Horrible loud I fear

It reminds me of my dad. Whenever Mom was nagging again, he’d be completely deaf to it. But he’d hear even the faintest sounds in the house right away. It’s selective deafness, and I inherited it from him. Very handy ;-)

They often read the IMEI (hardware-specific). IMEI: Identifies the cellular modem or device and remains the same even after a factory reset. Factory reset: Deletes user data, settings, accounts, etc., but not the IMEI. SIM/eSIM: Has its own identifier (e.g., ICCID or, in the case of an eSIM, additionally EID) and is independent of the IMEI. In the worst-case scenario, you’ll have to buy a new phone. BTW IMEI is also transmitted over the air. So they can track you even with a different SIM/eSIM.

When something is so ugly (in this case, the color scheme) that it almost physically hurts your eyes, people often say, “It’s giving me eye cancer.” Color vs. Colour: I leave that to you guys. I have the US spell checker enabled because the US flooded the whole world with it at some point. so it's my default. Personally, I like to hear British English (depending where you are in UK).

I often ride a motorcycle at home (I’ve been doing it for over 40 years). I’ve ridden my enduro through Africa and the Middle East. I consider myself an experienced motorcyclist. But in Thailand, I only rent a bike on quiet islands. It would never occur to me to ride a bike in Bangkok or Pattaya. Maybe I’m just getting older (and/or wiser) 😉
