Not sure you understand what I meant. I posted a trip report and one of the older members voted it down. He didn't edit or delete it, just gave me a down vote, which I guess is equivalent to a "dislike". As a new member here, I really didn't know about any of the history but after reading through the threads, I see that this particular person seems to attack people who post trip reports and call them trolls, fakes, even claim that they are other people. He didn't vote away my post, he simply voted it down while other members liked it or thanked me for the report. One instance is not a big deal, but when there is a pattern of someone doing this, the moderators should step in since it really discourages participation of new members (which may be his intent). I now know that he is the troll and I've hidden him and will not interact with him.

I didn't know it was a thing until it happened to me - for posting some tips for travelers, which I thought was being helpful. Not sure why your friend found the need to downvote it, but after saying I need to grow a spine, now you admit it is a hurtful thing to do. I'm shocked by the behavior of some of the older members here - calling people trolls for posting and asking questions, accusing people of being someone else, piling on new members because they do something that new members often do (like ask a question). You all should be ashamed of your behavior.

It's clear you don't understand what I'm trying to say. My point was that the one accusing other people of being trolls is the biggest troll here. I didn't know who he was and had no interactions with him until I posted my trip report and he downvoted it. I didn't care, but I was wondering why someone would do that. Then the more I read, I saw that he has a disturbing pattern of behavior which I would describe as delusional. He thinks multiple people are the same person. He follows and stalks people. He made someone post photos of his passport after calling him a liar and even that was not enough to satisfy him. He doesn't seem to add anything to any of the discussions - provides no helpful information, hasn't posted a trip report that I can tell, all he does is harass people. And it seems you've done some things as well. It's shameful that gay men act this way. I think the intent is to drive new people away and discourage them from participating. Not sure what you gain from this.

Rather than opening a subfolder for Mexico, it looks like we will need a whole forum for crying little trolls' grievances.

Dummy joined less than a week ago. After he shared that @Slvkguywas now in his ignored list, he has several times quoted posts of the allegedly ignored poster. In one of his serial dummy posts, Dummy even confessed that "now and then" he checks what slvkguy is posting.

So he has blocked a poster just a few days ago, and after blocking him just a few days ago he has already unblocked him several times to read the posts.
