I'm surprised you paid SGD46 to see them when you could have seen and petted them for free at Jomtien Complex. π€π€·

So you're 90 now? Impressive. May you have many more good years to come. My maternal grandmother is 103. Still manages herself, showers on her own and walks unaided. But we don't leave her alone and somebody is always with her, much to her chagrin at times.π€·

Which bars in Pattaya have shows of male athleticism? π

Glad to hear the show isn't "risky"; we wouldn't want those sequinned gowns to catch fire, would we? π -
Fraud Alert: Fake Message Regarding Hotel Booking

Thank you for your very clear and thorough explanation, @daydreamer. I wasn't aware of the difficulties US credit card holders faced when making bookings from outside Thailand. I can't use my home cards while shopping on some Thai online platforms for Γ¨g, Shopee Thailand. No problems with the big stores such as Central - my favourite. Thankfully I have a Thai bank account which I opened twenty years ago! Or I just get a Thai friend to shop on my behalf and reimburse them accordingly. I understand it is much harder - but not impossible - for foreigners to open a bank account in Thailand now. I imagine it would require some kind of long-term residency status. -

Not true. This is a topic you're clearly well-versed in and I've enjoyed reading your thoughtful explanations the few times you've bothered to make them. π -
Fraud Alert: Fake Message Regarding Hotel Booking

Why couldn't you book directly with the smaller, Thai-owned hotels @daydreamer? -
I had to google "Baedeker" as I had never heard of it. Have a few Lonely Planets though and the last Lonely Planet Thailand written by Joe Cummings and therefore worth reading. I've read Christopher Isherwood's novels and seen the movie starring Colin Firth, A Single Man, who was brilliant in it. I remember thinking if only they had gay Patpong back then. π

As far as I know only X-boys and Boyz Boyz Boyz have sexy shows, with X-boys having a raunchy, retro Patpong-style show whereas Boyz Boyz Boys is midly tiltillating. What about Castro and Dream Boys; do they have shows? Long before Covid I remember watching an X-rated show at Dream Boys. I was with a newbie friend whose mouth remained open throughout. π I recall reading about a sexy boy show in Jomtien Complex where Aunty Vin was lusting after one of the performers to the point of going on a wild goose chase after him. Can't remember the details of the bar or the show. PS Could the moderators move this thread to the Pattaya forum, please? I posted it here by mistake.

Please don't confuse @Olddaddy with those big words, @Patanawet. π

Welcome to the forum @differenceday. Are you by any chance related to @pong2 or studied at the same school perhaps?

Non-sexual blood tests? Where's the fun in that? Seriously though, you can try giving them a call @Patanawet. I think they have operators who speak English. And going off the piss is a good idea. No need to apologise. ππ«Ά

It shrank when he met you. He might just as well have taken an ice bath. π

I don't either and the sad thing is that there was often nothing wrong with it to begin with, just like many guys I know who've had cosmetic surgery on their faces.

Imagine their disappointment when they do and find there's nothing in it! π€·

Well the good news is those Sunee Plaza boys would be of legal age now. π

Yup, for me face and body would be the first point of attraction but if the personality, personal hygiene and grooming don't measure up, then it's a no go. I've never been concerned about penis size.

Sounds like a school excursion. Who's the teacher-in-charge? Ohh don't tell me, don't tell me...is it Mrs V?
-
Yes. @Keithambrosewas the chief foreign legal adviser to John D. Rockefeller at Standard Oil. π

Oh I dunno...Olddaddy seems to have had a fair go at it, as the Aussies would say. π€£π

Instead of rambling on where or how the term "Oriental" may be used denotatively, try looking up its connotative meanings which are generally considered offensive, dated and derogatory when applied to people. It carries strong colonial undertones, reducing diverse cultures to a stereotyped, exotic or othered image. The term is linked to historical discrimination, "yellow peril" stereotypes and Western colonial attitudes that viewed Asia as other or inferior and reduces diverse populations to a monolithic, exoticised or foreign image, often disregarding individual identities. Not surprisingly, I've often seen this blinkered lens applied to the diverse Thai peoples in this and other fora. I suggest anyone who's interested in this topic read Edward Said's seminal tome, Orientalism.
