Popular Post kram987 Posted Thursday at 02:35 AM Author Popular Post Posted Thursday at 02:35 AM Best New Years Eve ever. At least for me, I had a slow start waking up then went for a short Walt to coffin temple (sorry I’m bad with names but you can Google that, I did. 40 baht admission. Lots to do from candle making to donating a coffin (500 baht) next door at a non profit for the poor. Then back to my hotel stopping for a haircut on the way. I didn’t stay in hotel to long, I wanted to walk some more. Walking past Sun Massage same guy as first talked to me first yesterday did again. I started to walk away but on whim went in. As I passed him he was still watching Soi. I said “ are you coming” he kind of jumped, got a huge smile and went in also. We went to top floor, I noticed most doors already had flip flops in front. In the room he gave my my best massage in a while. He’s from Vietnam and spoke English quite well. More muscles than I had realized a hunk really, though shorter then my shoulder. I left quite happy. Later back to gate to chill. Around 4 I headed to Gs got a great seat to watch the New Years decorations going up( see separate posts for pictures). Food was great, watched them take a staff photo. Seems he and his staff like each other. Then back to hotel to rest up bor a busy night. i decided to try Good Boys for first time, most guys went my type, and in general not a fan. So I quickly finished my drink and went up to fresh boys. A cute muscled guy smiled at me as I entered (great start) enjoyed the show for a while. When they paused for a rotation one guy really stood out to me, the guy from the door, lots of eye contact, smiles. I decided to invite him for a drink, he was from Vietnam. He kept grinning good English, finally “you don’t remember me” it was my massage guy from earlier. I just hadn’t imagined guys would work at both a massage place and bar. Also I blame low lighting. Back in my room it was very good. I really got to enjoy his muscle! After a bit we heard a boom outside it was fireworks from (I thought Central World) straight out from my window . He thought the fireworks odd to the side we’re Central World, he lives here so is probably right. we soon finished up, then showered together. As unplayed he grinned and said it was a great start to a new year, I agreed though I suspect we had different reasons for thinking that. jamiebee, hank75, Travelingguy and 5 others 8 Quote

Never really have been a club or bar person. When I was still in college I let a group of friends talk me into driving from Ohio to NYC for New Year's Eve in Times Square. I hated it. Far too crowded for me. Could barely move. Only other time I did anything similar was when a group of us went to the gay March on Washington. I cannot even recall what year that was...early 1990's? The march itself was fine as well as the rallies, but I avoided going to any of the clubs as I knew it would be wall to wall people. floridarob 1 Quote

So from then on my age would go into reverse. Sometimes it's good mentally for thinking I am younger. At other times I can't keep this up as the time will come when I will need plastic surgery and a great deal more energy to maintain the fiction in the eyes of others. 18 hours ago, kram987 said: IconSiam to crowded and getting back! Before lots of hotels had been constructed on the river, it was easy to see the fireworks close to the riverside. Then the host of new hotels were constructed along with Icon Siam and each tends to have its own little display. Some years ago, about ten friends and I hired a small boat so we could be closer to the fireworks. But police boats kept us quite far back from Saphan Thaksin. With so many other boats on the water we actually did not see nearly as much as we expected. Ruthrieston and kram987 2 Quote

Generally people are neither stupid nor blind and whenever somebody tells you " you don't look your age " it usually means they look for a free lunch or loan. Popular Post kram987 Posted Saturday at 12:39 AM Author Popular Post Posted Saturday at 12:39 AM Day 7 Got up and made my way to Pattaya! Staying at Zing resort this time. Since last time they put up a fence blocking most of the front. Now guests must go up a ramp around then through outside part of dinning room then in and through lobby. Less privacy for guests. I’ve already had one grinder guy take a pass for that. Checking in though reminds me of last time (several years ago). Looking out my window there was a ramshackle massage place across at the corner with a line of mostly older not attractive to me guys. At the end was a shirtless body builder guy. I decided a quick shower and massage was in order. He was ripped handsome face, smiling ear to ear. I remember none of the massage but the after, wow!!! I tipped him well and planned to see him again. Never saw him again. I wondered was I a) lucky I jumped at my one opportunity or b) did I tip to well? Any way late lunch at Dickes one other table I waited a second to see if they wanted to tell me where no sit then seated myself. A second after I sat down a woman said no! Sit there pointing to what could have been one of a few tables. Waiter spoke little English. One other table whole time I was there, but Sofia’s across was full. Food was good though. Next was grinder first guy was keen until he found out where I was. Second guy came but did not match photo but maybe 10 years and fifty pounds ago? I then had a nice walk along the beach and back to my room to chill. Dinner at bakery, very slow service. I was there about an hour and a half for a sandwich and in the end, frustrated I had to call into the back to pay. After another walk along the beach watched some volley ball. First court group with kids second biggest group one woman they were very good! Third group just four very hot guys, they were very good as well. Fun to watch quit a few spectators. by the way, last year was in November before that October I’m surprised how much less humid and hot this trip. I’m really enjoying it. ichigo, FunFifties, Ruthrieston and 5 others 8 Quote
Popular Post kram987 Posted Sunday at 02:44 AM Author Popular Post Posted Sunday at 02:44 AM Day 8 After spending the day exploring Pattaya, walking along the beach downtown etc I took the bahtbus back to Jomtien. After arranging for a guy from Grinder to visit later i decided to go to Sophia’s for a delicious dinner of cashew chicken. During the meal a group of break dancers performed in the Soi in front. Then a walk through walking street. All the restaurants around Sophia s were packed. The bars though there were some with a hand full of non customers many though were still empty at just before 10. i however didn’t have time for a drink, I had a guy to meet. Back in my room I had a quick shower etc. and then waited. He was quite late but when he arrived he was better looking in person and said he was from Madagascar. What can I say the man had talents. And was well worth the 1500 baht. Later after another walk on the beach I fell asleep very happy. FunFifties, vinapu, Ruthrieston and 2 others 5 Quote
