Yesterday I spent a couple of hours going through threads here, towards my upcoming visit to Medellin.

Any well-intentioned researcher needs to go through 4 dfrnt sections: threads in this LA section, the clmbia sub-section, the "for members" sub-section,and the businesses sections. There is ABSOLUTELY NO dfrnc in the content btw these 4 sources.

I asked TotallyOz to establish the clmbia sub-section so that all threads clmbian wld reside there. Now, instead of having only 1 or 3 as we had before, we have 4.....

I m sure that if info was more readily accessible, there wld b less repeatitive questions.

I call on u veterans to find a way to advance such a reorganization, for the benefit of all.

The search engine does not care about forums if you set it that way. If you are researching a location, enter it in the search box, set it for all forums, for titles and content, and it will deliver you all mentions of that topic in one place.

Thx, and of course true, but not every thread about (for example) Medellin contains the city's name.

Furthermore and in any case, why this multiple redundant division? As a newbie, I wldnt know how to exhaust the search.

I understand your point. Yes, it would be great and it would look neat. 

But my point is, if you really want to find all the info about a destination you are researching, all you need is the search engine. This forum does not have an admins team working on managing it, we are here for free. Use the resources we have, we do not need more.

I usually go to PV in the off season. It's less crowded and there are more Mexicans and fewer gringos. The ocean is warmer and it's better for swimming, and prices are cheaper.  I'd be happy to share tips with you.

I’ve been to PV countless times and know it well - we all have our preferences. Mine is perfect weather and if it costs more in season, then I’ll happily pay more for it.

I’m a truth-teller and i get some here don’t have the stomach for cold hard factual information. Nor do I indulge stupid people.  And I definitely don’t give any deference to adult men using hysterics and overblown drama for attention. Give me a break.

I do come here because I’m interested in the core subject matter and contribute accordingly where I can share information - both in public posts and PMs.  Sharing useful, real & factual information is the goal here.  In return, I’ve received invaluable advice here and am grateful.  Information I wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else - someone recently helped me get a Monkeypox vax because I’m traveling soon and it’s a good idea given my destination.  

@Luckyas a long time member here you are very familiar with the ignore function.  I suggest you use it.  And if you want to engage w the new members questions that have been covered over & over, then perhaps they should PM you directly. Btw - for anyone reading this.  Monkeypox in the US is vastly underreported and is spreading exponentially in major US cities and anywhere with a significant gay population.  There is no commercial testing available anywhere in the US and is only being done by each states Department of Public Health.  You can get vaccinated if you think you’ve been exposed and can be linked to an event with known transmission. I’m assuming each state has their own eligibility criteria which should all be available online.  In Florida, friends tell me it’s easy and no wait with plenty of vaccines and same day appointments are available.  In NYC, the demand is exceeding the current vaccine supply and no appointments currently available, although they are releasing more appointment dates as vaccine supply comes in.

if you can get the vaccine now - do it.  The Jynneos vaccine is the one recommended for gay men & appears most commonly used.  The other vaccine in use, ACAM2000 is not recommended for gay men as it contains a replication competent virtue and may cause complications with HIV meds.

Many doctors are not diagnosing this accurately when patients come in as they are not familiar w symptoms.
