I went back to the gay area tonight. It was rainy and everything was quiet. HotMale had very few guys on stage. Dreamboys had even less. Freshboys had more but not the typical slew. I went back to take the guy from Sept. 12. I really like him and have chatted daily since meeting. I popped in to get him. I had them both for drinks and they were hot! But, "Man. Man." and no sucking or anything so I left them alone but have an eye on one of them.

6 drinks at 300 baht each was 1800 baht

200 baht for each boy was 800 baht

100 baht for tips for my boys friends there 400 baht

400 baht from guy who remembered me from Pattaya and a nice conversation

3400 baht total for Screwboys

Total for night: 4600 baht

Boy who came home for short time was a good tip which I won't get into great details.

But, a good night with no customers anywhere and few boys and still I had a hot big dick guy next to me for hours and told me he now wants to stay with me all next weekend.

This is completely untrue. There is a huge, thriving gay scene in Bangkok that has nothing to do with commercial sex or go go bars. Paid sex is a very small fraction of the landscape. 

The commercial sex scene is marketed and made accessible to English speaking tourists, which is why the discussion here tends to be heavily centered around boys and bars. But don’t discount the local gay scene, clubs and parties, the Songkran festivities, White Party, and the privately hosted gay events and parties just because our members rarely go to these. There is so much more to gay Bangkok than discussed here. 

But yes I agree we all wish we were there, for bars or other venues.

I should have said the bars, and massage shops, of course, are the biggest part of gay Bangkok to me. 

Wish I was young enough to take advantage of those other options.

None of my Thai friends ever go near the tourist commercial sex venues. When they go out they meet in bars which are devoted almost exclusively to Thais. Many cater to a mixed crowd but will have a specific gay section.

There is also a vastly larger thriving commercial sex scene around the country which tourists and local farang never get near.

Because they are meant for a Thai audience. The boys have no interest in going with foreign customers nor is there any incentive for the patrons, or owners of these venues to introduce foreigners when they are doing good business from locals already. They have a system in place, foreigners don’t know the system and they don’t necessarily spend more than local customers, who have the benefit of being regulars and would not enjoy frequenting the same venue as tourists. Same goes for the girls commercial scene, for every Patpong or Nana bar, there are even more Thai-only joints with local entertainment and high rollers. There are also many trendy bars for a middle class audience, many of them pretend to be host bars but the boys and girls can he bought for the right price. There are also venues for hi-so and lo-so transactions. I was told if you go far enough up the hi-so ladder, even celebrities can be procured.

I think a few farang who work, own homes in Thailand and have been given permanent resident status do get some kind of ID card, but it is still different from those for Thai nationals.

So, as it turns out, I did swap numbers with one lad and spent time with him last night. I was right. Not gay. Not great sex. But, I'm old and easy to please so I was happy with him. I'm seeing him again this week. He did ask, "good sex?" and I said, "50/50" in Thai. He laughed and said "next time better." So, as a true believer, I'll trust his word as I know no bar boy would ever lie to me!
