Its about 10pm when enter Xboys and its a full house, with lots of regulars, friends of owners, and owners from other bars coming to visit and celebrate Xboys party. There is a french guy hosting the event, and when i enter, there are in the middle of pulling out numbers for lucky draws. Prizes range from 100 baht discount in one of the bars or karaoke bars in pattaya, to a bottle of whiskey, and even fancy dinner in some Jomtien restaurant. Shows starts 15min after 10pm, and tonight they have 3 shows, 2 more at 1130pm, and another 1.15am. Not sure if they have similar time and number of show everynight or just for this anniversary, but i know they do have at least 2 shows other days previously. I ended up staying for all the shows, and got a lucky draw as well lol. I can honestly say their shows improved a lot compared to last year. I cant recall the order exactly but big cock parade and sex shows are the opening act, with the first show is a 3some sex show with 2 big cock top, taking turn fucking one super horny bottom, and of course they parade through the crowd to get tips and gave a close up view of the show. The first winner of 5K baht seems to be a lady, seems to be related to the boss, and she went ahead and throw the cash to the stage for the boys to take. 2nd winner was a french guy, also a regular or maybe part owner of other bar, as the MC knows him by name, and he asked the MC to give the money to all boys and staff, so MC make all of them to queue and give them one by one, and each of them says thank you to the guy. The 10k baht winner is also someone well known to the crowd there, not sure what if he is owner or vip customer but he kept the winning for himself. There are few guys in the crowd that have been winning lucky draws multiple times as entry for lucky draw is through buying drinks, with opening a bottle gave u 10 entries. The owner are really in giving mode, though i believe lots of the vouchers mightve been gift from other bars as well. The party ends with a speech from the owner thanking everyone and singing happy bday song and cutting the cake and distribute them to all boys and customers alike, along with free wine to staff and boys. It was definitely a fun party and i am glad i was able to be part of it. It was close to 2.30am when i decided to leave. But not before i had a chance to see if anyone i want to off. Thanks to @williewillie who updated in the forum about Xboys 10th Anniversary party which is happening tonight, so Im anxious to see what they have to offer. Last year visit, I did off my first regular boy from pattaya from this bar so I did have a great memories from this bar. I did reread my pattaya report on xboys so i can make some comparison after 1 year visit. I can attest that rio food is lame and expensive especially those beach-facing restaurant along copacabana and ipanema beach. Ive tried the downtown restaurants too but its all the same, albeit less expensive. Safety is a concern if you venture out of the normal tourist area and past certain hours, which is not at all a concern in thailand. Hotels is cheaper in thailand, value for money wise too, as u can get 5 stars hotel near all the action for usd 100 or so. This is true for most of south east asian country minus singapore of course. Ive only been to rio, but hotel prices along the beach are way too expensive for same quality same size room compared to bangkok. And brazil inflation is a bit crazy and unpredictable too, so go when its cheap like now.

I was quoted 3k ST by mamasan in BBB during christmas time and when countered with 2k, boy immediately say yes. So its not a fixed price. I rarely asked mamasan prices though, prefer to ask boy directly, and very understandbly, different boy have different quotes though very rarely outside acceptable range.

For the first class airconditioned train (~400 baht), i dont think u need to reserve early. The cheaper class 3 one definitely worth booking early. When i went there before for 2 night visit, i managed to get the class 3 going there walk in but had to take the second train. But going back from hua hin, only the aircon car is available, so we bought it together there. Any other suggestion would be pattaya and ferry to hua hin? But only if pattaya is within the itinerary, otherwise, might not justify the extra hours travelling by bus to pattaya, then to the pier for ferry. May want to also check the timetable for the ferry.

The mall mustve subsidized these seller on rent at the very least, otherwise i cant think how the seller can sustain selling food this cheap in such an expensive mall. After lunch, I went around the mall window shopping and also went to the apple store, which have access to the outside garden terrace with view of the river and i can clearly see Mahankhon tower from here. The weather is quite hot so i didnt stay long there. Back to my Laos predicament. One of the reason i didnt immediately say yes to Y is to first check the hotel and flight prices, and see if its what im willing to pay. Flight was rather on the high side for a short distance but it is a very late purchase, but the hotel price are very reasonable for a hotel room with balcony for Y to smoke, so i decided to take him with me afterall. I did went through all the reason why taking Y with me is a good decision. First, apart from LT tip, only major expense added are flight, and food which i understand from reading the internet as well as asking some friends is really cheap in Laos. Second, Y ticked so many boxes of what i consider a good companion. He remembers me after 1 year. He has no hesitation to go LT with me. He dont mind walking to Pullman G. His services in the bedroom deserve 5 ticks lol. When i brought up Laos, he is the one who offered to go with me, another tick. And after we had our LT session, he still interested to go with me to Laos, for whatever reason, he can stand being with me for more than 8 hour, another tick. He can hold a conversation as well, rarely i need to use google translate. He also opened up about what i consider very private issues, and i am a sucker for meaningful conversation like this. Vientiane isnt that far from thailand, and its only for 3 nights, so i think he is worth the risk. So I texted Y, and told him ill take him. Asked him for his Passport details, and booked the hotel and flight using expedia. I shared with him his flight details and told him that we will meet at the airport as ill be coming from pattaya that morning. So yeah, ive given this a lot of thought. At that time, I just cant find one reason that is a deal breaker for me to take him. As a bonus for him, he is due to do his visa run as well and my trip to laos is actually 2 days earlier than his visa. So it works perfectly for both of us. Plus, I doubt i can find boys as easily in Laos, especially of this quality. Back to trip reporting, after iconsiam, I went to prime again, and again allowed to choose from ipad. Malaysia gov usually close school during very bad haze as well, and its mainly because many of our school are non-airconditioned, with windows not sealed and kept open for ventilation. So, for these children attending such school, its as if they stay outside the whole time in such a bad air condition. Thus to protect the children, gov close the school. But it is futile if they live in houses that is not airconditioned with sealed entrance and prorer filter and ventilation as they will be subjected to bad air at home too, but of course, the gov is not responsible for that, but they are responsible for the school. This measure is definitely just a short term reaction towards the air polution rather than a solution. Similar to an evacuation due to forest fire etc.

Yup, i do know there are added costs to bring a boy with me on a trip. Ive done such trip before, and considering the increased in costs, vs 24 hour a day access with the boy of my dream, its worth every cent lol.
