Thanks for this thread. I’m staying not far away at all from this place. My Airbnb is maybe a block or two or away and I’ve walked by it so many times just not knowing the deal of what they do. Over all the years I've been visiting Thailand I have only once been asked for money - remarkable, given the number of guys I have been with.

And the excuse wasn't a dead buffalo - it was a family member in hospital.

I actually quite liked the guy and was considering helping him.

But it soon became obvious that his story didn't add up, so he didn't get a single baht.
