Keithambrose Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I gather that Thailand has launched a new Immigration App, THIM. This is supposed to facilitate entry to the Kingdom, I gather, though information is rather vague. I have downloaded it, it's quite charming! It opens, but as I am not travelling to Thailand, I didn't try to complete the online questionnaire. I read that someone who did complete it, found that it didn't work, what a surprise! It is suppose to automatically download your passport etc, but when this was tried the pages were blank! It's not clear if this is supposed be operational or not. Any info from members would be useful. Quote
Travelingguy Posted June 11 Posted June 11 I downloaded the app for an upcoming trip. I did input all my information. It all went in. I only need to update the health information a few days before I go. From a few comments on Reddit, I think this app will work better if you have a passport from western country. Quote

Glad to hear you succeeded. Let us know if it speeds up your entry! Quote
Matthew285 Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Used it when I arrived on the 6th June, coming from UK, no problems did not have to show anything at immigration, the link to my passport seemed to work with no issues. I filled in all my details and trip information about a week before and then 3 days before the trip received an email and app notification to complete the health check, generated a bar code and that was that. It has stored my details ready for next trip so that is an improvement over the web based system. tm_nyc, Travelingguy, bkkmfj2648 and 1 other 1 3 Quote

Or are they too paranoid about overstaying, etc Quote

I probably should have clarified, Singapore and Hong Kong passport holders can use the automatic entry gates into Thailand (as the Thai citizens use), I think it is only a matter of time before other nationalities will be able to. floridarob, Keithambrose and Enchanted_Elixir 2 1 Quote
