I'm thinking along the same lines but figured out for my own use that if I need to economize I'd shed cheap massages and offing unknown boys in favor of overpaying known quality. This was not a first trip when I noticed that most expensive meetings were also most enjoyable. #10 from Winners was noble exception. It's actually good news as it means that I got what I paid for , capitalism at work. Advantage of offing known quality is also fact that one doesn't need to buy any drinks - I come , wave boy over, pay off fee and off we go discuss municipal elections in Timor Leste

no need to get robbed - 1100 buys you 1.5 hr in standard room, still plenty but more reasonable. My Hero is in the same location, some boys are the same but apparently there's new owner and in comparison to days of old , place is spruced up considerably. But glass wall and boys behind the glass are still there

area is small and bars aplenty , just have slow walk and keep your eyes open and you will find what you are looking for , truckload of boys there at Jomtien.

I like to spend time with naked young men although my definition of young goes all the way to 35 years and rarely I have anything to do with boys younger than 25, simply I’m wired that way and 25-35 is my target as they say. May be I’m too lazy to check ID and I’m making my life easy that way ? When going to Thailand I want to maximize such time and that is a reason for my 2 massages a day. I see therapeutic benefits as well. Even if I’m generally of very good health , from time to time age shows, pain here and there, relieved by skillful massage at least for a while. I noticed also that frequent massages are helping me to rest – I don’t sleep much when there and still most days I’m rarely tired and craving some sleep. My main reason for frequent massages is that I like experience, all those wandering hands, boy’s jewels pressed against my foot or hand pretending to be resting at edge of massage bed, hard cock poking me from behind, all that massage liturgy and decorum. This is MY reason for two massages a day if not more / day 9 above = three /, other may have other motives. As for spending question while a bit nosy, it’s justified. I don’t keep day to day spending tab but have very good and accurate idea how much I spent on every trip on door to door basis, up to 100 baht accurate. It’s not difficult as flight and insurance as well as hotels are prepaid using credit card, all other expenses on my way and at destination I pay cash so it’s very easy to count what I’m taking with me plus cash withdrawals if any / usually they are on last 2-3 days even if this is not cost effective way of financing due to bank charged on both ends / minus any money I’m bringing back home / rarely from Thailand but usually from other destinations as I hate to be short of cash on vacation /. Still I’m not keen on quoting it here how much I spent for two reasons: My holidays are quite intensive with corresponding tab , look at last trip of 13 days, 1 day with one off, 5 days with two offs or massages , 6 days with three and one, day 9th with four. On day 12 I visited 8 bars and in each I paid at least my drink. Some people may balk at such extravagance and even find it tiring but I’m not flying that far to skimp on my fun. I did not like some comments related to spending ,particularly my tipping practices on my last few reports. Some people seem not to understand that is only up to spender to assess whether he got good value for his money or not. On more than one occasion what others counted as extravagant and unnecessary high I have feeling that I still underpaid considering experience ( certainly case with two meetings with M at Senso this trip ) but they were cases when I stick to minimum tip payment and still think my money was wasted. But I see validity of request to help others with budgeting so here are numbers based on what I paid. Flight and medical emergency insurance 19500 baht. Hotels 14 nights paid but only 12 used as first night I was still on my way and last night I left at 11 p.m. but paid for the whole night to have access to the room till last minute -19400 baht. Nothing extravagant with exception of 2 nights in Ambiance penthouse. Transportation negligible in great scheme of things , no limo to Pattaya , no taxi to airport. Meals , I don’t keep separate tab but I’m not great on food although treated myself and boy with dinner at mango Tree for 1730 but other than that my breakfasts were 80-200 and lunches / dinners from 200 /Salt and Pepper / to 300-350 the most including beer. I don’t think I had more than 2 meals a day any given day being energized enough by sight and feel of all those beautiful boys. Massages , from 300 /hr. in most Pattaya places all the way to 1490 / 1.5 hr at Senso, tips – I usually tip 1000 / hr , 1500 / 1.5 hr but if experience was great I was happy to add 100-500 to amounts quoted. Bar hopping , drinks from 120 if I remember at Winners all the way to 400-450 in some Bangkok bars, boys drinks the same , in some bars bit less , in some bit more. But I generally buy boy drink only if considering offing him for first time. In most bars on departure I leave 100 baht tip to best looking boy I did not off and I tip 100 each f***ck show participants if any, If I have boy sitting with me but I don’t take him , depending of how long I was holding his hands I give him 100-200. Off fee (payment to bar / massage for taking boy out ) - 400-600. Tip for the boy – Long time 1200 if you call 3-9 a.m. long time at Jomtien, through 2000 in Pattaya to 3000 and 4000 in Bangkok. Short time , from 1200 through 1500 to 2000 and 2500. Now if somebody is really interested in constructing trip budget is easy to plan activities and corresponding expenses or do what I do, just fill up pockets with money and go to have fun but monitor every day how far you are from depleting your funds. This is how I regulate my pace. Hope it helped

relax, at 1200 for 1.5 hr of oil massage it's still 300 cheaper than Senso but it's only 650 for 1.5 hr at Nakarat in the mouth of soi 4 so as long as we have a choice we have a chance

you are overreacting, that's normal course of any conversation - gets derailed here and there, you talk about Rome sooner or later somebody will ask you if you saw a pope. You may be extolling charms of Grand Palace and Chao Praya river and mysterious Ayuthaya ruins upon return from Thailand but sooner or later somebody asks you if you went to Patpong. Nobody tries to take high moral ground here - we are already there.

Vessey is right, it takes a bit of work - fact is it took me longer to put report together than trip itself, LOL I can take criticism - I read all my reports posted here from 2013 on about twice a year, usually when I miss Thailand to a itchy point and I think they are very dry but if some like them I'm happy. I believe my report may be an inspiration for some to do this or that because I'm the same - I got a lot of ideas from reading reports on this forum and forum in general and from talking / e-mailing with our members. Few examples from last trip - visit to Dreamboys Bangkok and lodging at Baan Silom, Classrooms and D'Varee, dining at Kiss, Salt and Pepper and Das Berliner, spending 2 nights for first time ever at Jomtien Complex - all members inspired ventures. It were our members who dragged me to Winners , Nice Boys and Toy Boys, not my usual hunting grounds and I'm glad they did because I liked boys I offed from Winners ( my first ever from Sunee ) and ToyBoys. So it's good to hear some had fun reading that reports because I had fun putting it together not to mention being there to gather materials to write about, LOL I will respond to financial questions from few posts soon.

Some finishing notes about this trip. China Eastern , even if plane was late took good, no fuss care of delayed passengers so no complains from me, hope will have a chance to use them again. Planes are newish, in flight service good and few male attendants handsome. Food too Asian to my taste but definitely edible so again no complains. Even if I was sitting at end of aircraft choices were still available which doesn’t always happens when I fly (always in the back wherever I go ). Bangkok immigration lines this time were short and airport railway station exchange counters had one of the best rates I saw this trip. In 2 weeks I changed hotels 7 times because I like, no disappointments, with The Venue , Classrooms and Baan Silom particularly good value with big rooms although none of those , neither D’Varee Baily nor Copa had breakfast included , either by design or because I did not buy such option ( D’Varee). Nantra Silom is still best budget option and I like simple furnishings. I doubt I will stay at D’Varee again because I did not like windowless room but location is excellent +. As for boys both Arts, one from BoyzBoyzBoyz ( 5 offs this trip ) and another one from Nakarat along with Boonthon from Tawan and M from Senso were true shining stars with M I had best chemistry, Boonthoon had best body and with both Arts I had most fun. There were few almost as memorable , # 10 from Winners, # 43 from ToyBoys, Ko and Kao from Copa and perhaps most handsome of them all, Dom also from Copa. With another massage by Dit from Arena he is firmly my boy most offed, including massages. Arena is by far most friendly massage place and Senso , closely followed by MyHero had most handsome boys. I did not have any disappointments although few boys could do better but at least those were ones I did not spoil with excessive tips. Nicest surprise were smiling boys at Jupiter and saddest part was absence of Bank from BoyzBoyzBoyz. What I surprised myself with was fact that I was still there when I realized how much I will miss Thailand when I return home, I think it was my first such pre-emptive feel ever. This was first trip I spent more time in Pattaya / 8 nights / than in Bangkok, not sure I will do it again as my problem there is what to do during day and with exception of Copa massages are much better in BKK. Also this was first time in Thailand I had some, mild thankfully , stomach problems. Thank you to our members biguyby, Christian PFC, aussie_, williewillie , TMax and xiluzer for finding time to meet me and for all time we spent together. Meeting and bar hopping with fellow contributors is always shining moment of any trip. As for energy I think I need to start slowing down as I had few days when I slept almost till noon which happened rarely before. Even enthusiasm can' t make up for good sleep it seems.

Day 13, the last one unfortunately. In the morning regular routine, shower and walk with boy to Foodland Patpong for a breakfast. I was surprised with his choice as he ordered some salad, not regular Asian or Buddha forbid , farang breakfast. No problem , his choice my expense, LOL. After all I invited him. Then he went to BTS and I returned to the room , if only to pick up umbrella because it was in plain view that rain will start very soon and it did. Armed with umbrella I took BTS to a National Stadium and then to Bangkok Arts and Culture Center to see “Caravaggio, opera omnia “ exhibition of high tech copies of his paintings I tried to visit on my first day but it was closed then. Very interesting , in particular that I remembered some of those from St Luigi Franchesci / spelling ? / French church in Rome. Spent there good two hours , enough to outwait rain as it turned out. Then to internet café in Silom to check out for my fight , on long hauls I like aisle seat at end of aircraft and even if I booked it when bought a ticket I wanted just to be sure I get what I want. Next stop planned was Asiatique so jump on BTS to Saphan Taksin where I learned that free boat starts only at 4 p.m. so I used it as excuse and left visit there for a next trip. Immediately I decided that seeing again Art at Nakarat massage will result in my time being better spent and on approach I saw him already beaming smile seeing me walking so all I need was only a gesture and we walked up to a reception where Art suggested 1.5 hr massage fore 650 which was very good sign that he was as happy with yesterday’s session as I was. I mean I was w happy with session and he was happy with tip. I was treated by room with the bathtub, upscale setting for upscale service and even more upscale in terms of beauty, boy. I like 1.5 better than 1 hr because it leaves more time for both massage and that second part, both of them were excellent plus. But even if they wouldn’t be that boy is one of those few I’d be happy to tip just for holding hands with him - highest standard on my scale. Fact is , indecent stuff notwithstanding , that after two session with him pain from my upper right shoulder seem to be gone for good. Gladly overtipped him hoping I future he still will be there and energized amorously I decided to kiss good bye to another gem of massage boy , hired twice already this trip – M at Senso. Short walk there and a bit of long face – he was nowhere to be seen. Mamasan told me he is with client and will be free in ½ hr but this was not an option for me today as I had some other commitments that busy afternoon and evenings. Resigned to my fate started surveying boys available – all handsome hunks but one won me with his, of course smile. Lets go for 1 hr session and as soon as we were ready to climb stairs who showed up ? M with his client. I was tempted to give my boy his tip , dismiss him and take M instead but it’s not really my style so just smiled at M , justified my betrayal by him not being there and went with Nat, originally chosen boy. Good English , he turned out to be student. Not a bad massage although a bit on light side but he had other advantages so even if I missed M big time , I was very happy with substitute. 1000 baht massage fee, 1200 minimum tip plus 100 for that smile and I was back on street realizing I’m bit hungry but fortunately on the corner of Sala Daeng and Silom was cart with banana pancakes so I ordered one immediately and while I was waiting for my order somebody pat me gently on the back. Xiluzer ! He is our member and contributes from time to time, we met many times in the past, visited many bars and massages together since we like exactly the same types but somehow never fought about the boy. I knew he is coming today and will be staying in the same hotel but still meeting by chance on busy street was a surprising treat. It turned out he just arrived and is coming straight from airport. He had some plans for next few hours and I had to meet somebody briefly in 1/2 hr. ( nothing gay nor sinister ) so we agreed to meet at 8 p.m. in my room. I went to my meeting than returned to my room to pack up my meager belongings, only thing I bought this trip to take home was refrigerator magnet and bar of tamarind soap. At 8 knock to the door and not only Xiluzer was there but also his friend L whom I met few times either. After brief chat and such happy reunion we set for Madrid Tavern for a dinner with plan to visit Jupiter after. On our way to Madrid we passed by Nakarat massage boys which gave me a chance to get last smile from Art. After dinner they wanted to see where new bars are so we went a bit circular way through Patpong 2 where my last night companion greeted me in front of Tokyo Boys but we had just a peek inside and marched to soi 4 to Jupiter. Drink price 300, paid before entry. Inside, despite early hour – it was just past 9 , pretty good crowd, lots of seats around the stage already reserved but they found us some cozy corner, drinks arrived and we started to butter our eyes with boys on display. One of them was Oud , transplant from Tawan I offed many times in the past so after joyful reunion I invited him for a drink if only to have close access to his well defined muscles. Parade of boys was not only eye candy as in the past , nice surprise for me were smiles. In the past boys kept somber and serious look, tonight lots of smiles, even I had few directed at me , no doubt due to fact I was sitting with one of them. Very pleasant evening but unfortunately just before show started at 10.45 it was time to say good bye to Xiluzer and L, Oud was already preparing for a show. Short walk to the hotel, suitcase taken, BTS to Phaya Thai and last train to the Swampy. Time to go home as this is condition to return. Fortunately long flight back was uneventful and plane landed at time scheduled on the dot. 17th trip to Land of Smiles was over.

now I feel better, few times I was accused of spoling market by paying 4000 baht / 130 USD / for long time i.e. all nighter to some local Thai talent, usually very well built so in comparison to 4500 baht per hour I feel I got very good deal, not that I had any doubts about it before. lol

this is what I do , go to a massage place and take best boy. When passing by places where boys are sitting outside and I see somebody I like chances are I will take him right away, there;'s nothing in book saying I can have only one massage a day. Problem with trying to check all places is that best looking boy may be gone by time all that survey is completed. That lesson applies to bars too , you see boy you like, grab him right away before I open door and do the same, snatching boy before you move

flying through Shanghai earlier this month I opted for automatic gates only to see that people who went through agent were processed faster, not that I cared as I had 4 hrs waiting time anyways. I like those machine as they don't ask all those stupid questions ' where you coming from" . "what you did there" agents use to ask like it makes any difference on admission.
