  1. Yes. Death accident is not contagious. Covid-19 is. And we have seen much wealthier countries with much better healthcare being overwhelm by covid-19 and death counts were in ten of thousands because they didnt shut down their economy early enough. Thailand death toll is low because they of this, and they will continue to do all they can to avoid being the next USA (used to be italy, and before that, wuhan)
  2. There are two ways i can think of to contain the virus while still partially allowing some area to be functioning. One, allow green area, (where no new cases in 14 days) to function as normal, but restrict travelling only within green area. Basically this will involved full lockdown on areas that is not green. Whether this is feasible or not, its another story. Second mass testing of all the provinces that are still having new cases. By doing this, those who are positive can be isolated hence spreading can be stopped. Again, not many countries can do this. We know enough that asymptomatic person can be tested positive, and they might still able to spread the virus, so again, just temperature screening wont do. Mass testing will help for sure.
  3. The only sure fireway to contain imported cases is 14 days quarantine after arrival as some people who tested positive shows no symptoms, which render temperature screening less successful, and some even tested negative first but later on tested positive during quarantine. Malaysia had started to isolate returning citizens in quarantine centers few weeks ago and more than 50 were in fact positives, but many not showing symptoms as they are young students from various countries, mainly indonesia though. Singapore recent hike in cases are majority from work permit holder living in dormitaries, making the country highest total case in SE Asia in matter of days. Due to this, malaysia is now mass testing our own pool of foreign workers, with recent full lockdown area in KL where 15k of residents will be tested. Now, i wonder if thailand will follow suit and mass testing their foreign workers as well. Social distancing is an ideal case but tell me if you lives in a dorm room along with 10 others, how efective will it be. Social distancing is a luxury some people cant afford. I know i sounded negative, i too want borders to be opened as soon as possible, but not in the expense of breaking out happening again and we repeat the cycle of lockdown all over again. One lockdown is bad enough.
  4. International Tourist will never come if they are required to be quarantined for 14 days at the start of their vacation. Even for long term tourist, 2 weeks of isolation is not a way to start your vacation. Boys from other countries who comes to work using 14days free visa will definitely not coming to be quarantined for 14 days either. So only boys who are able to get longer work permit, and thai boys will be able to work in bars. Until they lift the 14 days quarantine, which i believe not going to happen anytime soon, most people would refrain from travelling there.
  5. This lockdown made me sensitive to everything! Oh how i miss spooning and cuddling lol
  6. spooner than later? I take offense!
  7. I havr a confession. I get all excited when i see the title and thought it says irfan fandi's massage. I knew it mustve been too good to be true lol
  8. Just to give an idea, food industry and their value chain will be in dire need of additional workers to meet the demand during lockdown. Few company like tesco and postal services here already posting advertisement looking for workers, so if you have friends there, maybe this could be a chance for them to still find work during this trying time. I recall when my grandparent told us during world war II, most houses plant casava and potatoes, and basically lives off them for few years, and current situation should be less dire as most food industry is still operating.
  9. So lucky that you still have a wet dream lol
  10. Sad reality. Why the thai gov cant give them help when they are still thai citizen? I can understand if they are foreign workers.
  11. Night curfew during state of emergency usually done when its hard to differentiate between citizen and enforcement/enemy due to lack of light, making surveillance less effective. Of course in most extreme cases, going out during night curfew might get yourself shot. Itll also help the enforcement, as as yoh correctly point out, usually there are less people around at night, so is enforcement at night. Night curfew will increase the enforcement at night as well. Most crimes also occur at night, and people might try to cross border, travel outside lockdown area at night as well. To me any kind of curfew will help.
  12. Yeah we dont know when. The prediction is for when its over, whenever that is. I also want to add that due to this lockdown, many boys i follow have more time to work out. Of course they have to improvise unless they have a home gym. But that also means they will be ripped when they finally can go back to bar. On the other hand, i also see some boys complained of gaining weight due to staying at home.
  13. My prediction is as soon as thailand and many other countries started to open up their borders, we will see big bars (the like of moonlight, lucky boys, jupiter, BBB in pattaya) will see a surge of boys eager to start earning money back. Unfortunately, the well off, popular boys might not be eager to return early due to fear of the virus still lingers and most likely they are well enough (either by savings or by sponsors) to even have that option. Fortunately, a range of new boys will begin to show up in bars as well. This will be those who are heavilly affected by the virus, especially those in tourism or businesses relying on tourists, as well as those affected due to lockdown (basically any industries not included in essential services, including construction, retails etc). The quality will be mixed and distribution as always few of high quality, majority will be average. Businesses will definitely start to close down as they cant take the hit of not be able to operate for 1-2 months. This includes bars and massage places too. But we see this happened every year anyway. But fear not, while it may takes a while, new ones will open soon. Meanwhile, the bars that actually manage to stay open will see increase of patronage and will enjoy a great amount of income initially. Thai economy will definitely suffer, and recovery will be slow but i believe the sex industry will be amongst the first to recover. There is a reason why prostitution is the oldest profession in the world.
  14. Yup, i know aboout glove as one of the factory is very close to my parents' house. I guess makes sense that anything latex related will be produced as well
  15. I dont even know we produced 1/5 of world supply of condom in malaysia lol. I hope due to lockdown, demand for condom will also goes down. I mean, u cant go out whoring anyway lol. So the use might be limited to contraception.
  16. Now we are talking the same wavelength lol
  17. They might or might not includes those who have permenant residency in thailand or not. And retirement visa too. Better ask immigration directly.
  18. No country that is badly affected by this virus will entertain health cert when all resources should be focused on the sick. So yeah, way to closed their borders without really closing borders.
  19. Im afraid i cant afford a whole month though
  20. A quick question, where is the border crossing the boys stuck at? My guess is cambodia/vietnam?
  21. He is taken lol i got dibs first ahahah
  22. If only malaysia dont have travel restriction now, i might be tempted to help out the boys too. No bar fee seems like a great deal already lol
  23. 14 days is the quarantine period. Thats the logic there. Though infection can still happened elsewhere.
  24. Their closure dates (18-31 march) also coincide with malaysia movement restriction order (partial.lockdown)
  25. Malaysia just announce movement restriction order or partial lockdown. Closing of all but essential services until end of march. This is after another 125 new case reported today.
