and than I'll start sniffing around for opportunities

with that usually comes desire to earn money to repay that debt

no country will be the same and so won't us after pandemic. But desires to earn some easy money and to spent it on some willing warm body will be still there. Recovery may be prolonged or swift like Afganistan's collapse but will happen , at least to some degree for reason above. If bars won't open soon than those who will come at least get a chance to see more Thailand behind just soi 4 and Boyztown. Many of us 2 weeks millionaires never set a foot in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Sukhotai, Kanchanaburi, Samui, Krabi etc. It took me 16 trips before I sent my foot in MBM and I doubt I'm alone, how many of us did not visit Wat Halampong or Snake Farm, literally just steps from our beloved soi Twilight. So instead of sowing gloom which may or may not happen we better start planning how to be busy in case when Moonlight or Nice Boys won't be opened. And still is worth to remember that by end of day / literally, again / we need only one bar and one boy from that bar. We have heat wave and as expected my A/c broke last night. This morning I went without any hope to see if at least one , scratched and damaged will be left in store. Miraculously in the 4th one I visited was one leftover , still unsealed. Bought, installed and is humming nicely, how not to be an optimist?

When we return so will shops and boys. It may not be immediate but I think relatively fast. The same like with many of those closed business in our countries. Whether Prince will re-open in it's location it may be different question as it was sitting on piece of prime real estate

Thai Airways to resume int’l and domestic flight operations
vinapu replied to reader's topic in Gay Thailand
your concerns are valid but I wouldn't worry until very close to decision about travel . Rules are inconsistent from nation to nation and are changing more often than some people underwear. I don't even start about sense some of them make. So while we mentally may be prepared for scenario A in fact version D.1.7 will apply at time of our travel. Only thing we can do is to be prepared to jump at first feasible opportunity.
