I haven’t been, i typed that from reading reports from others. I think people were hinting that you might get your wallet stolen, it is not organised like a sauna where you have a safe locker etc. And it is kind of a rough crowd, not sculpted bodies that look after themselves.

I can't get over how people are having disappointments at Club Tobi. I found it to be one of the world's top escort saunas. Either it's gone down or people are visiting on bad days.

@pauleiro, GEH and StM in Bogotá have updated info. The best place to keep tabs on them for changing social media info etc is www.guiagaycolombia.com ... I don't have time to summarize. They now display images, pretty much the same guys for both parts of the venue, uninspiring in general. I hope there are other gogos who are not depicted visually but better. Probably more likely Fri/Sat. The GEH guys are presented as true escorts now. 

The bisexual Thurs never really got off the ground. 

I think Theatron draws the better looking. One gogo there had an ad but I have not verified it. He is the one so far I rate 9/10 .... others are 7.5 at most. Of course, based on my tastes.

Really bad to hear that Club Tobi's masseurs are not as georgous as they used to be. It was a reason to go to Columbia ! I hear Adrian no longer works there and Christain left a couple years ago. Those two muscle guys were perfection. 

While Medellin is much cheaper and better looking guys, it may be better now to get a close hotel and concentrate on Theatron and St Moritz in Bogota.

Cómplices Spá in Bogotá, apparently does have massage trade, but it may be only Fridays and Sundays. I did not get to check it out. It cannot be worse an environment than Saint Moritz. 

It is not really a “hot spot” question, but I need to ask for a friend:

4 or 5 star hotel in Bogota where the policy is “no questions asked” when you bring a guest for the night or for the afternoon.

There's a Holiday Inn Express & Suites on the main street on the north side of Chaperino and close to the masseur saunas. It's extremely nice (and impresses friends) and I had no trouble the 1 time I took a guest in (I had reserved and paid for 2, btw). It's on 67th. (There's another further north on 92nd in the nice financial/entertainment district.) There's an Embassy Suites by Hilton very close also that I may try next time. International chains are usually easier to bring guests than strictly local hotels.

You won't get beach or sun in Bogota. Always cloudy and cool. Medellin is more a tourist mecca with constant sun, warmth and hotel pools. The Caribbean coast is very sunny and beach but less gay life. Bogota is easiest for hook ups, Medellin has better looking guys and is so-so for hookups.

Bogota (pop. 7.5 million) is very high up in the Andes and is always foggy, damp and cool. The native population is Inca. But it's also a huge modern European-type city and costs twice as much as Medellin for everything. It also has a huge gay area that Medellin does not. They vacation often in Medellin and everyone in Bogota will tell you how beautiful Medellin is and how good-looking and friendly the people are there.

Medellin (pop. 2 million) is in a always-sunny valley and has flowers and vacation hotels everywhere. The people are mostly European Spanish stock with a little mix. They are extremely friendly and healthy and Medellin is a festive city. There is no clear gay area but several gay clubs and there is a small block of hustler bars downtown, and Club Tobi. a beautiful sauna, which has "no holes barred" masseurs for $18. I had excellent experiences at Tobi but later reviewers said the quality of the masseurs declined. Many latin Chaterbate rooms are really in Medellin and it's good to make contacts before going there. Although many guys are receptive they're hard to find. The ones in the hustler bars are the only ugly guys in Medellin. 

Cali (pop. 2.5 million) is Pacific coast but I've never been.
