Very fair point being raised here on gender. My country are conservatives on both sides of women and gay alike. Of course lewd women arent persecuted as bas as the gays but it is still not easy to see women in a male bars. So at least for me, seeing a female colleague in a silom gay gogobar is very unlikely enough to not make me feel worried about going there. But this might not applied for the chinese though. Your doctor can better advise you what kind of test is available, the time, accuracy, window etc, and of course the price. Im no way an expert, but i just went for testing here in the community clinic that provide anonymous testing, and they have around a dozen or so tests and combo, priced from usd 10 to usd 80 or so, complete with counselling on stds and support if any of the test came out positive.
