  1. exactly , after all if we offed boys few times I guess we wouldn't be introducing him to our parents if they happened to be in Bangkok at the same time
  2. and several packages of 300 baht tips ready.
  3. considering difference in drink prices 250/480 and off fees 400/650 it doesn't come as surprise. Even cherished Chinese tour groups may learn that cheaper entertainment may be had somewhere else. Such a deep cut in salary bobsaigon mentioned may mean that bar is in trouble or owner doesn't care anymore or both or subtle hint ' you better find another job before I fire you "
  4. this is why we love Thailand, whatever her faults are country is still a place when one can really buy a dream. "I can't believe " that was exactly feeling quite a few of us had more than once after boys left or when we waked up next to boy still sleeping, looking at him with that ' It can't be truth" thought, getting hot in here, lol
  5. there's something in old saying that one can't go to the same river twice. Encounters with the some boy after a while of separation sometimes are bit disappointing and I can say , it works for both sides. We have our expectancies , boys have theirs and all of the sudden several month later it looks half of fun for some reason is gone. We are disappointed because boys is not as clingy and goods looking as he seemed last time, boy offed few times previously is expecting this will be case this time and all of the sudden instead of sweet candies we have sour cherries. Mercifully it's not a rule of law and often boy reserved or overlooked first time , now is smiling and warm and we wonder how we could overlook him first time. Good to know another trip is in the books so we can wait patiently for another fabulous report of yours. You are correct about danger of BurBoy understanding more, it just means when you will be meeting farang friends , don't tag him along or if you do , subject of boys , bars , offs etc should be avoided at any costs. As for locked threads you are correct , we had more of those this years that in last 4-5 before combined. Perhaps some posters should realize that is good to make the some point in argument once, top twice and then move on. It's fallacy to think that drilling it to no end, thinking that winning an arguments prevents them from looking , how to say it politely , incompatible perhaps.
  6. Walk along the Suriwong toward soi Twilight and some shops should be opened. Take gut who takes your fancy and you set. I'd try Health Massage in silom 64 building but I'm not sure how early they open
  7. I agree that Maxi's is best people watching spot in the soi, particularly good for shy types who can pretend they are just having a meal / drink while in fact they are ogling boys undistirbed. A bit surprised by non-smiling Dreamboys policy , they used to smile a lot. Best way to ensure boy one is interested in smiles is to slip him a tip , just like you did. Than it makes easy to call him over as well. Farang can walk Thainya undisturbed as ladies there are interested in Japanese , perhaps other Asians too, only . Great report from soi Twilight ,I read it twice, thank you. Waiting for more !!!
  8. ever since one American lady at complemented me on my choice of boy ( he was from Arena , we were watching show at XBoys ) I'm not against ladies in the bars , after all those are boy bars , not gay bars. But I agree that sometimes they are too imperious taking all the attention and I witnessed similar scenes in the old Jupiter. Hey, nothing stops us from opening two bottles and two packs of cigarettes and see what happens, LOL
  9. jump on the train on 23 rd and you will be there just in time for the show
  10. Did you check Air Asia and Nok Air websites ?
  11. Exactly this is what you described., not for very ticklish though. Few places around Silom/ Suriwong offer this , even more in Khao San area. Look for sign ' fish massage ' or big tank with water.
  12. me too but obviously OP is not shy. It shows that we all are getting kicks out of different things when come to sex. What I'm impressed with it's planning, quite often when leave my hotel it's only on the street where I decide whether to turn left or right and here we have move planned three weeks ahead. For me it would be taking a bit of fun from vacation time but I understand some people like security , it's is after all why we are usually booking our hotels in advance.
  13. sure , we say there are other boys, boys I guess say , there are other farangs
  14. in my opinion best prevention of theft from wallet is not to use wallet at all. It's bulky, sticks out from pocket and it's easy target. Neither when travel nor at home I use one. When travelling I keep maximum one card on me , rest is in money belt in the safe. As mentioned previously I devised system of distributing money between various pockets of my shirt and shorts and each is loaded with the same amount thus when leaving room I always know how much I have on me. Sometime later quick pat on the pocket in question either shows that money is there and if not I can identify where it went ie. no money in the right back pocket - where the hell I spent 500 baht ? Aha, it went to pay for a dinner at Oasis and then fish massage on Suriwong
  15. My advice I'm using fore myself also is to keep all your valuables you don't need immediately in the money belt and money belt itself next to skin inside your underwear. That way your money and documents are secured, all in one place. If you need to take something out , find public washroom or change room in the department store. Once in your room all neatly goes to the safety deposit box. I use it from time immemorial and never had a problem, just remember there are only 2 places for the belt: on you or in the safe.
  16. man, we need to shake hands one day since we seem to have the same sort of problems while there / underscore mine / your trips description shows that an adventure while travelling can be had almost everywhere, now we are waiting patiently for soi Twilight meat market impressions, boy I miss Bangkok so much !
  17. natural resources in 21 century don't seem to be such blessing they were at end of 19th. Lots of countries sitting on plenty of that stuff are not exactly paragon of prosperity for many reasons . Good governance is what counts nowadays , not stuff in the ground, enough to mention Japan , Singapore or Taiwan, not exactly mining countries but ones who manage to mine their citizens brains and industriousness
  18. no necessarily an obstacle, say you are on platform at 3 p.m. and train from Surin , planned arrival 1.30 is late 90 minutes and is about to roll in the station , been there , done that.
  19. consider option of going by train from Hualampong station , takes about 50 minutes and costs only 5 baht, slow but better than nerve wracking being stuck in traffic. From train station it's just air bridge over the road and you are in terminal
  20. still plenty of them live and run businesses there. Not that you are wrong but we shouldn't be painting Cambodia as kind of lawless wild west, those days seem to be gone as country discovers that milking foreigners for providing actual services is more lucrative than robbing them at gun point.
  21. yes, it's like "you can have any beer you want as long as it's Singha or Chang"
  22. few months ago paulsf posted equally uplifting story about wallet missing in the taxi, thread was called 'Different kind of happy ending". Most of us agree that considering temptation Thai moneyboys are very honest. It doesn't mean we should be leaving wads of money in the open but doesn't make any sense to be paranoid. And leave those golden chains and watches at home , we don't have ' do not lead us into temptation' in Lord's prayer for nothing. as a general note - often when we travel it's other travelers we should be watching more than locals. Never heard about problems in gay bars but my straight friends whoring in Nana and soi Cowboy reported about all of the sudden friendly farangs joining the table and after few rounds drinks leaving for the washroom , tab unpaid , not to be seen again.
  23. Great report and even greater is the fact that you promised report of your trip and you kept your word. If you tell me whom you offed from Tawan I will tell you who another admirer of #44 from Jupiter is here. LOL Clearly on your first night you are taking the same route I'd take , Jupiter & Tawan in any order. Hope you had fun in Kanchanaburi today

    New to Thailand

welcome to the forum , if you did not discover thread about information for newbies you may wish to get acquainted with it http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/11227-newbies-advice-bar-etiquette-and-more/
  25. You don't even need to justify your actions. Just do what you are comfortable with , whether those are photos, description of activities , place you stay , names boys you re with etc . and leave out whatever you see fit. I think everybody here will understand, sure they may ask you this or that, which you may or may not to give answer to but you will be OK with everybody if you decide to refuse answer or provide it by PM to chosen ones only. You will not find any people photos and description of room activities in my reports and so far nobody tried to crucify me for that. I kind of compensate by providing their nicks and numbers but even if somebody skips these I think we all understand. They are others who provide graphics but made identifying boy as hard as possible and this is fine as well IMHO . We have our privacy and are entrusted to a degree with boys privacy as well although those who are pointing out that we may actually help boys to increase their traffic have one big point.
