I don't know what happened in my brain, but when I read "introducing iPads to the seats", I pictured every seat being cushioned with absorbent anti-incontinence pads. Might not be a bad idea consideri

Where do the below 3 hybrids fit in?    Are they not a type of gogo bar ? The Best Bar in the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown) has a gogo boy segment in their 4 times each week sexy show.  They da

I had seen the pillows in "action" when forum member, @emiel1981 came to Jomtien for a visit last year. We were both sitting at The Best Bar (in the outside chairs), when we saw many patrons going in

Who said thare are not? Limit comes not as much from price level but fact that is hard to measure up prospective candidate sce thay all are fully dreassed, at least in case of BBB.

For those of us who haven’t been, has anyone put together a list of gogo or hybrid bars in Jomtien/BoysTown/Sunee and what type of boys (e.g, hunks, straight guys, twinks) can be found there? I for one would love a guide 😃

Anyone who can provide a link? I looked for it and no luck 🤷‍♂️ I remember seeing one from 2024 but don’t remember if the list described the boy types

To make a start. Jomtien: twinks at all of M Bar and Gus Bar, in Sunnee at Winner Bar, in Boyztown at Toy Boys, mostly gay is my impression. There are many more bars to describe, all of which are worth a look.

Also Classic Boys in Boyztown with twinks.

Death blow to Sunee?

The famed advertising tycoon David Ogilvie once wrote, "Encourage innovation. Change is our lifeblood. Stagnation our death knell."

Emile Zola had a slightly different view. "This sounded the death knell of small family businesses, soon to be followed by the disappearance of the individual entrepreneur, gobbled up by the increasingly hungry ogre of capitalism."

I'm not sure how relevant these are to the end of what had appeared to be one relatively popular bar in Sunee Plaza. But it was obvious Sunee was dying years ago. Was it due to it just becoming boring? Did it make any real attempts to change? Was Winner Bar ever likely to survive? I visited once quite soon after it opened and enjoyed it. But for a piece of real estate for most gay patrons in a dying part of town being open for just 6 hours a day, maintaining quite a large stock of booze and praying that each low season would be better that the last, surely that required some sort of miracle.

What change might be required to reverse this dying trend I have no idea. All I can think of is clustering of venues as in Jomtien and as used to be in Bangkok's Soi Twilight. But this would require bar and venue owners to come together to work out a strategy and plan for the future. From what I recall, in the past owners rarely had much interest in any other than their own venue.

Damn, Winner was my favourite in Pattaya. I wish Paul all the best, he is a good guy and cared for his staff and customers.

On my last visit he did mention the owner(s) of Sunee raised rents and were making it unviable to continue while Winner was experiencing a lower high season.

Jomtien: twinks at all of M Bar and Gus Bar

In my opinion: Jomtien is twink heaven. All the bars have twinks. There's not much variety in boys-types there. As I prefer a more toned body, I like hunks more. So in Pattaya I normally get more lucky in and around Boyztown. But need to be said: when looking good, one can find a rare hunk in Jomtien also. ;)

By the way it took me some time when I started on this forum to understand what everybody meant when talking about twinks and hunks. Till I found this little but very accurate explanation: A “hunk” is an older slang word that describes a handsome, well-built man. A “twink” typically refers to an attractive, young, slender gay man.

I am just wondering, so M bar is a go go boy bar right? boys can be offered to go out, is that correct? Since they have lots of cute twinks, really attracting me~

M Bar is not a classical go-go bar,it is a show bar, but there are many boys there who may be offed. There is an onsite room if one wishes to use it for a small cost. The lads are most willing to be offed!
