Day 8

Good night sleep proved priceless. At 8.20 I woke up , refreshed and went to Unesco acclaimed Foodland for breakfast and chat with reader, our former poster. I needed shoulder to cry figuratively speaking as while I have fun this trip is not as much as I both expected and hoped for.

Upon returning to the room some news from CB, guy who was supposed to carry him over border declined a job , but CB’s his friend in similar situation is flying  to Phnom Penh on Friday morning and he asked if I can buy him a ticket for the same flight. As Obama would say ‘ yes I can” , fired up my smartphone and in few minutes we had ticket, slightly under  80$ one way.

He was not very happy with such arrangement as he still needs to travel about 5 hrs to his home town but at least that is solution to closed land borders. I was happy because it was cheaper option that one previously tabled.

Still it seems it’s hard to get him to be bit more intimate today so seeing that I decided to go for a walk which handily brought me to Arena, what a coincidence I’m telling you !   

Art , the mamas an welcomed me heartily , invited to  ogle his staff on duty . There were 6 boys-it was early afternoon , all super manly so I picked up one  I had massage with last year. I even remembered  where he is from but this time famous boys memory did not serve him well and he did not remember me at all and was surprised when I showed him I have him on my Line.

 Session went well to very well although was bit rushed , we were done in 65 minutes out of 90 mins session but I decided  not to create any fuss. I guess I was not in my normal mood as well plus he was shaved “there” which is something I don’t really dream about.

Upon returning to the room what I saw ? of course CB on his smartphone. I suggested    farang food today and decided to give him a taste of Bangkok public transit so we took bus to Charoen Krung hoping Madrid Tavern or , how it’s called now Madrid Café , will be opened but it was not. On corner of Silom and Charoen Krung we spotted Arab restaurant and CB , clearly hungry suggested we go there.

It was well patronized at the moment but they found us a table, he was happier with his meal selection than me but at least I did no leave hungry. They had nice tasting Australian root beer. Then in moment of enlightenment I suggested Asiatique . Hard to believe neither one of us was never there.  

It was easy to get to as most Charoen Krung buses are going there. Nice setting  on the banks of Chao Praya with lots of shops and restaurants and crowded with tourists. I liked Ferris Wheel so we went there, not particularly cheap at 800 baht a ride but it was worth it for a view from above  and even better, since we were alone in the cabin we did some ‘ adults only stuff, nothing drastic but it was sneaky fun , stolen kiss here, , misplaced hand there, you get the picture. Best part it looks that gloom finally left CB and from then on things were more like in good old days.

Returned home by bus / BTS combination ( there’s direct bus  to and from Silom to Asiatique but after 10 mins of waiting I decided to jump on first going toward station ).

Around 10  we , at CB suggestion , went to Dreamboys . Far  from crowded  , certainly more boys than customers. Novelty was  quite big, 7 or 8 strong, pack of Indian tourists of mixed gender Not long ago almost impossible to see them I bars, now they are almost everywhere.  Funny part was they couldn’t figure out what the best spot is and changed seats at least 3 times.

 Plan was to go to Atlas afterwards  but when I confessed to CB that I like certain boy he said ‘buy him a drink “ so I called him over. It turned they hey know each other AND , later one in the room I discovered that he has profile on  Grindr I’m following and even exchanged few messages with. Of course his profile picture showed him much taller and bit more muscular than original but no to a degree it was misleading.

We hit it on from minute one  so when he suggested we go to Jupiter because he never saw show there I was happy to oblige.

At 11 p.m.,  few customers in Jupiter, again less than boys on the stage but it was blessing as we got prime seats by the side of the stage, not in some obscure corner. Even better, shortage of clients made , normally sober looking boys , smiling at customers including me , even if there I’m almost unknown nobody and tonight I was winged by two boys already.

I noticed another boy I’m watching on Grindr and treated him to no less than 3 red notes during three walkabouts when we were there – investment for a future. I informed CB that our buy  from  Dreamboys is going with us and he was quite OK with it although disclaimed that he will not participate in activities because he is his friend.

At midnight we left or first tried to leave, shockingly mamas an demanded I pay 500 off fee for taking a boy from bar. WTF ? I brought both boys with me , one of them  used to work there for short period shortly after covid , another one was never inside ! But it seemed no to register, only when both boys were involved it turned out he took Dreamboy for somebody else – one of his own staff !. And we are talking about mamas an I saw there few times  before. Anyways boys sorted  it out before it escalated to ruckus but that is warning to everybody- stand your ground. I was more amazed than upset.

We went to Foodland to east something where we joined reader already there and them went to the room where CB finally could stick to his phone uninterrupted – for prolonged time he tactfully retired to the bathroom .

Every trip we meet the precious boy about existence of we never had idea before and this was this trip case. Sure I saw him on Grindr but did not even connect that boy to one I had in my room until he already pointed hat we exchanged some messages few days ago . Certainly it was best meeting  of this trip, active , endowed , master kisser, you name it. Too bad he was booked tomorrow and is also leaving Thailand on Friday. Whenever I return,  I know for  whom I will be looking for. I gave him 1000 more than we agreed for and it was certainly well deserved and even better , worked for.

Day 9

 

CB perhaps  sensed competition as his mood today Is completely different, nice to observe he become his former self. Caring and engaging, suddenly  phone is left undisturbed and no rush to leave bed in the morning. Seeing that,  I promised him to escort him to Swampy for his tomorrow’s flight in the morning, another morale boost and  right after breakfast, when we returned to hotel I gave him 40 $ for costs of getting home from Phnom Penh tomorrow and paid him , as he wished on our 1^st day together  tips for his time with me this week.

Financial matter settled I suggested we go to Golden Mount temple vis Saen Saep canal boat. He never went there that way and was not even aware about that commuter boat. So off we went. BTS  to National Stadium, then short walk to the boat and  at terminal another short walk to the temple itself.  He was serious with his prayers and I soaked in the atmosphere, enjoying nice breeze from the roof. Very calming experience  for both of us. We returned straight to Foodland for a meal and then retired to the room. With phone abandoned we were forced to find ways to be entertained and surprisingly solution  came to our minds very easily .

At 6 pm. I excused myself and went to Foodland to meet Peter PS. It was our first meetup ever and we had pleasant hour of conversation , more about the life than  debaucheries actually.

Then Peter went shopping and I had drink with P in Former Hot Male beer bar, whatever it’s new name is. P was quite clingy , another sign of dearth of customers and if I was alone I’d off him tonight on the spot

In the evening CB and I went to Atlas , no customers when we entered but by time show starter about dozen assembled , I noticed 4 new bodies, I’d classify them as twunks, well built but not over built and all with very handsome faces. Over evening I made sure all got treated with tip. Show was bit shortened with no risky components other than big cock show with participants cruising for tips. Nop , the veteran got one from me.  How come with his great built I never offed him is mystery I can’t answer . It just did not happen I guess. Something to look for in the future.

After show we went straight to the room  for out last night together but festivities were bit shortened keeping in mind that we need to wake up at 6 to catch his morning flight . It was nice to see and sample today  CB as his former self .

It was my first meeting with the famous @vinapu and it was indeed extremely pleasant. He is a fascinating guy. Discussion of debaucheries will no doubt come when we next meet 🤣 🤣

Nop is the older guy who is, almost inevitably, their chuk wow champion. He usually also does the fuck show when they have one. He has been at Tawan for a long time - and moved to Atlas when they originally opened last year. He is a multiple body-building championship winner.  

I would also give him full marks for his personality, even more so than for any physical characteristics.

No, he won't mind this picture being shared. Nothing risque and his pictures are all over the internet.

Vinapu, you have whetted my appetite about Arena and it is now on my 'to do' list. I have read poor reviews about Arena which mainly seem to revolve around pricing, but it seems that disgruntled customers did not do their homework and make full inquiries before having their treatment.

Day 10 , last one

We waked up at 6 am, of course it was me who set up an alarm clock, CB  preparing for flight spent quite a time in front of the mirror and as result I told him we are skipping breakfast as there’s danger of being late for flight.

He suggested taxi butat morning hour I doubted it will be best idea so we went BTS+ARL way. In airport all went well. Last hugs and discreet kiss on the chin and he went to security and I returned to hotel by the way of Foodland. Today is my last day  and finally I’m free to do what I want but it did not work as planned.

Right upon returning to the room an allergy hit me, third bout third month . Sudden swell around right eye and chin. I was prepared with the pill and took it but that in turn made me sleepy so between 10 and noon I slept like a stone. When woke up , at least I looked better and felt better too. At 1.30 meetup with reader in Foodland, our last chance to talk this trip perhaps.

Then stroll to soi where Nature Boy  bar is as I wanted to try new Pheromone massage place  , hoping I will snatch handsome guy I already spotted few times while walking by. He was there eating something so I decide to return in 15 mins. He was not there , I asked guy on reception if he is available and he laughed – he is the boss and is not giving massages. Ouch ! So I settled for 2^nd best. Massage was good , afters could use more enthusiasm but still satisfactory. I left happy even if bit disappointed that boss was not available . Hope next time he will change his mind.

Then rain started  so I headed to the room via 7/11 to stock on supplies as I decided to finish this trip with the bang and organized sequence of visits by two of few my most favorite guys of all times. First , at 4.30 was former model X. I did not see him for few trips which he commented upon entry “ I did not see you long time, you are bored with me ? ‘ which was not  a case but reason for bit of break was that on our last meeting he committed three  sins at once : arrived late . was bit drunk and was rushing though the session like he had another appointment. It never happened before so the I decided to give us  a break.

But since I like him a lot in every sense , personality , body , endowment and work ethics I decided that   what was supposed his penalty become my own and contacted him as soon as I had chance. Great session and great guy who has good sense of what I want from him. Professional in every sense. Shedding clothing right upon entry and when at one point he went to the loo to pee , he went under shower right after to wash his hose. No rushing this time at all.

He told me a bit about his new girlfriend who apparently doesn’t mind him engage with men from time to time as long as it brings money home.

Normally we would for a meal but I excused myself from accompanying him this time as soon after he left I had another star to arrive , Y.

He used to be in Moonlight but in January  he took time off. Was seen by my friend once at Jupiter but it looks that  he got some other opportunities and for  a moment he is not attached to any bar. 

He came with small bag and as it turned it was gift for me , elephant shirt. I was moved, I truly was  It’s not a shirt but  a gesture !!! If X is professional, Y is super professional who knows how to show appreciation for my multiple offs of him in the past,  Last time we met he showed me pics of his home and said that it was partially built with my money – which boy would say such thing even if indeed over years he made some money of me , all well deserved.

Our time today was more romantic than steamy , simply because this is how I wanted to finish this trip and my guy, professional in every inch  sensed it and acted accordingly.

So while this trip was of doubtful memorability for few reasons  my last day, particularly 2^nd half of it  was one of best ever. I did not leave Thailand yet and was already thinking about when next foray there may be.

At midnight we went to G’s to eat something, Y went home and I returned to hotel to pack. I had 4 cans of Chang in the fridge so took them to Patpong and gave to one of Freshboys barkers.

There was no problem of getting passing taxi at 1.30 am and in about 30 minutes I was already lining up for security in Swampy. My 39^th trip was over and thank God for that. One can’t return without leaving at the first place. Too late for summary today , I will write something , hopefully tomorrow

Arena is often mentioned as having maintenance issues although it seems not they take better care about those issues,  but price ? I always think their charges and expected tips are reasonable for what one gets. Can remember when last time I left them disappointed or upset and my history with them is the long one - my first visit was  shortly after they opened one floor down from where they are now and for years it was my first place to start Thai trip.

Not saying complains  weren't warranted but I usually don't pay any attention to reviews , good or bad , by people I don't know.

Unfortunately there always be people who will complain about water being too wet but also enthusiasts who overlook even serious shortage just because they want force themselves to feel and sound like happy.

Main selling point of Arena for me that there one is 125,43 % guaranteed manly men, that's no place for sissy or feminine.

Yeah, people don't go there for a legit massage. Those negative reviews does not reflect my experience there at all.

Summary

One must wonder WTF this vinapu wants? It looks like quite pleasant trip , why that idiot proclaims to be relieved it’s over invoking very name of God?

And I wouldn’t blame anybody for this line of thinking but there were  few points which made me thinking along lines I did.

First this trip was part of bigger trip in which I visited few countries ( my Thai bound flights were from and to Madrid ) and  my relatives. While tourist part was excellent- never been to Spain before and fell in love with country from first sight as they say, family part was kind of uneven as I was placed by them in no-win situation which actually costed me money and forced me to cancel  my originally booked flights. At end of day it was to serve somebody’s vanity and that person was not me. Worst part  was not change of plans neither loss of money but very fact that nobody even bothered to ask me if that perhaps  is the case.  At end of day it worked well but bitter taste will linger for long time.

Second  was over optimistic decision to offer CB week long stay with me. As it turned, even if somebody is very well and very satisfactory rehearsed in the past, both on temporary assignments and travelling together, being together under one roof  in place where one ordinary spends vacations ( me)  or lives   (CB ) has own dynamics and it did not work well for me , if only because our time together coincided with almost whole Thai part of the trip.

 It would be different if it was just 1 week out of 3 or 4.

 I was not mentally prepared for need to entertain somebody  day after day ( nights were exponentially better excluding one , which I already wrote about) with very little room for my personal enjoyment of my , after all, own vacation time.  

As somebody above remarked , in cases like that we need to leave our companion a lot of personal time  but what if companion doesn’t want to use that granted freedom for whatever reasons ? Add to it unhappy circumstances CB found himself in due to political situation  and we have what I had – sharing room with somebody whose mind was somewhere else for most of time and we have prescription for problems. To credit of both of us we somehow managed to put it through without any awkwardness but for me it was not  a dream Thai vacation , that’s for sure.

Failure to succeed in Maxhunt  added to sense of time not entirely well spent but there were very bright moments – by coincidence both provided by  Dreamboy personnel, both in Pattaya an Bangkok and certainly my last two guys X and Y lifted my spirits with their company on the last day.

Whilst not everything went to plan, you navigated it like a champ and came out on top. The reality is that not every aspect of our trips is going to be perfect and things are not always going to go to plan - your report demonstrated an example of what the reality could be like, and I appreciated your vulnerability in sharing with us. certainly  I will be trying hard to make another Januray trip, I loved weather at that time of year. 

I loved out daily chats at Banana and bar hopping after that.

Vinapu, u and many others here correctly advise newbies, that it's very imprtnt to tell the offed guy in advance very clearly what's expected of him. 

I find that equally valid when I have friendly sex or non-sex co-travellers.

I tell them in the planning stage, especially the unexperienced, that we'll BOTH need private time/space, and that it shouldn't b perceived offensive.

Anyway, as always u both conducted urself AND reported it in the gentlemanly way we grew to expect from u.
