They believe that Trump actually cares about them but it reality he couldn't give a shit about those who voted for him - most of whom he considers losers. And they obviously believe that Trump would hang out with them in real life. Just wait until another pandemic comes and they are denied access to vaccines. Or until tariffs are applied to foreign goods and prices rise, along with inflation. The most frightening thing is all is watching him choose his administration from a motely bunch of characters whose only qualification for the job is their loyalty to Trump, rather than to the constitution.
